Independance Day--FBI Style
As Sue and Levi were leaving the office, Levi began barking. Sue turned around to see Jack walking quickly toward her. She smiled widely, happy to see him one more time before the day was over. He stopped in front of her, slightly closer than what was socially acceptable for being "just friends". "So what are you doing for Independance Day?"
"I told you," Sue grinned, "I have to wash my hair."
"And I told you yoour hair looks fine. Besides, that's the oldest excuse in the book, 'I have wash my hair'." Jack imitated a girl primping her hair as he spoke.
Sue tried very hard to keep from brusting into laughter and Levi barked. "Sorry boy," Jack said, "no more making fun of Sue, I promise." Levi barked again and rubbed up against Jack, wanting to be petted. Jack obliged and then brought his eyes back to Sue's as he spoke, "Washing you hair, huh?"
"Well," Sue said, flirtingly, "if we're going out, I have to wash my hair first."
Sue almost laughed again at Jack's extremely surprised face. Then he flashed her a million dollar smile. "I'll pick you up at 3:00 on Monday. Have a good weekend."
"You, too."
Neither of them moved. Both needed some kind of physical contact before leaving. Jack quickly looked up and down the hall, and seeing no one, kissed Sue quickly on the cheek and then hurried back to the Bullpen. Sue smiled all the home.

Sue and Lucy had a great dinner of popcorn and ice cream and a movie fest, each watching their favorite chick flicks. Sue chose Sabrina and Lucy chose The Wedding Planner. When the movies were over, Lucy headed for a shower and Sue decided to check her email. She had barely signed on when an IM popped up.
AgentJackson: Hey! What are you up to?
LevisGirl: Where you waiting for me to come on? You IMed me fast enough! lol
AgentJackson: Well, I was hoping you would come on, but I was doing some work and checking my email.
LevisGirl: Oh.
AgentJackson: So what did you do tonight?
LevisGirl: Lucy and I had a girls night. Movies, popcorn and ice cream.
AgentJackson: Sounds like fun. What movies did you watch?
LevisGirl: Sabrina and The Wedding Planner
AgentJackson: Chick flicks?
LevisGirl: Yea, lol.
AgentJackson: So what do you want to do on Monday?
LevisGirl: I dont' care. But I would like to go see the fireworks over the Mall.
AgentJackson: Ok, we'll def do that. How about just walking around and seeing whats going on in the city. I'm sure there will be lots going on. Do you want to ask other people to come along, or should it be just us?
LevisGirl: Well, I don't want to leave Lucy out. Is it ok if I ask her?
AgentJackson: Sure.
LevisGirl: BRB
Sue went in search of Lucy who was now out of the shower and in her bedroom brushing her hair.
"Hey, Luc. Do you want to join Jack and I for the 4th?"
"Are you sure you don't want it to just be the two of you?"
Sue thought a moment and then replied. "I'm not sure I'm ready for it to just be the two of us."
"Ok, I'll come. But I'm gonna bring someone."
"Anyone particular in mind?"
Lucy smiled, "Yeah. One of the guys who works at Starbucks. He and I talk every morning and he asked me out to dinner tomorrow. As long as it goes well, I'll have him come with us on Monday."
"Great!" Sue was so happy for Lucy. It had been a long time since she had dated anyone. "What's his name?"
"Carlo. He's the hispanic guy at Starbucks. Do you remember him?"
"Yeah, he's cute. And I've seen the way he watches you, he likes you!"
Lucy's smile grew. "I like him too. So it will just be the four of us?"
"Oh, uh, I'm not sure. I gotta go tell Jack that you and Carlo are coming." Sue ran back to the computer.
LevisGirl: Sorry that took so long. Lucy is going to come and she's brining a date.
AgentJackson: A date? Who? I didn't realize she was seeing someone.
LevisGirl: Well, she's not, yet. It's a guy who works at Starbucks and they're going out tomorrow night.
AgentJackson: Oh, ok. I called Bobby and he's going to come too. He's going to ask Tara to come with him.
LevisGirl: Tara? What happened to Darcy? And Stanley?
AgentJackson: Well, Darcy and Bobby more or less broke things off when she moved. And Tara and Stanley have decided to see other people. Especially since Stanley is on assignment indefinently.
LevisGirl: I guess I'm out the loop!
AgentJackson: Not really. Bobby just explained the whole thing to me so...
LevisGirl: Oh, ok. Well, I should go to bed. Lucy, Tara and I are going shopping tomorrow. I guess I'll see you Monday.
AgentJackson: Do you want to go see a movie tomorrow night?
LevisGirl: Sure. What movie?
AgentJackson: Well, I heard Montrose is showing Independance Day. Have you seen that?
LevisGirl: No. How appropirate. LOL. Sure, I'll go. What time?
AgentJackson: I think it starts at 8:00, so I'll pick you up around 7:00?
LevisGirl: Ok. See you then. Goodnight.
AgentJackson: G'night.

