“Has he announced it yet, then?” the newcomer asked eagerly as she jostled her
way through the crowd.
“No, not yet,” someone whispered and was shushed by his neighbour.
“Shhh. He’s reaching into the bag…”
A collective gasp circled the room as every elf strained forward to eagerly hear what
Santa was going to announce. This ceremony had become the highlight of their
Yuletide season. Held on December 1st it represented the true meaning of
Christmas; a chance to reconnect with one of their special clients whom they had lost
to adulthood.
Each year, Santa reached into his sorting sack of grown-up names and drew out the
name of someone who needed a special dose of Christmas magic this year. The
magic saw to it that they all remembered the child now grown; every visit, every gift,
the triumphs and the tears. It was always exciting to see the dear child in adulthood,
though often disappointing.
“Has he pulled it out yet? I can’t see!” complained a young elf at her elbow.
“Here, let me give you a leg up,” the newcomer said kindly. “He’s just pulling out the
name now.”
They all watched as Santa looked at the gilt edged parchment. He nodded his head,
smiling in remembrance and then looked out into the crowd. “This is going to be a
very special Christmas indeed,” Santa told them, holding up the card for everyone to
see. The words magically sailed off the page and grew into a shimmering neon-lit
billboard flashing a name they all knew and loved. Their minds were flooded with
memories, both happy and sad and they waited eagerly for Santa’s next
announcement.
“Dewberry, I think. Yes Dewberry, I think you’re the best match.”
“Oh my goodness, that’s me!” the newcomer squealed excitedly, toppling the young
elf she was holding onto the ground. “Sorry. Excuse me. Let me through please.
That’s my name Santa just called.” Dewberry made her way to the front of the hall
and stood bashfully next to Santa. She was still a terribly young elf for this kind of
honour.
Santa squeezed her shoulder warmly. “You’ll do just fine,” he told her, passing the
parchment into her hands. “Remember, your assignment is to make our Special
Client’s Christmas wishes come true.”
The Challenge:
The special client is one our beloved fanfic characters. But which one? And what are
his/her Christmas wishes?
“Finally mate it took you long enough” Bobby said as he picked up his beer and pizza
from the table, to toast his best friend/co-worker.
“Are you ready to lock into place you ball and chain” John add to Bobby’s toast to his
high school friend who moved out to DC after college and became a FBI Agent and
was now getting married.
“Marring Sue is not locking into place a ball and chain?” Jack said looking at his friend
who had arrived and started to enjoy there beer and pizza.
“Oh year she has you hooked lined and sinker” Kyle said laughing with the group at
Jacks comments.
“You know back in high school after Jackie boy here ended it with Allie he swore he
would never get attached to another like that ever again and now here you are about
to make the biggest attachment of all” John said grabbing another slice of pizza.
“Is that so mate” Bobby said intrigued about how Jack was back in high school “is
that what Sparky said back in high school” Bobby asked wanting them to go on more
about what Jack was like back in high school.
“Sparky I think it is about time to load up this table with a bunch of cold ones and get
ready because Story Time is about to begin about the man of the hour. The theme of
the story is “Sparky Back in High School” Bobby said smiling at his best friend.
“I am the man of the hour and yet I have to get everyone’s refills” Jack said as he
tried to lie back on his couch before the big game started.
“Yes because this is yours and Sues home” Myles said chimed in “and because it is
not appropriate for guest to go through someone else’s refrigerator” Myles said in his
most humors tone.
“Yes but I am the one getting marred and use should be the one getting me my
drinks” Jack said looking at his friends “besides Bobby, Myles use two lost the title
guest a long time ago” Jack said knowing he was loosing this disagreement.
“Umm, Nope you own this place that is your fridge, you are the one stuck getting the
drink” Myles said in his Mr. Manners tone.
“Uhh” Jack said as he got up “at my own bachelor party I still have to work” Jack
said as headed to get the drinks.
“Hay Sparky while you are up why don’t you give D a call and find out when the rest
of the group is getting here we don’t want them missing story time” Bobby said
knowing he was about to brake it for Jack real soon.
“Why don’t you give him a call Crash since use have me playing waiter at my own
bachelor party” Jack said in an irritated tone.
“Sorry mate I left my cell phone in my coat pocket besides you are already up and in
the kitchen,” Bobby said really busting on him.
While getting the drinks the doorbell buzzed a blinked alerting everyone that
someone was at the door.
“Someone get the door,” Jack yelled from the kitchen. “I got it” Bobby yelled back
into the kitchen as he went to answer the door.
“Well speak of the devil’s” Bobby said as he let in D, Troy and Charley. “Sorry we
are late but I had to drop off Tanya and Davey to my parents and then drop of
Donna at Lucy’s, then pick up Troy and Charley” D said as he explained why he was
so late. “Have we missed anything” D asked wondering what they missed. “No”
Bobby spoke and signed for Troy. “Good because I can’t wait to bust on him” D said
and signed. “What a party it is going to be and it has not even started” Troy signed.

