This was such a fun challenge. I enjoyed revisiting favourite stories and authors from years gone by. And I know everyone found voting to be terribly difficult. How do you choose just one from so many wonderful stories? Well, the ballots are in and they have been tallied. Our thanks and congratulations go to all the writers who contributed to this wonderful challenge. Please feel free to extend your own congratulations on this thread.WHAT'S OLD IS NEW AGAIN CHALLENGE RESULTSA. Missing Scene from an episode of Sue Thomas FB Eye Chicken Versus Jack Hudson - MizzN B. Voting was really, really hard! In my book everyone came out as winners, especially as readers because this challenge created a wonderful basis for our summer reading lists. Thanks to everyone who wrote and entered such magnificent stories as well as those who wrote but didn't enter while putting up with me pestering them to do so. Karen

This was a great challenge. And not just because we really didn't have to write anything new. I actually think writing something new would have been easier than choosing which scenes to use. But, I had fun revisiting not on my old stories, which I don't usually like to go back to read, but everyone else's as well. There are so many wonderful stories on this site and it was great to be reminded of them. Congratulations to everyone! Lindsy

I agree with Joy. This challenge was definitely a challenge when it came time to vote, but it also reminded me of many stories I read in the "finished" section when I first came to RFF in 2008. At that time, I was a voracious reader, and honestly, when I finally caught up with myself, I started over again with some favorites - some of these stories I now consider part of my "comfort reading" stories, like a favorite book! Thank you, moderators (and you know who you are Joy and Kav! ) for giving us a chance to not only introduce our stories to a new audience, but to reacquaint ourselves with some old favorites AND new ones! It has been a blast!

I LOVED this challenge. It was such fun revisiting some amazing stories and finding some new ones to read. I especially loved not having to write anything to enter. How lazy is that??? Congratulations to all that entered. And many thanks to Kav and Joy for organizing and running this fun challenge. You two ROCK!