My computer is being dumb, so I'm going to add little by litte, even though i don't have that much to add right now.
The next morning, Lucy was up and ready by 8:30 which was really good for her on a weekend. Sue was usually dragging her out of bed at lunchtime. But shopping always got her going early. since they weren't meeting Tara until 10:30 they decided to talk Levi for a walk in the park before going to the mall.

While there walked in silence, Lucy noticed a familar figure jogging across the park. She smiled and Sue asked her what for. "Look," Lucy said as she pointed in Jack's direction.

Either sue didn't recognize Jack or she didn't want to get her hopes up until she was sure it was him. As he got closer, Sue smiled and surpassed the one that Lucy still wore.

Jack slowed as he got closer and stopped right in front of them. "I thought you girls were shopping today." He said breathlessly.
"We are, but we don't have to meet Tara till 10:30 so we thought we'd bring Levi for a walk first since he'll be home alone today. The mall is not a place to bring a dog if you don't have to. Tara and Lucy will be my ears today."
Jack did some quick thinking and, hoping to earn some points, offered to take Levi for the day. "You girls can do some girl stuff and we can do guy stuff."
"What kind of guy stuff?" Sue asked suspiciously.
"Oh, you know, fix things, watch tv, eat, nap...guy stuff."
Sue laughed slightly as she handed Levi's lease to Jack. "Ok, Levi, but don't let any of his bad habits rub off on you." Sue smiled at Jack as she spoke, just so he would know she was kidding.
They parted company, but neither were thinking about the day ahead, but rather the evening.

Tara, Lucy and Sue had a wonderful day just chatting and spending time with eachother. At lunch, Sue decided to broach the subject of Tara and Bobby. "So, Tara, are you and Bobby coming with us tomorrow?"
Before Tara could reply, Lucy jumped in. "Bobby? What happened to Stanley and Darcy?"
"Well," Tara began. "Remember when Darcy was moving away?" Sue and Lucy nodded before Tara went on. "Well, Darcy and Bobby had a fight so Bobby took me to a concert that Garret wanted him to go to. It happened to be my favorite group! Anyway, we had a great time and when he took me home, he kissed me."
Lucy squealed at Tara's confession. "Oh my goodness! He kissed you? So have you guys been dating and not letting us know? And what happened to Stanley?"
"Well, Bobby and I both felt really guilty about the kiss since we were each dating someone else. So we decided to just be friends. It was a little awkward because I could so date him! Anyway, Bobby decided that he would move to California with Darcy, but Darcy basically broke things off, saying she needed to do this on her own. So Bobby came to tell me that, and in the midst of that, Stanley walked in. Talk about uncomfortable! I went out with Stanley, but we had long talk and decided that, right now, the long distance thing is not working. Especially since he's transferred indefinently. So, Bobby and I have kinda been dancing around the subject of dating. And, yes, we will be going on Monday."

Both Lucy and Sue were so excited for Tara. They were good for eachother. Sue and Lucy both had the same thought, but Lucy voiced it first, "What about the rules? No dating within a team?"
"Taken care of. Bobby talked to Garret and he said that he thought it was time to change things up a bit. He is willing to have a few "test cases" of sorts to see how things go. As long as the relationship doesn't interfere with work, its fine."
Sue found that in the next second she had two pairs of eyes looking at her. She knew exactly what Tara and Lucy were thinking, she and Jack could date!