“Thank You Santa,” Dewberry the over zealous elf said as
she listened to Santa explain her assignment. He told her that
her job was to grant wishes to a Christmas client who
overcame a lot as a child and still continued to do so even now
as an adult and who never once let go of their faith in mankind.
Fading out after getting her assignment, Dewberry knew that
she was more then up to the challenge of making this
Christmas unforgettable for this Christmas Client and everyone
involved. She donned a small pouch of Santa’s magic and with
the last words Santa gave her repeating in her mind “Dewberry
a little magic goes a long way so use it wisely.”
Lucy’s Place
Fading into a corner and staying invisible, Dewberry
remained unnoticed as she watched her client gather around a
table during a party. She listened as she waited for the right
time to start granting Christmas wishes for her client.
“To the wedding that has been a long time coming,” Lucy said
and signed as she raised her glass to Sue.
“Yes I was beginning to think that you and Jack were going to
need new jobs soon if both of you kept refusing to acknowledge
your feelings,” Tara said as she raised her glass to Sue, while
Lucy translated the statement into sign language.
“Even I could see it and I am not FBI,” Amanda signed as
Lucy verbalized for her, causing everyone to giggle.
It was decided that Lucy would act as translator for the
evening and after some jokes and laughter Amanda finally
signed the question that was on everyone’s mind. “What do
you think the guys are doing?”
“Well if I know D, he has probably just arrived with Troy and
Charley and they are probably about ready to start busting on
Jack,” Donna said.
“Oh no what are they going to do to Jack?” Sue signed and
spoke as she looked at Donna, Lucy, and Tara.
“Lets just say the guys are planning to make this a night Jack
will never forget,” Donna said looking at Sue.
“Next to the honeymoon” Tara chipped in, making Sue blush
and Amanda giggle.
“Speaking of the Honeymoon what are you going to wear or
should we say, how little are you going to be wearing” Tara
said.
“Lucy do you remember what Jack gave me for my first
Christmas with the FBI” Sue signed and spoke.
“Yeah. A Jersey with the number 25 on it,” Lucy said as she
signed. “Why?” she asked.
"Well that is what I am going to be wearing on my
honeymoon,” Sue answered as she signed.
“Ohhh” Amanda signed.
“I have to agree with Amanda on Ohh,” Tara signed and
spoke.
“So do I. Is that it?” Donna asked.
“Um, yeah. That’s it,” Sue signed and spoke as she blushed
from head to toe.
“That means we need to give you a head to toe makeover
and make sure your skin is as soft as butter,” Amanda signed.
“Yeah if that is all you are going to be wearing then we are
going to have to make you look like a goddess when Jack sees
you coming out of the bathroom on your honeymoon,” Donna
said, remembering her honeymoon night.
“Well we are going to need a lot of lotion for your whole
body, some butter cream colored nail polish with white nail
polish for the tips and some nail tape” Amanda signed.
“Well, I have a lot of that stuff here already,” Sue signed and
spoke. “I haven’t moved all of my stuff into the new house
yet,” Sue signed and spoke.
Everyone headed into Sue’s room to see what she had, only
to have Lucy stop and tell Sue and Amanda that the phone was
ringing and that she would be back after she answered it.
After going over everything and deeming it not good enough
for the honeymoon, it was decided that they needed to go look
through everything she’d moved into her and Jack’s new house.
Heading back to the living room to grab their shoes and Lucy,
the group of ladies stopped short when they noticed the
expression on Lucy’s face.
“What’s wrong, Lucy?” Sue signed and spoke.
“That call I just answered was from your parents. They and
your brothers are snowed in at the airport in Ohio, and they
aren’t sure if they’ll make it in time for the wedding,” Lucy
responded, signing automatically for Amanda’s benefit.
After taking a moment to let Lucy’s announcement sink in,
Sue decided that the only thing she wanted to do was head
over to the new house where Jack was currently engaged in his
bachelor party, and talk it over with him. “I think we should
get going. Lucy would you drive us all to the new house?” she
signed as she grabbed her coat.
“Sure; no problem,” Lucy signed and the group set out for
Jack and Sue’s place.
“Let’s just hope the guys are behaving themselves,” Sue
signed and spoke, trying to make light of the situation.
Closing the door behind them, they never noticed the little elf
who faded out with the words, “Wish granted,” to rejoin the
group at Jack and Sue’s place.

It was an easy 15-minute ride over to Jack and Sue’s house.
The ride was quiet and uneventful and Sue sat in the back
wondering why her parents had not taken her invitation to
come out before the wedding like Jack’s parents. Her mother
decided that they would come out the day before the wedding.
Her mother gave plenty of excuses for not coming out early.
She wanted the group rate if she traveled with her brothers,
her father had a cold and she didn’t want him out long in bad
weather, etc. Sue finally gave up on trying to understand her
mother, and resolved instead, to have a fun night with her
friends.
When they pulled up to the house, the group noticed an
occupied car parked in the driveway.
“Sue, are the guys expecting anyone,” Lucy signed, looking
at her.
“No. Maybe it’s the pizza guy,” Sue signed as she spoke to
the girls in the back.
“I don’t think so, Sue,” Tara said as Lucy signed to Amanda.
“Oh no I would definitely say they are not the Pizza guy or
girl,” Donna said as she saw one of the women pull something
out of the back of the car.
“Well, let’s go put an end to this,” Sue said as she signed,
knowing Jack would be completely mortified if the girls made it
into the house.
Exiting the car, Sue walked over to the parked car where she
could see two women changing into suits. Knocking on the door
Sue waited for one of them to answer.
“Can I help you,” one of them asked, rudely.
“Are you going into 2607 DC Ave?” Sue questioned.
“Yes,” answered the one dressed in a black suit.
“Why?” Sue inquired, annoyed.
“What’s it to you?” the woman dressed in the brown suit
asked defensively.
“Because that happens to be my house,” Sue replied.
“We were hired to give a lap dance to some guy who is
getting married on Saturday. I am Candy and this is Mandy,”
said the woman in the black suit.
“Do you know who hired you?” Sue questioned, wondering
which guy she was going to have to chew out.
“Yeah, his friends John and Kyle,” Mandy said.
“I suggest you give them a call once you leave and tell them
that they sent you to the wrong house” Sue told them. “Have a
good night,” she said, walking away from the car.
“Night and sorry,” Mandy said as she got into the front seat.
“Well what was that all about?” Lucy asked as they all headed
up to the front door.
“Nothing I couldn’t handle,” Sue answered, a smile on her
face.
(In the House)
Fading into the room, Dewberry could see the men gathered
around the table. She was pretty certain that two of them had
never made it on to Santa’s nice list. Listening closely, she
could hear Jack in the kitchen making drinks.
“Well D, Troy and Charley are here, so let’s get this party
started,” Bobby signed and spoke as he introduced Troy and
Charley to John and Kyle.
“Hey Bobby, what are you doing with your hands” Kyle
asked, wondering why he was waving his hands around.
“Well Troy said nice to meet you. He is deaf and only
communicates through ASL,” Bobby said, answering Kyle’s
question.
“Oh,” both of them responded uncomfortably.
“Jack everyone is here! Where are the drinks,” Bobby
yelled, wanting to end the uncomfortable moment with Jack’s
high school friends.
“I’m on my way out now,” Jack said as he came into the
room with a tray full of drinks.
Putting down the tray, Jack signed hello to Troy and Charlie
before he sat down. “I am not getting anyone’s refills. Get
your own,” Jack signed as he spoke.
“But I just got here,” Troy signed, looking at Jack.
“I know, but you snooze you lose,” Jack signed.
“Hey I was not snoozing. I was working on a car for
Charley. Blame him, not me,” Troy signed making everyone
laughed except John and Kyle.
Once the laughing settled down, Jack looked over at his two
friends and noticed that they had not been laughing. “Oh I’m
sorry. I forgot you don’t know ASL,” Jack said to his friends
and then repeated the conversation aloud.
“Oh, he’s a mechanic?” John asked, looking at Jack.
“How did you guys meet,” Kyle wondered.
“We met on a case that came to my team. At the time, Sue
knew ASL, but now after going to classes we can all sign,” Jack
signed and spoke.
“Wait, he worked on a case with you and only Sue could
speak to him, but now everyone can?” Kyle asked,
incredulously.
“They don’t know Sue is deaf do they?” Troy signed to Jack,
grabbing everyone’s attention.
“I don’t think so,” Jack replied.
“Why not?” Troy asked.
“It’s never come up. Sue is just Sue to me. I don’t see her
as a deaf woman. I see her as Sue, the woman I want to
spend the rest of my life. I see her as the woman I want to
carry my children,” Jack signed to Troy.
“That’s great and I am glad Sue has found a man who can
look beyond her deafness, but the rest of the world may not
see it like that and it looks like your two friends who are guilty
of exactly that,” Troy signed, as the rest of the group looked
over at John and Kyle.
“I think Troy is right,” Charley signed, not wanting to respond
verbally. “Ever since we got here they have been
uncomfortable. I don’t think they know what to make of Troy,”
Charley observed.
“I am going to go and have a talk with them now,” Jack
signed. He glanced over and noticed that John and Kyle were
conversing together.
“John, Kyle? Can I talk to you in the kitchen for a moment?”
Jack asked.

