So spring has come everyone is excited. But our focus is on a team inside the hoover building, particularly Jack Hudson's team.

The whole team is eager for spring, all the wonderful green grass and colorful flowers, the warmth of the sun, and most of all surveillance wouldn't be as hard as when there was snow around.

Lucy has been planning for this all winter, spring cleaning. and also a little project of herself, to get Jack to help Sue and her and at the end leave them alone together. she was so excited. " Ok! she thought " it won't be long now!" she was practically jumping with glee.

Unfortunately when she arrived at the office she learned that Jack was sent to an undercover assignment and might not get back another week.

Though she was disappointed she still looked forward to spring cleaning, growing up it was something she enjoyed doing with family. but she was eager for this year's for one especially particular reason........................

Note: since I live in the philippines and we do not have 4 seasons I have never experience spring before, but I promise to do my best writing this story and let my imagination show me spring. After all imagination is an author's best weapon right?

I think it's really challenge for you to describe spring... I am really curious but I think if you will wrap the spring to the love you will describe it perfectly!

Your sooooooooo lucky! No pollen, no hayfever, no odd ball days where you start out in three layers (cuz its so cold) and hope you make it home before you have to take them all off (cuz its so hot). Some people have all the brakes.

rofl, so...all the bad things about spring, eh? for us, it's allergies, and yucky, nasty, bleargh-y pine-tree pollen! It covers EVERYTING with a yellow haze!!

BUT!!!

The crepe myrtles and ornamental pear trees bloom, as do the camellias, and the oak trees are so pretty when they bud out in early spring! OOH! and if you haven't seen a field of thousands upon thousands of blueberry plants blooming in mid spring, you are missing out!

Great start R.A. Spring is a time of new beginnings after a cold winter season, depending on where you live, it is time for new life. Flowers bloom, trees bud with new leaves, grass begins to grow. There is a new excitement in the air. I guess it makes us want to throw out the old, or give it away and clean up and start fresh. As we watch the birds nesting and new life, love is in the air. Looking forward to more of your story.

kidbrother2 well I am sorry but I have to disagree, here in the Philippines it's really hot all year round, ofcourse there are instances when there's cool wind but sun shines all year round except when it rains, and also since I was little I've always wanted to experience snow. here's a long post hope you enjoy!

Spring, love, romance, Life!death.

Lucy and sue made a deal. After both had finished cleaning the apartment,well they saved the best for last,sue and lucy changed place, sue cleans lucy's room and vice versa. whatever they find they are allowed to use,read, listen,etc.

lucy was getting tired, sue's room was pretty neat and she has nothing to hide till she opened her closet, seeing mountains of shoe boxes. That's odd! she thought, I didn't know sue had this many shoe boxes, she reached out for one, she thought the least she could do is try them on.

But she was surprised on what she found, for when she opened it she gasped, her face not even properly describing how she felt, her eyes widened,her mouth left open, she couldn't speak for a while.


A few minutes past,sue was wondering how lucy was doing, she's been there for an hour! she exclaimed. and I thought my room was neat.


Then she went inside her room, seeing lucy she called. Oh! hi sue, you're done, she replied casually, smiling.





At the bullpen:


Lucy: May I please have everyone's attention? since for the past few seasons tara had been thinking up of ways for us to celebrate I thought this easter why not me! so
I have a challenge for you guys, I will be hiding several easter eggs with clues inside, and the one who finds the most eggs wins.

Bobby: what's our prize?

Lucy: you'll find out sooner or later!

Bobby: oh come on sheila please, or no one will participate. pouting but humor not leaving his face.

Lucy: I think your speaking for yourself. laughing at how childish he can be.

Bobby: I still want to know our prize! he declared knowingly.

Lucy: ok,ok! Mr.Crash, the winner gets the letters, and can read them before all of us on easter including Jack.

Bobby: and can I ask why this is a prize!!!????????

Lucy: Bobby! I thought you were a fan of surprises?

Bobby: ok then you win but this whether be worth it.

Believe me guys it will, it will! lucy thought sneakily. smiling to herself, now to plot the whole scene.

The week lasted forever, all of lucy's clues were real brain scratchers, even tara had a hard time. but surprisingly the winner found it easy!

In the solitude of home,it felt cozy but still ............ I don't know what to do this is just wrong no one can know this I can't do it. how is it really, why should I have to do this, maybe I should or maybe not. what really! what can I do, oh no!!!!!!!! no no no. I can do this, I should. Maybe it would be good.


though not sure. chance had to be taken!