This post might stop in a somewhat odd place, but I have to go to work soon. I'll post as much as I can. I'm going to be descriping new outfits for the girls. I had such a good time "picking" them out with my sis and friend. Hope that I come across clearly so that you all can see the outfits in your mind.
Tara, Lucy and Sue each ended up buying a new outfit for their dates on Monday. In keeping with tradition, they dressed in red, white and blue.
Lucy bought jean capris that fell mid-caf, with a wide cuff. She discovered that if she uncuffed them, they were long enough to be jeans, but for Monday, she would wear them as capris. Tara and Sue talked her into a white shirt, complementing on how good she looked in white. The shirt was a white tank with red lace trim and a white shrug that tied in the front. The shoes were her favorite part of the outfit, silver backless, 1" heels with gem flowers on the front.
Sue bought red capris that fell just abover her ankle with a small cuff. Her top was a white fitted sleevless shirt. White thong 2" heel sandals completed the outfit. The jewelry was her favorite part. Silver anklet with star charm and silver dangle star earings.
Lucy and Sue thought Tara looked great in her all white outfit. White boot cut cargo pants with a large tie belt, white v-neck and v-back tank and white toe-ring slide sadals with red embroidered flowers on the wide band that went over her foot. The silver with red gems Y necklace added a little color.
Their last stop of the day gave them each the finishing touch. Matching rubber wristbands that said "Support our troops." Lucy's in white, Tara's in red and Sue's in blue.
The girls couldn't wait till Monday when they would get to wear their new outfits.

Lucy and Sue got home around 3:00, both exhausted from the day. Sue decided to take a nap before showering and getting ready for her date with Jack. It seem so funny to her be thinking of this as a date. And with the news that Garrett would allow them to date...Sue wondered if Jack knew about that yet.
While Sue napped, Lucy took it upon herself to find out if Jack knew about the change in rules. She phoned his cell and he picked up immediately. "Hudson."
"Hey, Jack, it's Lucy. How did you guys day with Levi go?"
"Good. Bobby is here and we're watching the game. Whats up?"
"Well, uh..."
"Just spit it out Luc, what's going on?"
"I was just wondering if you had heard the rule changes."
"Rule changes?" Jack asked confused.
"Uh, yeah. Garrett is going to allow dating with in a team."
"Oh, that rule change. Yeah, I did know. Why?" Now Jack knew perfectly well why Lucy was calling, but he wanted to hear it from her. He doubted very much that Sue was in the room watching Lucy's end of the conversation.
"Jackson Hudson!"
"Don't worry, Luc, I've got it all under control."
"Does that mean you and Sue are going to start dating?"
"If she says yes."
"Oh, she will. When are you going to ask her?"
"Tonight, after the movie. Don't say anything to her Lucy, please," Jack begged.
"I won't. But I'm so happy!"
"Bye Lucy." Jack hung up the phone and turned around to see both Levi and Bobby staring at him. Bobby was stifling a laugh.
"Big plans, Sparky?"
Jack took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Yeah. I just hope she says yes."
"Jack." Bobby waited until Jack looked at him before continuing. "She'll say yes."
"Thanks Crash."
"Anytime, mate. What do you think Levi? Is it ok if Sparky hear dates Sue?"
Levi barked his agreement and the two agents laughed.

Sue awoke from her nap feeling refreshed and ready for her date with Jack. She showered quickly and dressed in her favorite blue jeans and a black top. She bler her hair dry and let it hang down her back. She smiled at herself in the mirror as she applied her makeup; she was really looking forward to tonight.
Jack was right on time to pick her up, as usual. Lucy bid them farewell saying, "Don't stay out too late!."
"I'll be home by eleven...mom!" Sue said teasingly as she and Jack left.
Not in a very creative writing mood. Thats all I can think of right now. Maybe there will be more before I go to bed tonight.

Sue and Jack talked about everything and nothing all the way to Montrose. Jack bought a big tub of popcorn and a soda--for them to share, of course. They found seats and Jack immediately put his arm around Sue. She just snuggled closer and held the popcorn so they could both reach it.
After the movie was over and they lights were back on, Sue looked at Jack and said, "You brought me to see this on purpose didn't you?"
"What do you mean?" Jack asked, slightly confused.
"You knew that there were parts I wouldn't want to watch and hoped that I would bury my face in your shoulder, which I did." Jack was surprised that Sue had said all that without turning red. If fact she had that cute little teasing smile on her face.
Jack leaned a little closer and admitted, "Yes, I did do it on purpose. And you came through beautifully, my dear."
Sue leaned in and said, "You're horrible." before giving him a kiss on the cheek and standing up. "I need to go to the bathroom and then I'll meet you out front. How about we go for ice cream--my treat."
Jack was so shocked by Sue's actions that he couldn't find his voice so he just nodded and then watched the girl of his dreams walk away.