Sorry about the mess up with this story and the names… Jacks friends are John and
Kyle I was working on this story at work during my brake and taking to a co-worker
name Kevin.
Learned one thing, don’t ever try to write and talk at the same time you will make a
mistake somewhere.

(Kitchen)
“What’s up, Jack?” John wondered, looking at his friend.
“I was just curious if you were enjoying the party and how
you were getting along with my other friends,” Jack questioned,
watching their facial expressions for any changes. “And I
would like the truth,” Jack said, forcefully.
“The truth?” John echoed, looking at Kyle.
“Yes, the truth. You two are the friends I grew up with, so I
expect you both to be honest with me,” Jack responded. He
had a feeling that the silence in the room was going to yield an
ugly truth.
(Living Room)
The guys were settling down to watch the big game, when the
door opening surprised them, revealing the girls who were all
talking about something.
“Hey! What brings you lovely Sheila’s to the men’s world of
fun?” Bobby kidded as he gave Tara a kiss.
“Well we found out what Sue was going to be wearing on her
honeymoon, so we came to pick up some things that were
moved here already,” Tara spoke and signed.
“Oh and what is there going to be a lack of?” Troy signed.
“Well, let’s just say an old Christmas gift is going make a lot
of memories for Jack and Sue,” Tara replied.
“Oh,” Troy signed as he blushed from head to toe. He cared
for Sue a great deal, but knew her heart belonged to Jack and
that it would not be right for her or him to try to force
something other then a friendship.
“Sparky better take care of Sue, because that is my little
sister he is going to be doing the Kangaroo Dance with,” Bobby
said and signed in his Aussie language.
Everyone knew how protective Bobby was of Sue, as it
nearly rivaled Jack’s protectiveness. When Sue and Jack’s
relationship came out, Bobby was one of their biggest
supporters, but if Jack hurt Sue in any way, Bobby was always
on her side, so Jack would be in double trouble.
“We know Bobby, we know,” Tara said tapping him on the
shoulder while shaking her head.
“Where is Jack?” Sue signed and spoke at the same time.
“He is in the kitchen with John and Kyle,” Troy replied in sign.
“Oh, ok,” she signed with a, ‘this is going to be good,’ look on
her face.
“What is going on?” Troy asked, knowing that face all too well.
“Let’s just say that Jack’s friends owe a couple of girls some
money and I am going to see to it that they get paid,” Sue
signed, her expression saying the rest.
“Oh boy. This is going to be good,” Amanda signed back
knowing that Sue was not in a good mood.
“I am staying out of this one,” Troy signed back wisely.
(Kitchen)
“We don’t know why you hang out with him,” John said,
squirming a little under Jack’s gaze.
“Because he is a friend of Sue and I,” Jack responded, firmly.
“Well, who was his friend first?” Kyle asked looking at
Jack. “Was he her friend first or was he your friend first?”
“He started to trust Sue first, but that doesn’t matter,” Jack
answered, knowing he had gotten his answers.
“Yes it does! She is pushing her friends onto you,” John
exclaimed. “And why does it matter so much to you anyway?”
John questioned, totally puzzled with the conversation.
“Because if you can’t get along with Troy, then I know you
won’t get along with Sue,” Jack replied, simply. He was about
to say more when he heard Sue’s voice in the other room and
headed towards it.
(Living Room)
When he got to the living room, Jack saw Sue signing to Troy
about a couple of women she found outside. He told Levi to get
Sue.
“Sue don’t speak; just sign please,” Jack signed when she
noticed him. He watched John and Kyle’s expressions from the
corner of his eye.
“Ok. Why, what’s going on?” Sue signed knowing that D
would keep a still learning Donna in the loop.
“Let’s just say that I got a lesson on true friends today,” Jack
signed. “I am going to go and talk to them and I will be right
back. Troy will tell you what happened,” Jack signed and then
headed back into the kitchen, John and Kyle on his heels.
(Kitchen)
“Now you know why you won’t get along with Sue,” Jack said
looking at his friends, who seemed shocked.
“Why, Jack…” were the only words Kyle could seem to form.
“Why? Because I love her. Plus she is a good agent and has
made me a better person and the team that I am on a better
team,” Jack responded passionately.
“She is an Agent Jack? The woman can’t hear and she is an
Agent!” Kyle yelled at Jack.
“Yes she is and she is a darn good one Kyle,” Jack replied
calmly, wondering if he ever really knew his friends.
“Jack do you know what you are getting yourself into? She’s
deaf. What happens if you have kids? How is she going to
know when they are crying? How is she going to be able to
keep your family safe? She should marry some one like
herself. You could have any girl you want, even someone like
Allie! Are you really sure that you want to settle for a half a
woman?” John yelled.
“Well, you answered many of my questions, but why don’t
you ask her yourself” Jack said pointing to Sue who was right
behind them.
No one had noticed Sue come into the kitchen. She had been
following everything Kyle and John had said in a mirror that
Jack had put in so she could see what he was saying when she
had her back turned to him. It was times like these that he
thanked god for her lip reading skills.
“What?” Kyle and John said in unison.
“He said, ‘why don’t you ask her for yourself.” Sue spoke up,
startling the guys.
“What? How?” were the only words coming from John and
Kyle.
“What, is that I can talk and how is years of lip reading
classes. I was not born deaf. I went deaf somehow at a young
age. I do have a couple of things to say to you two. Firstly,
Jack and I don’t have all of the answers to your questions right
now, but there are a lot of things out there that are designed to
help people with disabilities feel safe so they can have a
family. In case you didn’t notice, Jack has put a lot of time into
this house to make it safe for us to have a family together.
Secondly, I don’t appreciate how you treated my friends or
Jack at all. You are dismissed from being a part of this
wedding,” Sue finished, feeling really good about herself at that
moment. She thought of one more thing as they started to
leave.
“Oh and one more thing. Candy and Mandy will be calling
you for their payment, so I suggest you don’t leave town,” she
said and turned her attention back to Jack.
“Wow, and for more than just one thing” Jack signed knowing
that Sue might not be up to using her voice just yet.
“I am sorry if I ruined your party, but we need to talk,” Sue
signed and by the look on her face he knew the news was not
good.
(Dewberry watching)
“Don’t worry guys, Dewberry is on the job,” Dewberry
thought to herself. “Now I am just going to have to go and call
in a few favors,” Dewberry thought as she faded away.

