I would just like to say, I did get the Mary Sue joke and it had me sitting here grinning like an idiot.

If I were to quote the parts that I liked I would have to quote the whole tale. You had me absolutely falling off my chair with the condom tree. I could just see how embarrassing that would be for Bobby!! Jack and Myles were hilarious!!

And, I love the ending - real life taking over to fill the places his dream life used to be!!

Loved the explanation about the 'tree' and Bobby's need to see things right by Stanley. His chat with Mary Sue had me in fits, cuz I SO totally got it.

For a short story, it was an excellent outing. Sweet, funny (love your humor, btw) and just the perfect piece to read on V-D morning.