Sue looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. What did you just do, Sue? she thought to herself. She hadn't minded the movie at all and had loved burying her face in Jack's shirt. In fact she had done a litte more often than she had really needed to, he just smelled so good. And then she had decided to flirt a little, but maybe she had gone too far. Jack had looked so dumbfounded.
She smoothed her hair and took a deep breath before exiting the bathroom and looked for Jack. He was leaning against the building looking away from her down the street. She stopped and just watched him for a moment. He was such a good man. Thoughtful, easy to talk to, and not to mention, georgeous!
Almost as if he could hear her thoughts, he turned to look at her. She walked toward him and linked her arm with his. "Thanks for the movie. I liked it. Next time just warn me that its an action movie?" She flashed a smile at Jack and he smiled back, telling her that everything was ok between them.
He kissed the top of her head and said, "Deal," as they started off toward the ice cream parlor.
After ice cream, Jack drove her home. He was silent most of the way, trying to build up the courage to ask her out. He parked he car in front of her apartment building and turned to her.
"So, did you hear about the new rules?"
"You mean that people within a team can date?" Jack nodded and Sue continued, "Yeah, Lucy, Tara and I were actually talking about that today." Sue knew exactly where this was going and was anxious for Jack to continue.
"Well, uh, I, uh." He stopped and took a deep breath before starting again. "Remember the day you were supposed to leave and we were talking and they Myles interrupted us." Jack waited for Sue to nod before going on. "Well, I was going to tell you how much you mean to me. Sue, I was devastated that you were going. Granted, we would no longer be working in the same unit, so we could have started a relationship, and I know I would have pursued that, but for you to be so far away... Well, now things are a little different. You've still here and the rule shave changed, but my feelings are still the same." Jack looked at her, his eyes filled with hope, as he asked, "Sue, will you be my girlfriend?"

Sue looked at him trying to look at least a little surprised. The truth was she had been expecting this, even hoping for it. Maybe that was why she had flirtted like she had. "Yes, Jack, I would love to be your girlfriend."
Jack broke into a smile and then got out of the car. Sue watched confused as he walked around to her side of the car and opened the door. He held out his hand which she took and then stepped out of the car. He shut the door behind her and pulled her to himself. "Can I kiss you goodnight?" he asked hopefully.
"Only if you promise that it will be like the kiss we shared at Callahan and Merced."
"It'll be better," Jack promised as he leaned in to kiss her.
Sorry, but I gotta run, that's all I have time for right now!

Sorry I've been away so long. My mom was in the hospital cause she had to have her gall bladder out. But she's home now and doing much better.Sue quietly entered the apartment so as not to wake Lucy. She tiptoed to the kitchen to get a drink of water before heading to bed. When Levi nugged her, she turned to see Lucy standing in the doorway. "Did you have a good time?"
Sue simply said, "Yes" and turned back toward the cupboard, trying to hide the smile she could not wipe from her face. But Lucy was much too perceptive.
She went toward Sue and touched her arm gently. Sue turned to Lucy, her entire face lit with a smile.
"So, what happened?" Lucy asked eagerly.
Sue bit her lip, remember the kiss she and Jack had shared. He had been right in saying this kiss would be better than the previous one. "He asked me to be his girlfriend."
"And..."
"I said yes, of course."
Lucy squealed and hugged Sue. Normaly, Sue would just shake her head at Lucy when she acted like this, but Sue herself felt like squealing so she returned the hug wholeheartedly.
"I want details!" Lucy exclaimed when they pulled apart.
The girls grabbed some cookies and headed to the couch, where Sue shared every detail...almost!

Oh, chocolate! Yum! I hadn't planned on giving any more details about their date to the movies, so will you settle for their day out together? Here goes...
Monday, July 4, dawned beautifully. The sun shining in Sue's window woke her at 8:00. She lay in bed for a few moments just basking in the warmth. She smiled as she remembered that she was now Jack Hudson's girlfriend. That fact alone would make her smile for a very long time.
On Sunday, Jack had come to church with her for the first time. She knew he went to his own church on a regular basis, but having him beside her felt so good. She hoped he would continue to come with her.
I gotta do a little back research on my story--I don't want to say something that contradicts what I've already said. I guess I should save the story to my hard drive. I'll be back, I promise.