“I am so sorry about what happened with your friend” Sue said as she looked at Jack
not feeling right telling off his friends.
“Sue you had every right to do what you did” Jack said as he smiled. “But what I am
more interested in are what are you and the girls doing here not that I mind at all”
Jack smiled as he wrapped his arms around Sue.
“Well we were getting read to watch the game when every one was interested in
what I was not going to be warring for the honeymoon” Sue said as she batted her
eyes at him “But after looking over at what I have stored over at Lucy’s they
deemed it not worthy of the honeymoon ware so we came here” Sue said with a
smile on her face.
“Well you are more then welcomed to Join the party and I am glad that you are here,
maybe we can turn it into a sleep over party for everyone” Jack said as he went over
to pop some more popcorn.
“I think everyone would like that,” Sue said with a smile on her face feeling much
better about everything.
Turning to leave the room and rejoin everyone Sue smiled and looked back at
everything that had been going on, her marring Jack, Her parents snowed in back in
Ohio, and the party.
“Sue did you tell him yet” Lucy looking at her friend wondering what the changes are
going to be to the wedding plans.
“No not yet I want to tell everyone at once and ask Bobby and see what he says
about the changes” Sue smiled thinking about how much over the years had Bobby
became more and more apart of her family and how he had turned him self from a
friend into her adopted big brother the only thing that could come to her mind was
the Ausie Charm had struck again in giving her a brother.
Heading into the room that was being turned into her and Jacks married room
together Sue sat down with her friends as they went over what she had.
“Well I like the Vanilla Sugar, it smells like candy” Amanda signed as Lucy translated
what she had signed.
“I have to go with Amanda that does smell good,” Tara spoke as she signed as she
smelled it to.
“Now all we need to know is if we have enough Vanilla Sugar for Sue to have for the
wedding and the whole Honeymoon” Donna said as Lucy signed for her.
“Well I have a couple of more bottles in the vanity bench over there,” Sue said as
she signed making everyone happy.
“Well I suggest you sit down and get ready for your make over because it is going to
be one that Jack is never going to forget” Tara said and signed as she pulled out all
of her styling tools.
“One thing I would like to know will this be done in time for the game because I want
to talk to Jack and Bobby at one time” Sue said and signed looking at her friends.
“Lucy go get the blow dryer from the bathroom we will use that to dry her nails, oh
and a shower cap to that will hide her hair from Jack” Tara said as she signed to
keep Amanda in the loop with what was going on.
After an hour of primping and blow-drying nails, poring lotion and smoothing out,
soaking of feet and putting on booties over the newly smoothed out feet and lotion
Sues body from head to toe to smell like Vanilla Sugar Sue and the girls were ready
to rejoin the men 20 minutes before the game would start.
“Wow Sue you smell like a Vanilla field what did use do to her” Myles said and signed
with Troy nodding in agreement making Sue laugh.
“Well lets just say that anything that touches me now will slide off,” Sue said as she
signed making Tory laugh even more.
“Umm Bobby Jack I have at ask use something” Sue signed and spoke.
“Sure love anything,” Bobby said as he signed a little worried about the expression
that Sues face held.
“Well back at Lucy’s before we left Lucy got a phone call from my parents, there
snowed in at the Ohio Air Port and they don’t know if they will make it in time for the
wedding and I was wondering if it was ok with Jack if you could walk me down the
isle Bobby” Sue said as she signed with sparkling eyes that pleaded with Bobby and
Jack for it to be ok.
Bobby looked over at Jack and then back to Sue “Say no more about it Love I am
there and then after I give you away to Jack I will just return to my job as best
man,” Bobby said as he grabbed Sue and held her for a moment “Wow the Sheila is
right my arm just slid right off of her” Bobby said making Sue laugh.
(Dewberry in Ohio)
Looking over at many of the family’s in the airport but none of them seem to be the
family that she was looking for going over to the computer and typing in the last
name of the family Dewberry found that there flight was at Gate 14A and that was
were she was going to start to look at and see if she could find the Thomas’s. Then
head back to see a friend for help.
Popping into Gate 14a and looking around she found Mr. And Mrs. Thomas sitting with
a group of other people. Deciding to lesson in for a bit to see how she felt about Sue
and Jack getting married.
“Mom I think you have it all wrong Sue would not do something like that just to get
further into her Job at the FBI” Mark said as he shook his head at her thought of Sue
and Jack getting married.
“Carla how could you think of your daughter like that” John shocked at her admitting
of Sue and Jack getting married.
“But what could be making Sue and Jack get married so fast then other then ether
she is having Jacks child or something she cant tell us” Carla said as she adjusted
her coat.
Dewberry deciding she had enough of this popped out to go and see her friend
maybe she could explain more on Sue and her mothers relationship.
(Sue and Jack and the gang)
Watching the game was fun then pulling out the charades board turned it into a time
that Sue or Jack would never forget pulling out sleeping bags, pillows and a night
light for Sue, Troy and Amanda everyone settled down for a good nights sleep
because tomorrow was going to prove to be a day of busy that no one will for get.

(North Pole)
Returning back to the North Pole was easy and home for Dewberry but the only thing
on her mind was how complicated this assignment was for her and how heart
braking. So many wishes she wanted to grant for Sue and yet so little magic she
had. So the only thing she could do was go and see the big jolly man him self and
ask for more magic.
Heading to his office she could hear the, holiday music he was playing all year long
he played it but when the season for it came no matter how tuff the day was Santa’s
music always brought a smile to an elf’s eye. Knocking lightly and waiting for Santa’s
jolly reply to come in Dewberry knew that she came to the write man.
“Santa I don’t think I have enough magic to help Sue, so much has happened that
magic could change” Dewberry said looking at Santa.
“Dewberry our job is to grant some extra joy in the holiday season not to play God,
remember a little magic goes a long way” Santa said as he looked over his list.
“Oh and Dewberry when someone dies they are never gone there spirit is always
looking out for us, and when I start something new I always like to start at the
beginning” Santa said with a twinkle in his eye.
“Thank You Santa” Dewberry said as she left Santa’s office and headed strait for the
Library of People to start at the beginning the beginning of Sue Thomas’s Story.
(Day be for the Wedding/Christmas’s December 24)
Waking up early was the start of the day with a group of grumpy men and no hot
water thanks to Myles.
“OK guys the girls and I are going for our final dress fittings and some last minute
pick ups then before come home we will be drop our dresses off and meet you at the
church for the rehearsal/ and rehearsal dinner” Sue said as she grabbed her bags
and turn around to face the grump men “Don’t forget your final fitting and the pick up
of your tuxes is today” Sue signed with the effuses on the tuxes as the girls left.
“UHH I hate wedding especially the early wake up,” Bobby signed and said as he
worked on his third cup of coffee.
“I am the one getting married shouldn’t I be the one complaining” Jack said as he
looked at his best man and shook his head as he went to check the shower to see if
the hot water tank had refilled it’s self back up yet.