Easter:

The team were meeting Jack at the airport, when he got off they noticed that he was with a woman,Tall, blonde,pretty ,tan, oversized jewelry and too much make up,

He seemed happy, this shot down sue's spirits but as jack approached them she left,

I see you found a live one in paris. Bobby commented, obviously pist off by his friend's intellect.

who? olivia, no she's just a new acquaintance. he said with a shrug.

oh yeah! well if you see yourself so close to a friend I guess you could call it that. bobby disagreed.

what are you talking about, Jack said getting lost.


well mate didn't you see how close she stayed to you and those extra smiles, and ofcourse those extra effort to try and kiss you! but enough about you, let's go to service!

After church service, they all headed to Jack's, for the `letters'. and the conversation was like this:

Lucy: ok! guys we're driving off to sparky's place!

Jack: what why my house!

Lucy: cause while you were making out with the french ladies, we were actually doing paper"work".

Jack: why lucy, do you think I would cheat on french ladies, obviously sure where she was going with this and simply playing along.

Lucy: well......... without tara and myself there to help you not stare I am sure you were a bit naughty!

Jack: ok! then but remember you guys owe me an explanation!

walking away but lucy and the others were still pestering him.( with the exception of sue)


Myles: so you do admit having a relationship abroad! amazing!!!



Bobby: don't be ashamed mate I am sure it won't be on your report!


He was trying hard to avoid all the remarks, but all he could really think about was how sue was unusually quiet!

Jack: ok guys, now can you tell me what this is all about?

Note: I am sorry I really meant for this to be a long post but something got in the way, so I'll post another day. But I don't think I can for this week caus e it's we're having our periodical tests.( if you don't[I]know what that is I think for you guys it's midterm) anyway I need to study hard not just to graduate but also get an honor so anyway don't worry there will eventually be a happy ending but before then I advise you guys to be patient and don't get angry at me bec. there might be a lot of heartbreaks!

Hey guys! I know I said you'll have to wait a week, but I just finished all my english exams this morning and for thurs. and Fri. i t will be our chinese test so I don't have as much problem like english. So I decided to post also cause my mom allowed me!


As lucy explained everything to jack everyone was eagerly waiting, except for the winner............. Sue!

As she entered the room she had a smile plastered on her face, Jack could tell something was wrong but decided to stay quiet because she didn't seem to want anyone to know.


She started to read the first letter:

crying, tears came rolling down, they didn't stop. she couldn't take it, she thought she could do it but no she still wasn't over it!


Jack was coming down the stairs, quickly- while the rest of the team were in his apartment still not sure what to do- he saw her, right there, she was curled up, crying- he wasn't sure what to say.

Olivia was standing near the doorway, seeing Jack she approached him.

Jack, hey! kissing him.

He was surprised, olivia! wait what are you doing here?


Came to check on you! I mean if we are to pursue a relationship, well.............


Hold on there, what relationship, olivia we're only friends. trying to convince her.


she looked disappointed but didn't push further, oh well! and you were cute too!


Atleast she doesn't push. he sighed.


Nearing sue, he tried to rehearse what to say.



Tapping her shoulder lightly,"Sue" he whispered softly, she looked up at him with those beautiful pair of hazel. she tried to smile but ended up with tears instead, she wasn't sure what to feel: regret, sadness, shame, embarrassment, anger,loneliness, relieved, happy or even contended. Jack was staring at her those beautiful brown eyes, he reminded her of him- the one true love she had! or maybe not, at this point she wasn't sure of anything.


Jack bent down to her, looking at her, not sure what to say or do. nothing else can matter but her, though he wasn't sure what to do just to make her smile.


Collecting all the courage and confidence that he could.


Jack: Sue, I want you to know I'm here for you whatever happens I would never leave your side. Please would you tell me what the matter is, I hate seeing you sad like this, please? he begged showing those puppy eyes of his.


Sue:I........ Jack, if I tell you would you promise not to laugh or tell anyone. trust visible in her eyes.


Jack: I promise! his eyes were sparkling, shining even. he seemed to be happy, she couldn't understand why!


Sue: Ten years ago, when I was in highschool my life was totally well, socialess.....


Then one day, I saw a note inside my locker. it seemed unusual for who would even care to know my locker!

As I opened it, I was surprised to find a love note, saying he thinks I'm wonderful, that he's in love with me. I thought it was a prank but as time proceeded, letters kept coming. then one said that he wanted to get to meet me, asking me where? I thought the library, so it would be safe.

As time proceeded,I started to feel butterflies in my stomach. then dismissal, I headed straight to the library.


I stopped walking, seeing one particular person, he caught my attention.
he smiled at me, waving he motioned for me to sit down, As I sat he began introducing himself.