Lucy's date with Carlo had gone so well, he had joined them at church as well. The foursome had gone back to Lucy and Sue's apartment for lunch and spent the afternoon playing board games. None of them had been so relaxed in a long time; it was nice to just enjoy eachother's company and not be concentrating on a case.
Lucy and Carlo went for some ice cream, leaving Jack and Sue alone. Jack took Levi outside while Sue started in on the dishes. Her back was to him when he returned and he couldn't resist wrapping his arms around her and nuzzling her neck.
"Jack!" she sqealed, which only encouraged him. She managed to turn in his arms and their lips locked. The dishes were forgotten until Jack deeped the kiss and Sue pulled back. "What are you doing?" she asked worriedly. When she tried to escape Jack held her firmly, but not roughly.
"I'm sorry," he said sincerely. "I just...ok, so there's no excuse. It won't happen again. I guess I just got carried away, I've just been wanting to hold you and kiss you for so long, and now that I have permission, I just lose my head. Oh, what you do to me, Sue," he whispered as he rested his forehead against hers.
Sue kissed him softly and said, "Help me with the dishes?" Jack, never so eager to do a chore, picked up the towel and began drying the dishes.
As Sue lay in bed and remembered the day before, the smile on her face grew and her heart warmed. He was so wonderful.
Sue finally rose and began getting ready for the day. As she washed her hair, she smiled, wondering is Jack would remember the "excuse" she had given him a few days before.
There may be some more later on tonight.

Everyone had decided to meet at Lucy and Sue’s apartment. By 3:15 they had all arrived. Bobby, Jack and Carlo were in the kitchen munching on the chips the girls had left out. Tara, Lucy and Sue were putting the last minute touches on their outfits. When they emerged, the conversation and eating in the kitchen stopped immediately. Each girl was looking her best in her patriotic outfit.
Carlo was the first to speak, saying, “Lucita, you look magnifica! White is your color.” Lucy’s giggle broke the silence. The rest of the group was momentarily distracted by Lucy’s laughter; they had never seen her like this! Must have been the accent.
Bobby was the next to speak, “Tara, you look…” Bobby paused as if searching for the perfect word. All he could come up with was, “great!”, but Tara seemed satisfied; at least the smile on her face and the pink in her cheeks said so.
Jack thought Sue looked beautiful every day, and today was no different. “You’re beautiful,” he said as he stepped closer to her. Sue had seen that look in his eyes before; he must have forgotten the other people standing in the kitchen. She suspected he was going to kiss her and, although she wanted him to, she was never one to show her emotions openly and especially around her friends. So she said a quick thank you, linked her arm through Jack’s and said, “Ready?” to the rest of the group. Jack shook his head slightly, bringing himself back to reality.
The group gathered their things and headed for a day on the town. They decided to stay together, at least for now, and hurried to get spots for the parade. They ended up having to separate, vowing to meet at the small café down the road when the parade was over.
Carlo claimed Lucy’s hand so as not to lose her in the shuffle and pulled her down the street. He found a spot just big enough for the two of them. They talked until the parade started and then fell silent, concentrating on the excitement. Lucy never ceased to be amazed by the people walking on stilts. Today they were, of course, dressed in the traditional Uncle Sam suit. When she muttered, “How do they do that?” Carlo was quick to answer, “You have never tried stilts? It is easy. I will teach you, Lucita. It will be fun.” Carlo seemed convinced that teaching Lucy to walk on stilts would be a grand old time. Maybe for him, Lucy thought, we’ll have to see about that. I suppose I could try it though since he’s so cute.
Bobby had grabbed Tara’s hand and hauled her off in the opposite direction from Carlo and Lucy. He didn’t go very far before stopping and turning towards the street. Tara was confused and looked up at him. Suddenly, she understood. Bobby, being almost and foot and a half taller than her (I’m not sure if Tara is really that much shorter than Bobby, but she is in my mind and therefore in my fanfic) and a head taller than most of the crowd, could see fine from where they stood. Tara, on the other hand, only had the view of neck of the person in front of her. “Uh, Bobby,” she said, a little louder than usual, making sure he could hear her and pulling on the hand she still held, “I can’t see.”
Bobby looked down at her, confused at first. Then his face broke into the all too familiar grin. “I’m sorry, shelia, I forget people are shorter than me.”
“I’m not short, just vertically challenged. Now can we please find another place to stand?” Bobby grinned again as he led Tara off to find another spot.
Jack and Sue hadn’t moved as quickly as the others. Jack stood on tip toe and then turned back to Sue, “There is a small spot a little closer, but I’m not sure we can fit.”
Sue smiled mischievously, “Afraid I’ll be too close.”
Jack took the opportunity to kiss her quickly, effectively reddening her face. “Never,” was his only reply before they pushed their way to the spot Jack had seen. The spot was rather small, but Jack put both arms around Sue and they were both quite comfortable.
After the parade the three couples met at the café, as planned. “Well, Shelias, where are we off to now?,” Bobby asked. Sue looked at her watch, 5:15. “How about some food?”
Bobby grinned, “Did you say food? I think I’m in love.”
“Hey! Back off, you’ve got your own date.” The entire group laughed at Jack before heading off in search of food. They finally decided to get hotdogs from a street vendor. “Typical American food,” Carlo commented as he bit into his hotdog.
After stuffing themselves full of hotdogs, chips and soda, they walked to the park. They still had about three hours before the fireworks at The Mall. They decided to head in that direction anyway and spend some time at the monuments.
At 8:30 they all got ice cream and found a spot to sit on the grass for the fireworks. The girls decided to go for a bathroom and break and left the guys to save their spot. As soon as they were out of the hearing range of the guys, Lucy turned to Sue and signed, “So, how is it going?”
“Good. We’re having such a good time.” Sue couldn’t help but smile.
“I still can’t believe he’s your boyfriend!” Lucy said.
Tara suddenly stopped walking, “Whoa, whoa, wait a minute. Boyfriend? When did that happen?” She put her hands on her hips as she spoke.
“Oh, Tara, I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you,” Sue felt horrible for not sharing her news with Tara. What kind of friend was she.
“Sue, don’t be sorry, just tell me what happened!” Tara said excitedly. Sue spent the rest of the walk to the bathroom filling Tara in on how Jack had asked her out.
As the girls stood in the bathroom fixing their hair and makeup in the mirrors, Sue asked Lucy, “So how are things going with you and Carlo?”
“Really good. He’s so sweet! And I love the nickname he’s given me, Lucita,” Tara and Sue were both thinking that it had been a long time since Lucy had been this happy. They hoped and prayed that this relationship would work out.
Almost simultaneously, Lucy and Sue turned to Tara. Neither of them spoke, but Tara knew their unvoiced question. “I don’t know. I mean Bobby and I are such good friends so we’re having a great time. But I’m not really sure if there is any spark there. I thought there was when we went out a few months ago, but now I don’t know.”

