Bobby frowned "Mom it's for you" he was puzzled now.

"Robert Manning i thought you learnt a long time ago that you can't marry your mom...Now im telling you this engagement ring isnt meant for me" at this point Bobby's mom burst into a fit of laughter.

Bobby stood there shocked. if his mom had Tara's ring then the earring were in his pocket. "Oh no" he groaned covering hi sface with his hand.

"Dont worry son" said his dad having taken over the phone call as his wife was in fits of laughter still. "Do you want me to drop the ring to you tommorrow morning?"

"Dad i need it now i was about to do it when you rang" Bobby groaned

"Oh well in that case give me ten minutes and i'll have it there so you can propose to the lucky lady...... Is it Tara?"

Bobby laughed, "How did you know"

"Well you do talk about her alot and your mom said it was probably her" his dad chuckled.

"I'll see you in ten dad... Bye love ya" Bobby hung up the phone now all he had to do was find a away to keep Tara occupied for ten minutes or so. He grinned at the thought that popped into his head.

Bobby pulled back and gasped for air. He instantly felt the cool air hit his chest and looked down in wonder. Now when did that happen! Half of the buttons of his shirt were undone. He looked at Tara and grinned noting that her blouse had definatly been undone as well as she was busy doing them up. Bobby did the buttons of his shirt up and had just finished the last button when there was a knock at the door.

"Be right back luv" he told Tara and went to answer the door.

It can be Darcy. Let her see first hand what she threw away! I think Bobby will know exactly how to handle Miss D'Angelo! His heart now belongs to Tara......

IT could be her; Tara could show the confidence she has in their relationship, but standing strong; of course letting the fear in after she leaves so Bobby could comfort her. Or Darcy could show up after he proposes and by then its too late. He has claimed the one he loves )

He watched as the tears fell silently down her cheeks "I'm happy for you both Bobby I really hope it works out." with that she turned and walked to her car. As she drove off his parents arrived.

I can't believe I was right with it being Darcy at the door! At least she now knows that there is no room in Bobby's life for her and we can all move on with Bobby, Tara and a certain little ring that's winging its way towards Tara!

okay this is just a quick post. cant sleep and the pain killers i took are making me slightly drowzy, so if this doesnt make any sense blame the tablets as they had weird effects on me last time aswell but whats a girl to do lol.

"Dad!" Bobby ran to the car and hugged his father as he got out.

"Here ya go son" he said as he handed his son the box.

Bobby smiled as he opened the box and saw Tara's ring sat comfortably in it. "Thanks dad". Bobby got the box with his mom's earrings in out of his pocket and handed it to his dad.

His dad checked the box and smiled at his son. This man had come such a long way from the little boy he had first met that was untrusting of men, never knowing whether they would out on him and his mom like his biological father had. "She'll love these son and good luck. you've become a fine man."

Bobby wiped at the tear crawling down his cheek and smiled at his dad saying thankyou. The two men hugged and said there goodbyes.

Ok i read through to see if it made sense and it does to me lol but if it doesnt then just point out what needs correcting and ill do it lol

I can't believe it was Darcy either. Thank goodness she went away graciously. And now that he has the ring....