Reading Sues story was hard she could see the pain that was always around her
from being a out cast in school to her best friend Judy dying in a car crash, and her
Grandma Thomas passing away when Sue was just a child. But one thing stood out in
her mind was what Santa said to her that they even though someone has died their
spirit lives on.
“Maybe it just may work” Dewberry said to her self as she decided that she had
found enough information to help her grant Sue some Extra Holiday Joy.
“Now all I have to do see if I can find them” Dewberry said as she popped out and
popped in on Sues final fitting.
Standing in the corner she closed her eyes and lessoned to the conversation that was
going on around her and found two voices that didn’t belong to anyone of Sues
friends opening her eyes she found just the two she needed to talk to and they both
were standing along side Sue.
“Hello Dewberry we knew you were coming” Grandma Thomas said as she stood
along side Sue as she looked at her self in the mirror feeling happy about the dress
she picked.
“I need help on how to grant Sues wishes,” Dewberry said as she watched the friend
and grandmother attend to Sue.
“What wishes do you want to grant” Judy said as she watched her best friend pin her
vale into place.
“Sue wants her mother to be at the wedding but I have a feeling that Mrs. Thomas
doesn’t want to be at the wedding” Dewberry said as she watched with Joy to see the
happiness in Sue.
“Carla Thomas is a stubborn woman and she does not always know what is best for
Sue she may not agree with this union but I full heartedly give my blessing on this
marriage, Dewberry no amount of holiday magic will ever fix the rift between Sue
and Carla but it can be the start to healing this family before the next generation
starts to come about” Grandma Thomas said as she looked at Sue.
“What can I do,” Dewberry said eager to help.
“Sue and Jack both wrote letters to Sues mom and dad each in-depth about how they
feel for one another, Sue never mailed them feeling that it would start her mother
would criticize her for her feelings for Jack, Sue put them in a shoe box up on her
shelf in the closet take them to Carla she needs to read them” Grandma Thomas said
as she returned to easing Sues worries.
Nodding and excited Dewberry left Sue’s family and friends to go and find the letters
to send to bring them to Sues mother.
“Letters, Letters,” Dewberry said to her self as she popped into Sues bedroom,
carefully looking around for any sign of people Dewberry made her self visible.
Opening the first set of closets she noticed it was full of men’s clothing Suits, Suits
and More Suits “Jack you need to update your wore robe” Dewberry said as she
closed the closet.
Walking over to the other closet and opening it up she found a variety of women’s
clothing then looking up her eyes nearly popped out of there sockets.
“IN A SHOE BOX SHE SAID IN A SHOE BOX SUE HAS HUNDREDS OF SHOE BOXES”
Dewberry shouted.
Floating up to the top she read them and peeked into the box, red heals, black heals,
blue heals, red flats, blue flats, black flats, sneaker, sneaker, sneaker, sneaker,
sneaker” Dewberry said as she went up and down each box and peeked inside of
them a couple of them looked like Levi had them for lunch deciding to give the dog a
little bit of a holiday brake Dewberry blew a pinch of magic over them mending all of
the ones Levi snacked on. “Well that fixes what the dog did making Sue have more
pairs of shoes and keeping the dog out of trouble making the dog and Sue happy”
Dewberry said as she closed the bag back up.
Deciding to keep up the hunt for this shoebox with letters for Sues mom she floated
down ward to the ground looking for it in the back of the closet only to find smelly
worn out shoes in the back.
“And women say the men’s gym locker smells bad they must have never smelled the
inside of a FBI Agent’s closet “Dewberry said as she stuck her head out for a couple
gasps of air only to head back in stumbling further into the back only to trip over a
pair of heals only to land head on to a shoe box with glitter and jewels all over it with
the name SUE THOMAS in big bold letters on the top. Sitting up and fixing herself a
spot Dewberry pulled the box close to her “Well finally I found it” Dewberry said as
she lifted the lid and found right on top the letters Sue never mailed on in her writing
an one in Jacks writing.
Now all I have to do is find a way to give these letters to Mrs. Thomas and get her to
read them. But how??

Popping into the airport where Mrs. Thomas and her family was she could see that
her mood had not changed since she last saw her but her family’s mood was a bit
brighter once they had moved away from her.
“I don’t know what is up with mom ever since Sue told her that she was getting
married to Jack her mood had changed from bearable to unbearable” Mark said
looking at his mother shaking his head.
“Now be nice to your mother, this is her only daughter getting married” John said not
wanting to cause one of the famous Thomas Family Wars to start up again in the
middle of the airport for all to hear.
“Dad I thought it was the father who was not suppose to like his daughter getting
married not the mother” Mark asked amazed at how backwards his family was.
“True it is but I think your mother has over the amount of dislike for Jack for the
both of us and then some” Mr. Thomas said as he shook his head at his wife.
Dewberry laughed at Mr. Thomas comments and decided that the best way to get the
letters to Mrs. Thomas was through her husband. Going to the woman’s Bathroom
and closing the stall Dewberry used some of her elf magic to turn herself into a
woman traveler with a couple of bags to fit the transformation.
With Sues letters in hand and a disguise to fit what she had to do it was time to go
and melt the polar ice caps off of one Carol Thomas and get her mood changed in
time for the wedding.
“Excuse me” Dewberry said looking at Mr. Thomas “I could help but over here that
your last name was Thomas” Dewberry said as she slipped her hand into her pocket.
“Yes that is correct” John said wondering if this woman was one of the guest at Sues
wedding.
“When I was walking I found these two letters had fallen out of your wife’s bag while
at the ticket booth I have been trying to find use I am glad that your plane had not
taken off” Dewberry said as she handed Sues letters to Mr. Thomas.
“Thank you that was so kind of you” John said as he took the letters.
Turning around to get his wifes atention he never noticed the elf disapear.