The girls walked back to where the guys were seated. One of them had gone and gotten popcorn, probably Bobby. Tara sat down next to Bobby on the blanket he had laid out and he moved over closer to her. She was still thinking about the conversation she had just had with Sue and Lucy, what was going on with her and Bobby? They said side by side in the position, knees bent, leaning back, supported by their hands.
Suddenly a deep voice rang out, quoting words of freedom. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." And then the fireworks began.
Just as the fireworks started, Bobby spoke. “Tara? Can I ask you something?”
“Sure.” Tara waited for Bobby to continue and was surprised when he turned his face away from her. “Bobby, what’s wrong?”
Bobby wasn’t even really sure what he was going to ask Tara; he just needed to know how she felt. He decided to forget words and just go with actions. The next few seconds happened so quickly that afterward neither of them could really remember what happened. Bobby lifted one hand off the ground as he turned to her. He put his hand on the side of her face as he leaned in and kissed her. She immediately brought one hand up around his neck to pull him closer but then she made the mistake of lifting her other hand, which meant she was no longer supporting herself. She fell back, breaking their contact. Tara looked up at Bobby and they both started laughing. Tara sat up and moved so that she was sitting in front of Bobby, who was still supporting himself with one hand. He kissed her cheek before they both turned their attention to the fireworks.
Meanwhile, Lucy and Sue had been watching the whole exchange. I guess we know were Tara and Bobby stand now, they both thought.
Jack took his attention away from the fireworks to look at Sue. He was disappointed when he found her not watching the sky. He nudged her with his elbow and pointed to the sky, indicating for her to pay attention; it would have been useless for her to try to read his lips. Sue obliged and turned her attention to the fireworks. She loved this part of the Independence Day celebration, all the colors were so vibrant in the dark sky.
Suddenly there were letters in the sky. She watched as “Sue, will you marry me?” lit up the sky. It took a moment for the fact that her name was Sue to register. Jack heard the quick intake of breath just before she turned to him. She questioned him with her eyes and he nodded, confirming that the proposal was meant for her. Then he raised his eyebrows in question, waiting for an answer. “Yes!” he heard her yell before she threw her arms around him and kissed him.
She felt him fumbling in his pocket for something and pulled back. He opened the velvet case to reveal the most beautiful diamond ring she had ever seen. He took it out of the box, took her hand and placed the ring on her left hand. She looked down at the ring and then up at him, love shining in her eyes. Jack kissed her again before they turned back to the sky, both thinking about the new life they would start together.

That was a wonderful ending! It was so cool how Jack proposed. Can you really do that, i mean write words with fireworks? Cause if you can that is way awesome. O the technology of this day in age! Great job, sad that its over but it was great.