As we talked I enjoyed his company, I felt comfortable around him.


He asked me out, and since I'm not used to it, I wasn't sure how to react.


I thought it wouldn't do any harm so at the last minute I said yes.


After that we started dating, but it wasn't exactly a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. I Fell in love, for the first time I was happy being with a hearing person-- it was comfortable and he was perfect, I wasn't even sure it was true.

until that day when he asked if we can go steady, I was happy then, fear took over.


I told him I would think it over, weeks past, then one time he sent me a letter saying he's moving somewhere faraway but still waiting for my answer.

I truly did love him more than anyone can imagine, I cared for him! Maybe too much, but I didn't think it was possible for him to like me.


First of all he's: hearing, handsome and cute, he had the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, perfect complexion, great build above all else he was really popular, practically every girl who sees him falls in love!

So I was hesitant, till that last letter, I wanted to say yes but it was too late. Tears were forming in her eyes. she held them back.

Jack tried to comfort her saying, it's all right to cry.


A few tears fell, then she continued, He died after his last letter. He had been ill for some time- cancer- but wasn't sure till when he had, but he wasn't gloomy about it he was still a bright happy person.

Jack: So, you truly were in love with him? he asked gently, his heart breaking in the process.


Sue: y..yyyy..........yes!



His heart about to break, not sure how to stop his own emotions.


Bringing her up,he said, come on I'll bring you home! trying to force a smile, taking her hand, walking her to his car.


As they came to sue's apartment, they had a more lively conversation.

Sue was reaching up for her keys,when Jack was going near her, looking at her closely, eyes locked, his arms touching her face,cupping it into his hands, lips were about to touch, slowly and carefully, almost asking for permission.

Their lips met, touching, maybe for seconds but to him it was hours, it may have been his last but just one more and he was contented, breaking apart, making sure she could read his lips, whispering, "I LOVE YOU!"


She was too stunned to move, he went back to hes car driving away.

By the time she was thinking clearly, she tried to follow him but it was too late.

She sighed in defeat, unsure right now, entering her apartment..................



Bell hey! I've just finished all my test today. Now is the start of summer and well as for acing it. My chinese test probably but english I'm not so confident!

He couldn't sleep the rest of the night, he wasn't sure about what he did, sure he wanted to tell her for so long but after tonight................ Hearing her say she was in love with a guy that has a name like his own( FREAKY, BUT I THINK I KNOW WHO HE IS) he wasn't sure, I know who he is and I know I can't compete with him, even if he is dead!

The day was awkward between sue and jack, while the rest of the team were blind to whatever could have happened, good thing paperwork distracted everyone to making any observations nor asking any questions about Yesterday.

But mostly Jack was so grateful, he never thought he would be happy to be doing paperwork.


What happened last night, he needed a lot of thought on how to explain but he just coulnd't because the truth was there he was in love with her.( And her with a dead guy, great he thought. First I could never compete with "THE JACK HUDSON" -not me- next I could never in a million years ever compete with a perfect guy that has been dead for over 10 years)


What could he do, no one can say shower her with gifts so to defeat your rival! How can it even be possible, it's obvious that he has already stolen her heart long ago. and up till now she seems to belong to him, though he was the generous kind of guy, giving up sue the thought just seems to kill him. Never has someone like her ever been so close and yet so far, she wasn't ordinary nor common, she possesed abilities which only shapes up everything else she is.


Sue has been observing Jack from afar, wondering what he was thinking, thinking about her own life,how it would be if the two of them could be together.

At first she thought she hadn't gone over her first love, But after last night, she realized she had gotten over him three years ago- he still had a special place in her heart and always will be her first love- when she met JACK, and in weird coincidence JACK HUDSON, he reminded me so much on how he used to be with me.

She decided what she needed to know and what she should do( that is after a lot of thinking). He finally decided on what he needed to do and most of all realize, he will make his move tonight or if he waits any longer she might disappear!FOREVER!!!!!!!


Close to quitting time;

jACK was walking toward sue's desk when lucy approached him,what are you doing? what do you mean?

JACK HUDSON, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa, 2 Jack Hudsons?! Freaky.