Dear Mom and Dad,
I know that since I announced that Jack and I were getting married you have
voiced your disagreement clearly. Saying that this is not the way to go about getting
a promotion or trying to get a better standing in the FBI.
But there are many flaws in the thoughts that you have of Jack and I union.
In the four years that I have worked with the FBI the team has done nothing but
support me, even when I thought about taking a job promotion that would have had
me briefing members of congress in New York. Everyone stood by me, in the end I
chose to stay.
I chose to stay because this team became not only my teammates but my family
also. D has always been the father of the group, Myles the crazy uncle that no body
wants to talk about, Bobby a big brother who stands by me and supports me when
Jack is in his over protective mode, Lucy and Tara the sister’s that I have always
wanted. Then there is Jack the man who I have always prayed to god to for him to
help me fine the right man and then he did by giving me Jack.
Tell me mom where is there room in this family for undermined ways in trying to get
a better promotion or even a better standing with in the FBI because in this team
there is no better standing because we are already the best there is with in the FBI.
Mom I love Jack and I would vary much love to have you at my wedding but I can’t
have you there putting down this union between Jack and my self, Jack is my family,
this team is my family maybe not by blood, but by the love and support they have
given me for the past 4 years that I have been with them.
You, daddy, Mark and Chris are my blood family and I would love to see on the day
that I get married my two family getting together and celebrating Jack and my
marriage but if it comes down to with everyone being comfortable then I would have
no other choice then to say to stay in Ohio.
Mom you have been there for me all of my life guiding me on what to do and how to
do things but now it is my turn to say Mom its time to let go and pray to god that I
keep on making the right choices in life, pray that god keeps me in his arms and
holds me even tighter every time Jack and my self have to go after a bad guy.
Mom Jack is my choice and he is the right choice for me, I love him mom.
Love your daughter
Sue.

Dear Mr. And Mrs. Thomas.
As you know my name is Jack Hudson and I was the one who asked your
daughter for her hand in Marriage.
In the past I have been called a heart breaker or a guy who is nothing but a big flirt
who is afraid of commitment. In many was that was true and in lots of other ways
they weren’t.
In many was I was lost in trying to find the right woman for my self, in many was I
was looking at the physical appearance, and standing by what I know in many cases
trying to make things work with Alie when there was noting to work out anymore.
Alie in truth was my first love and when she would come back into my life I would get
lost in my search for the right person.
Then Sue came into my life one look into her eyes and I became lost and intrigued
by something Sue had that no other woman I had ever dated. Sue had this inner
beauty that shined on the inside out. But there was something always holding me
back at work with the rules about inner unit dating, Alie coming back into my life,
Sue dating someone. Then slowly the rules were changed, Alie left, and Sue was no
longer dating anyone but yet I was still to scared to say something.
Then Sue was offered that Job placement in New York and finely I ran out of excuses
because what scared me the most was that I would have nothing but my job to wake
up every morning, no more Sue, no more Levi to see and no more excuses to go
and have dinner with her.
Then Sue surprised me the most when I found out that she was staying in DC, she
took a risk and stood and then I knew I needed to start taking risk and stop playing
it easy for once. That night I told her how I felt, that I love her and since then we
have grown together as a couple and soon as husband and wife.
I know you probably have lots of questions on what about children and Sue is deaf
what happens if we have a child who is deaf or how do we plan on working around
Sues deafness. Well I can’t answer all of them only time can but I can promise to
always love honor and respect Sue and love any child we may have with my whole
heart hearing or not. Sue is my better half, the half of me that was missing for many
years. I don’t deserve Sue god knows I don’t but he has given me this gift that I plan
on spending the rest of my life earning the right to call my self her husband and the
father of her children.
Thank you,
Sincerely
Jackson Samuel Hudson

