This story is great, can't wait for more. Sue needs to hurry up and get rid of Brian!! She has Jack now.

Read it all so far and I love it!!! Can't wait for Sue to break up with Brian!

Sue saw his face saddening. She knew that he meant every single word he said. This was the man of her dreams; her prince on the white horse. She waited for this moment for so many years and even though she replayed this moment in her thoughts at night, nothing could top what he did for her today. She admired him for his strength.

“Don‘t you worry! I‘ll take care of that.” In the short time she was dating Brian she had also heard a lot of rumors about him. She didn’t want to believe it but some how she always knew that he couldn’t be her match. Her feelings for Jack were too strong even though nothing ever really happened between the two. “So, are you gonna kiss me already?” She bit her bottom lip as she waited for his reaction.

Jack let out the breath he didn’t know he was holding. Obliging without thinking it over he touched her face with the back of his hand as he leaned down to kiss her. He felt her smiling against his kiss and took advantage and deepened it. Jack’s arm tightened around Sue’s waist pulling her closer against his body. Her breath caught in her throat as she felt the hardness of Jack’s chest up against her own. Their kisses brought a wave of dizziness to the both of them. Jack held her firmly in place and let the kiss develop slowly, rising in hunger and passion as their embrace lingered. His hands wandered aimlessly as his lips placed teasing kisses across the ‘v’ of her collar. He swooped down capturing her lips with his, with an intensity that ripped groans from their lips. Their control broke and their touch heated as wave after wave broke over them. Slowly he broke their kiss and as they touched foreheads, they both inhaled much needed oxygen.

He held up his hand and bended his ring finger and middle finger; keeping his thumb, index finger and pink straight up and laid it on her chest atop of her heart. I love you. Feeling her heart beat rapidly under his touch. “and if you’ll let me I will show it to you over and over again from this moment till the day I die.”

Emotions were taking over and he saw happy tears rolling down her cheeks. A smile was plastered on her face. He figured that smile wouldn‘t leave her any time soon.

“Will you allow me to finish reading my poem?” Kissing the tip of her nose after her acceptance he guided her back to the Oak tree. As they both lay down on the plaid Jack finished the rest of his poem.



The places I paint these days,
will be part of memories of you
and when we first started this
anytime, in the future,
that I pass by them
Nostalgia will be eminent

Falling in love during
the spring awakenings,
feels so damn right
I anticipate the summer,
when you taste like the sun
I anticipate the winter,
when you can turn the heater down
because you won't have to sleep alone

Taking the bottle Jack poured wine into the glasses. Handing one over to Sue he raised his glass and toasted. “This is the first Spring of the many to come. I love you, Sue!”

“I love you too, Jack!”

You did a wonderful job on this story. I loved how Jack did a complete 360 and pursued Sue. He really can be quite the romantic!

I like how it ended, too. They kissed and admitted they loved each other....the first of many seasons spent together, I'm sure!!!!

I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to reply earlier (things have been a bit hectic these last few days). Just wanted to let you know I think this ending was wonderful! I'm very happy Sue didn't deny her feelings for Jack, and she didn't fight him too much when she found out he had messed with Brian's email.... the love they share was too strong to let anyone else into both their hearts