Awakening to punches, he realize all was a dream, but when he saw he was in the bullpen, he though: maybe not! Looking up he saw lucy hitting him in the arm. Lucy! ow! why are you hitting me? he said monotone.
Lucy: I'm sorry Jack! but you're a really heavy sleeper, I just wanted to let you know that everyone is already out to lunch. And I was wondering what happened tomorrow, I really need to apologize to sue but I don't know how! I am not even sure what I did wrong. she sighed
Jack had been listening intently till the part about sue, then he started daydreaming. Her angel hair, so soft, fragrant,beautiful...... just like her, her eyes so lively and yet so sad... I wish I can bring life to them, to comfort her every time someone has broken her heart or simply hurt her, to be there for her always ....... and forever, by her side, to never leave, be able to see her radiant smile, shining so much more than the sun... brightening everybody's day... including mine. His train of thoughts were interrupted by lucy. So Jack! what should I do? Sounding desperate, that Jack felt guilty for fantacizing, he thought hard for a while remembering, lucy's dilemma was sue. he cleared his throat: Lucy the reason sue ran out was that, Jack Hudson is dead and it brought back awful memories! stopping unto seeing lucy gaped her mouth open. Not me luce! but he was my cousin! incredously but with a sigh of relief she let out a deep breath, then the words struck her: "He is my cousin". does sue know this? he shook his head, she doesn't even know I knew about them, tears came to his eyes. I'm sorry! his face saddened but I think it would be better if you ask sue she could better explain it to you. obviously dismissing the conversation, he went back to his desk, leaving a very puzzled and curious lucy to muse quietly.
As everything lunchbreak ended the hour of rest and concentration was done! but he wasn't ready he couldn't face her. everyone came strolling in as usual, quickly the bullpen was filled with not so eager to be doing paperwork sort of agents. Sue on the other hand was quiet till it was time to go, she was about to rise, then she was stopped by a gentle, forceful hand, seeing Jack she smiled, Hi! he smiled back, Sue! can I drive you home? it didn't come out right,but it was better than nothing. she seemed hesitant at first, soon she accepted. Along the way silence hung over, both were deep in thought, Sue noticed they weren't going to her house, she got Jack's attention, concern in her voice, almost fearful. Jack tried to assure her, Sue I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you but I thought a bit of fresh air might be nice, like a stroll in the park. Right levi! the golden barked, happy he can have exercise,sue agreed.
The 3 of them were walking quietly, levi being restless, sue threw his ball, the dog easily ran after, eagerly he soon disappeared. leaving the 2 humans to mingle, Jack faced sue, looking into her eye, she was so beautiful, The moon lit her features, no matter, light nor dark, she was so gorgeous! Sue, I....I.i..I about last night, she was waiting then interrupted, Jack I know.... You do! he was surprised. Yes, as if in resignation, I know you didn't mean what you said it was sort of reflex and you were trying to make me feel better, and it worked thank you... I know you could never like someone like me, I mean we just come from 2 too different worlds....looking away she continued, don't worry I'm fine now, there's no more problem and again thankyou very much! smiling so brightly, obviously a very stiff fake smile.
He's had enough, no! sue, I meant it, I do.. II.. I do I do love you truthfully... The first time I laid my eyes on you I fell in love I knew you were the one, but was too afraid to try, I wasn't use to rejection... But last night when you opened up, I really wanted to tell you, I needed to show you how I felt, I coudn't take seeing you so miserable anymore, seeing men ask you out so confidently, but I myself being a coward and hiding away myself trying to hide my pain..... YOU...You... y..yo..you are perfect, everything about you is perfect nothing else, you are like no other, I am always contented just to be around you, happiness in my heart comes from you, I love you... and there's no other way to put it, none...none at all. from their closeness she was tingling, and he was nervous, this needed to be just right. Their lips met and locked... a kiss like no other, his arms were around her, promising to protect, her hands laid on his chest, the feeling of static, quite unusual, a bit of grief and sadness but delightful of new experience... it lasted a minute or so, to the 2 it seemed hours... hours of pure blissful joy.
And just for emphasis he signed one more time, " I Love You!" I truly do.... gazing into his warm brown eyes the feeling of security was over her, he was there, there to protect her, there for her, the only one who truly would care, lost into his eyes, whispering in a soft voice, but loud enough for him to hear; " I love you! I love you too......"Jack, I love you!
He was happy, just for her to be there, just because he can see and feel her, just cause.... just cause she was there. Pulling her closer, embracing her, comforting and giving her what she truly deserves... Tears went down.... Tears slowly down his cheeks..... down to her soft hair..... she tried to look up but he held her tightly, hiding his face on her hair.
The couple stood there satisfied for each other's company, one with tears of joy.. while sue Mused; Lucy! thank you.... Thank you... For this. When they pulled apart. Sue with happiness and deep emotion, said; and think all this started with" Spring Cleaning" and an innocent " easter hunt" both smiled. I'm glad Sue and Jack got over the situation and found themselves together in the end, I guess it was weird for Sue to feel the same for two Hudsons, even if they were related...I suppose spring cleaning can reveal lots of things!