After reading the letter and some tear shedding Mrs. Thomas looked around at her
family all with the same expression on there faces Sue had grown up into a beautiful,
strong, woman who was now marring the man of her prayers that god had granted
her.
“She has grown up, and has found a man who loves her so much” Mrs. Thomas said
as she folded up the letters.
“Yes she has” Mr. Thomas said as he held his wife and looked over at his son, “Well
what do you think of him now Mark” Mr. Tomas said waiting for a response from his
son. “Well I am not going to give in that easy but I will say that letter of his has given
him some props in my book, he just wont get tortured by me that much but we have
to wait for the final ruling from Chris to make it official in the big brothers book” Mark
said as he looked at his father with a smile on his face.
“Lets just hope that Chris made it to DC so Sue could at least have another bother
there” John Thomas said as he continued to comfort his wife as the shock wore off of
how grown up there daughter had become.
Watching in the corner Dewberry wiped away the rest of her tears from lessoning to
the words Jack and Sue had written, all the words written on that paper came from
the heart an spoke truth to how much they loved each other.
“Well now that is done we have to go and see about there plane and where on earth
is the other brother” Dewberry said as she popped over to the check in counter.
“Chris Thomas, Chris, Christopher Thomas” Dewberry thought out loud as she typed
in his name looking down the names for the right one and clicked on it “Christopher
Thomas Flight 99 to DC Snowed in at the New York air port transfer to the New York
flight 219 to DC at 6am” Dewberry read hmmm Dewberry thought as she went
through the flight list for December 24 day plan.
Typing in the Thomas Last name and pulled up the group of Thomas John, Mark, and
Carla Thomas flight plan and did a search that would get them to DC on December
25 at 6am three hours early and in plenty of time to get to Sues and Jacks wedding.
Ducking underneath the counter and using a little of elf magic she turned her self into
a Airport Desk Clerk standing up as she straitened up her clothes she looked over at
the overhead mic and called out the Thomas name “Would John, Mark and Carla
Thomas destination DC come to Clerk desk 3 Please” Dewberry said as she repeated
it twice.
Not having to wait long Mr. And Mrs. Thomas came up with Mark in the back caring
their bags.
“We were paged we are the Thomas destination DC” Mr. Thomas said for his wife
while she tried to calm down a bit more from after reading the letters Jack and Sue
had sent them.
“I have some good new for you we have just found a flight that is leave in about two
hours from this gate that is heading to DC” Dewberry said in a happy chipper
manner that only a elf can have.
“Oh my god that is wonder full news what time will we be landing in DC” Mrs. Thomas
said as she clapped her hands together.
“You will be landing in DC at 6am and there is another Thomas flying to DC right now
he is stuck in New York but his plane will also be landing in DC at 6am gate 13 and
you will be landing at gate 12” Dewberry said as she handed them there tickets and
wished them a happy trip to DC.
Watching as the Thomas left for their seat Dewberry disappeared as she headed
towards DC to Jack and Sue.
Popping in Dewberry could see Grandma Thomas and Judy standing next to Sue,
walking over and staying quiet Dewberry alerted them to her presence “I did it”
Dewberry said happily. “We know and we are so proud of you” Judy said happy that
her friend was going to get the wedding of her dreams.
“Now all we have to do is work out a couple of things so that Jack and Sue can leave
three hours before midnight” Grandma Thomas said with joy in her eyes a she
looked to the future with happiness in it for Sue and Jack.
“Why three hours” Judy said as she looked at Grandma Thomas “Just incase all of
the excitement makes Jack a little early then Sue” Grandma Thomas said with red
cheeks. “Oh my” Judy said blushing as Dewberry covered her ears not wanting to
hear anymore of that conversation.
“Cant we just give him some wine to make him relax” Judy said wanting to give her
best friend the honeymoon of her dreams. “Well that can have a good affect or a
vary bad effect on Jack or really any man he ether could relax too much that would
make it a vary un-fruitful night for Sue and Jack or a fruitful night” Grandma Thomas
said as she explained the risks.
“Ok I am sticking to them leaving three hours early” Judy and Dewberry said after
hearing everything they have never wanted to know about a honeymoon night.
Settling down after that education class of a man and a woman Dewberry watched
Sue and the rest of the group practice for the wedding, Bobby walked Sue down the
isle and Jack stood at the end of the isle waiting for Sue as the Father went over
everything that would be said that day checking to see if there were any changes
that they would like to make to what will be said.
“Umm nope I think we covered everything,” Jack said as he kissed Sue on the lips.
“WO WO WO, use two are not married yet this is just the rehearsal tomorrow save
some of the kissing for then” Father John said as the interrupter kept up with what
was being said between Jack, Sue and Father John looking at Jack and Sue making
them blush 10 shades of red and the room erupted into laughter.
After the rehearsal everyone went out for Pizza heading over to the Brick Pizza
where everyone enjoyed pizza and busting on Jack for not springing for a fancy
place to go and have dinner at.
That night everyone slept due to all the work that had to be done before the wedding
tomorrow.
(WEDDING DAY 0 HOUR)
“I AM GETTING MARRIED TO JACK HUDSON” Sue shouted out at the top of
her lungs early in the morning waking up everyone but Amanda, Levi took care of
that causing a stampede into Sues old bedroom over at Lucy’s.
“Well good morning” Lucy signed and said as she saw how happy Sue was, “Did I
wake everyone up” Sue signed and spoke looking at Amanda who was yawning
“Nope Levi woke me up and I just followed Lucy, Tara and Donna on in” Amanda
signed as she looked at everyone’s face to see they were calming down from there
early morning sprint into Sue’s old room.
“Well lets get ready because we only have 4 hours to get ready” Tara signed and
said taking her place as Timekeeper
(Bobby’s Place)
“I AM GETTING MARRIED TO SUE TODAY” ” Jack shouted at the top of his
lungs followed by a wave of pillows hitting him in the face.
“We know now go back to sleep” Bobby said in an angry Ausie tone.
“Shout that one more time and Sue will have to deal with a forced mute for a
husband” Myles said as he decked him in the head with a pillow.
“Do I look like a person who gets much sleep because I don’t now go back to sleep,
God I wish I had Troy and Charlie’s ears” D said as he put the pillow over his head.
“WOWbunch of grumpy wedding people” Jack said before he was interrupted
by another wave of pillows and a loud“SHUT UP”from Myles, Bobby and D.
Deciding on leaving his Grooms men alone Jack got up and started to get ready all
on his own. “I am not going to be the kind of Groom late for his wedding” Jack said
to himself as he left the grumpy men to sleep and headed for a shower before Myles
takes up all of the hot water.
(Lucy’s)
3 and a half hours later, 4 cans of hair spray, 5 different tones of cover up, one lost
vale and two lost flower arrangements and with everything lost now found everyone
was ready to head to the church.
“Oh and one more thing Merry Christmas” Sue said as she picked up her train and
headed out to the limo.
“She couldn’t shout that out early on,” Judy said still not quite over the shock of Sue
shouting at the top of her lungs.
Dewberry shaking her head over the memory and the ear ache that Sue gave them
but popping up and shouting at the top of her lungs that she was getting married to
Jack today. Deciding that she would go and check up on Sue’s parents then popping
over to the church to see the wedding.
(The Thomas Family)
Just like they were told the plane took of on time and landed at the airport just 3
hours before the wedding, and just as they were told Chris was coming off of his
plane and claming his bags when they found him.
“Chris” Mrs. Thomas cried out as she saw him and hugged him. Hugging everyone
and sharing stories about what happened to cause them to be so late getting to DC.
“We got snowed in at the Ohio airport,” Mr. Thomas said as he grabbed his bags of
the luggage belt.
Grabbing everything that they needed the Thomas’s rushed to grab a cab and check
in at a hotel so they could get ready for the wedding.
(Church)
The ride to the church was smooth with no problems, carefully getting out and
heading into the bridal room to wait for her turn to come out and head down the isle
to Jack.
“You ok Sue” Lucy signed wondering what could be bothering her.
“I wish my mom and dad were here but I am happy that Bobby is walking me down
the isle, by the way where is he” Sue signed looking at Lucy.
“I don’t know I will go and check for you” Lucy signed and turn her head “IF THAT
AUSIE AGENT IS LATE I AM GOING TO SEND HIM BACK TO AUSTRALIA THE HARD
WAY” Lucy yelled to her self wondering where the men were.
Finally after an hour of calling and searching Jack and the Grooms men were at the
church.
“I was not late they are the ones that are late” Jack said as he saw Lucy fuming from
her ears.
“Is that true Troy” Lucy signed to Tory before she chewed Bobby and Jacks head off.
“Yes but it was mainly Myles fault he is worse then a woman using the bathroom”
Troy signed to Lucy telling her how he took forever getting ready in the bathroom.
“MYLES LEALAND THE THRID” Lucy shouted grabbing Myles by the ear giving
