What was once was a good opportunity now was not …the pain of losing someone they loved has taken a toll on jack Hudson and bobbing manning …they both remembered the day like it if was yesterday ….


~~FLASH BACK ~~

Jack Hudson’s team was raiding the home of a notorious bomber...

Susan"sue"Thomas Hudson along with Tara Williams manning where in the surveillance van monitoring the sights of the house so the FBI could raid the house with out endangering the raiding team that was headed by bobby and jack as Myles had been on the personal leave since he go married with Nora two weeks ago ...

“Everything is a GO I repeat everything is a GO .”Tara said through the microphone…

“3….2….1 …..GO... FREEZE FBI…”

The agents went inside and had arrested the accomplices along with the dealers of the bomber but not the bomber himself...just then jack cell rings..

“Hudson.”

“You and your best friend next to you destroyed everything I worked for and now its time to repay the favor says goodbye to your wife Hudson and manning.”After the line went dead...immediately jack radioed to Tara to get out of the van with sue

“TARA SUE GET OUT OF THERE RIGHT NOW .”But it was too late as the van shook and blasted due to bomb that was detonated …

As jack and bobby saw this they immediately ran towards the disaster area only to be pulled back by D and other agents

“SUE.”

“TARA.” both jack and bobby cried but in vain …

~~End flash back ~~

Jack bobby and two little girls stand side by side in the Arlington national cemetery next to the tombstones on them written Susan Thomas Hudson "Forever In Our Hearts " "Loving Wife ,Mother And Sister "where the little girl with blonde pigtails knelt and placed fresh flowers in front of the tomb and placed a kiss on her two fingers and pressed it against the name “I love you mommy and daddy and I miss you a lot.”jack pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket in it was a poem and placed it near the flowers and took a hold of the little girls hand ..while the other little girl with dark blonde bun did the same for the other tomb that read Tara williams manning "You Won't Be Forgotten "Loving Wife And Mother" while bobby took her hand and brought her to him....tears came running down the cheeks of both the young girls who both lost an important person that day ..
As if the heavens heeded their call ...small rain drops started to fall and a mild breeze blowing on the flowers which where placed near the tombs as if sue and Tara were present and giving them comfort …..They slowly left after giving a final goodbye….as they leave the gentle breeze blows open the piece of paper as small rain droplets fall on the small Delicate paper ......

sitting here in the pen thinking about you,

I here you call my name,
jack, jack ,jack
As I turn to see who's calling me
I see no one, only hear your voice.

I glance across the room,
To see if anyone else hears it too.

But no one seems to notice the look on my face.

I miss you so much,
I keep telling you,
But you don't seem to hear me.

Still you're calling out my name, only louder,
As the tears rolled down my face,
I glance around the room,
And see you amongst my family, and friends
The look upon your face says you're peaceful now.

I realized it was time to let you go.
Although I will always love and miss you.

I turn my head to see if anyone notices you.
Then I turn back, and you're gone.

I hear you, so very gently say,
"I love you", "Good- Bye!"
"Bye", I said . . .

That was so sad, but moving, I could picture the scene before me playing out.

i would like to answer that question....

what inspired me to write and i have the perfect answer to the queston ...its you and all the writers out there ...using their imagination and writing it down !!!

i called my friend and i spoke to her and then something clicked in me and i knew i had to write this .....

my teacher once gave me an advice that i really took to heart ...... face the past without regrets ,handle the present with confidence and prepare for the future without fear ....she also said nothing is impossible if you try to do the best you can....

OH my suejack, I don't usually read character death stories because they are so sad. I figured since it was short I would venture in. You did a beautiful job writing a painful experience.

Girls, Mel started a very strange tradition... let the character die... please, don't try to act like her...

It was very touching story, suejack05! But I hope in your second story no one will die!