him an ear full that made all of the men but Troy cringe at what she was treating. “I
am so glad I can’t hear” Troy signed to the guys.
“By the way Troy can I brow your ears” D signed in a pleading way “Nope” Troy
signed back to D “Why not” D signed giving a disappointed look “Because it is days
like this when Lucy is mad and shouting that I am glad that I cant hear” Troy signed
making everyone laugh.
“Well if we don’t want her shouting anymore then we better get inside and Jack down
the Isle before he run down the isle” D signed. Just as they were about to head in a
cab pulled up with the Thomas’s jumping out before it even stopped “Are we to late”
Mrs. Thomas said as she looked at Jack who smiled and said no both him and Mrs.
Thomas walked in as Jack took his place and Mrs. Thomas took her seat.
“Jackson Samuel Hudson I taught you better in how to tie a tie” Mrs. Hudson said as
she quickly stood up and fixed his tie and sat back down.
“I know I have two boys and my husband I always have to fix their tie I am Carla
Thomas” Mrs. Thomas said as she introduced her self to Mrs. Hudson.
(The Ceremony)
The music filled the church as the doors opened and Amanda and Togo walked out
down the isle followed by Myles and Lucy, D and Donna, Tara and Troy once
reaching the end of the isle the couples separated and stood at there spots waiting
for the grand wedding march to start.
(Sue in the back)
“Are you ready love?” Bobby said as he waited for the music to start. “Yes” Sue
nodded “I don’t quite think so” Bobby signed as he pointed to her side to show her
where to look.
“Daddy” Sue said as she hugged her father “ Bobby and I are both giving you away
get ready” John Thomas Signed getting Sue to look forward and ready to move.
Turning to Levi “Up” Sue said as he picked up the end of her train like she taught him
to the group stepped forward and started to make there way down the isle towards
Jack with Levi trailing with part of Sues train in his mouth.
Walking down the isle Sue could see the lips of everyone saying how beautiful she
was or how cute that Levi was in the wedding but none of that mattered looking a
head she could see Jack and the smile on his face that said it all.
For a short walk that it felt like when they practiced it felt like forever to get to the
end of the isle. Once there just like rehearsal Father John and the interrupter asked
“Who gives this woman away to be married to this man” and unlike yesterday Bobby
and her father said they both do lifting up her vale only to give her a kiss on the
cheek her father placed it back down and took his seat next to his wife, Bobby lifted
up her vale and gave her a kiss and told her if Jack ever stepped out of line don’t
hesitate to call him he is only a desk away and laying her vale back down, Bobby
took his place as best man.
The ceremony went by in a blur only knowing when they had to talk thanks to the
interrupter for Sue and Bobby pinching Jack in the side whenever he needed to
speak.
Finally the rings were exchanged and one more prayer was said and Father John
said, “You may kiss your Bride” to a happy hungry to kiss Sue Jack.
“It is with great pleasure to introduce on this Christmas day Mr. and Mrs. Jackson
Hudson” Father John said with an erupting crowd.
(Dinner)
“It is with great pleasure to introduce on this Christmas day Mr. and Mrs. Jackson
Hudson,” the DJ announcer with an interrupter said by his side over the loud
speaker.
With the announcement made Jack guided Sue into the banquet hall and into the
center where a chair and mic waited for them. Guiding Sue into the chair with a
puzzled face on her Jack signed, “This is for you” as he turned to the her side so the
crowd could see him as he spoke but also Sue.
“First I would like to say Thank you all for coming out today to witness Sue and my
self joining our lives together as one, Everyone who works with Sue and my self me
knows this story so bare with me” Jack said as the interrupter signed as Jack
received a bunch of chuckles and a Oh god from Myles and then a loud ow was heard
as Lucy elbowed Myles in the ribs. “Four years ago this beautiful spit fire burstted into
my den telling me her name and that she was my new special project. In a way she
did become my new special project, the special project was that I wanted to get to
know her and one day marry her so I could spend the rest of my life with her” Jack
said as he looked over to Sue with tears starting to stream down his face “Sue you
are my angel the one I love no one else matters to me as much as you do. Everyday
I wake up hoping to hear your sweet words that you love me, now I being married to
you the only thing that matters to me is showing you how much I love you so as our
first dace I am going to sign to you just how much I love you, The song is from Faith
Hill and Tim McGraw “Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me” Jack said as the DJ
started to play the song.
Once the Lyrics started to play Jacks hands started to move
If I could win your heart
If you'd let me in your heart
I'd be so happy, baby
Just for these arms to be
Holding you close to me
There's nothing in this world I won't try
No limit to what I'd do to make you mine, 'cause
While Jack was signing Dewberry was watching over in the sidelines with tears
streaming down her face like the rest of the crowd who was watching this display of
true love and affection. “But there is only one more thing that could make this even
better” Dewberry said as she blew a little more magic into the air creating a screen
that appeared to come down from the ceiling playing clips of Jack and Sue over the
years.
I'd climb right up to the sky
I'd take down the stars
Just to be in your arms, baby
I'd go and capture the moon
That's what I would do
Just to hear you say that you love me
Just to hear you say that you love me
(Memory)
“Sue are you ok,” Jack signed as he held her while she cried in his arms. Fading out
and into the next memory Jack and Sue were laying on Jacks bed with a case all
spread out on the bed with a sudden Levi bounding onto the bed sending there case
work papers every where just only trying to let Sue know that there was some one
was at Jacks door.
“Door” Jack signed to Sue.
If I could taste your kiss
There'd be no sweeter gift
Heaven could offer baby
Oh, baby
I want to be the one
I want to be the one
Living to give you love
I'd walk across this world just to be
Close to you 'cause I want you close to me, yeah
(Memory)
“Jack, Jack” as Sue held him while he had his heart attack, fading out as you could
see Jack and Sue in a deep kiss being startled with the group saying “Caught yeah”
I'd climb right up to the sky
I'd take down the stars
Just to be in your arms, baby
I'd go and capture the moon
That's what I would do
Just to hear you say that you love me
Just to hear you say that you love me
For the rest of your life
For the rest of your life
Love me for the rest of all time
Oh baby, baby
Just say the word
And I'll give you my world
There's nothing I won't do
Baby, just to be with you
I'd climb right up to the sky
I'd take down the stars
Just to be in your arms, baby
I'd go and capture the moon
That's what I would do
Just to hear you say that you love me
Just to hear you say that you love me
Just to hear you say that you love me, baby
Just to hear you say that you love me
Oh, I need to hear you say that you love me, baby
Just to hear you say that you love me
Just say you love me
Just say you need me
Just to hear you say that you love me
Many more memories played and as the music started to end the memories ended
and Jack turned to see a blubbering tear ridden crowd applauding him and Sues love.
Turning back to Sue the only thing that came to his mind to say was “Merry
Christmas Mrs. Hudson” Jack signed “Merry Christmas Mr. Hudson” Sue signed.
Watching over in the side lines Dewberry popped over to Grandma Thomas and Judy
“Well they will defiantly be leaving three hours before midnight” Dewberry said after
seeing the memory’s that Judy and Grandma Thomas Played for everyone.
“Umm hmm, Welcome next generation” Grandma Thomas said as she turned and
started to walk with Dewberry and Judy.
“So did you complete you task?” Judy asked Dewberry wondering what extra
Christmas Joy Dewberry was suppose to give.
“I think I did because this couple is vary happy, bye nice to have meet you”
Dewberry said as she faded away.
(North Pole)
“Great Job Dewberry” Santa said as he welcomed Dewberry back.
“I did” Dewberry said as her eyes filled with joy.
“Yes you did, check your magic pouch” Santa said as he watched Dewberry open it
to find it empty.
“But how I used so little” Dewberry asked wondering why all of the magic was gone.
“By re-uniting Sue and her mother you gave Sue the greatest Christmas gift ever
and that is what the season is all about” Santa said as he headed for he slay.
“Merry Christmas” Santa shouted to the entire world to hear.

Wow, I had lots to catch up on!

This smilie is getting lots of work out of me tonight! Loved all the little details and Dewberry certainly pulled it all off, though she had to work her little elf-fingers to the bone to get it done in time!

I had a lot to catch up on, and all I can say: beautiful! I loved the way you had Dewberry getting that little bit extra into the wedding, by providing the screen and the memories, that were played on it! I guess the Thomas family is now completely happy with their new son/brother!

Beautiful ending. Nice touch for Bobby and her dad to share the responsabilities. And very happy for mom and daughter.

I just finished reading of your story and I have to tell you.... your story filled my heart up by peace of mind, happiness and love.... I almost started to believe in Santa and elves.... and I have to point out we have no Santa and elves in my country....
Great story, thanks for sharing!!!!!
