"Lucy, are you sure that it looks okay?" Sue asked her best friend.
"Sue, it looks fabulous. Nothing is wrong with it at all." Lucy replied to her friend as she was looking in the mirror.
Sue and Tara were both standing in front of a mirror in their gorgeous white dresses inside of the dressing room. It was their wedding day. They were holding a double wedding ceremony as they and their fiancées were best friends.
"Yeah, Sue. You look great! Now my hair on the other hand..."
"Tara there is nothing wrong with your hair and Sue there is nothing wrong with your dress. You both are the most beautiful brides I've ever seen in my life and you know it."
"I guess we do look pretty good. I mean for it being our wedding day and all. Our wedding day...I love it." Tara replied
"I guess so. I'm just so nervous. It's my wedding day and I just want to look perfect for Jack."
"Sue! You know Jack already thinks you're perfect. This dress just brings out the features a little more. But trust me, Jack will love it, and you know he loves you so it's a win-win situation."
"Thanks Luce."
Lucy stepped out of the dressing room for just a minute.
"Okay well they are just about ready for us. I just saw the guys walking in so we should be ready to go pretty quick here." Lucy said as she poked her head in the door and stepped right back out.
"Alright. This is it Sue. Are you ready to do this?"
"As ready as I'll ever be. How about you?"
"Yeah. I'm doing okay. I mean I love Bobby and all but is this really the right thing for me to do. I don't know that I'm ready to get married this soon. I mean seriously I have my whole life ahead of me why am I getting married already. I don't think I am ready."
"Woh, Tara. Stop a second. You are ready. You and Bobby Love each other. Everything is going to work out perfectly with the both of you. You are so in love. It's gonna be okay."
"I guess you're right. I mean we do love each other so we can make it work right?"
"Of course you can, and it will. I have never seen 2 people more in love than you guys. Trust me on that one. I love Jack a lot, but you two are so passionate about it."
"Yeah, I suppose we are. But hey, there is so much love between you and Jack, you couldn't cut it with a knife. Believe me we all noticed because why else would we have tried to get you two together for as long as we did if there wasn't a reason for us to be doing it."
"I guess that's true. We are in love and we have been for a while, whether we admitted it or not."
"Exactly. So everything is going to work out perfectly between you and Jack, as well as Bobby and I. We all are in love with the other and it works perfectly. A marriage can last through thick and thin if you are in love, and that's what we have."
"Wow, Tara, you are really good at encouraging people. Thanks."
"NO PROBLEM. Besides you were good at encouraging me as well so that's what friends are for."
"I think it's time for us to head out."
"Okay. Ready to do this?"
"I sure am."
"Alright lets go."
Both girls emerged from the room and headed towards the back of the church where Lucy and Myles were waiting. They all smiled at each other and Myles opened the door for Lucy and himself to enter the church. As soon as they were at the front. The reverend asked everyone to please rise. Once everyone had, Tara directed Sue to when the music started. The ushers both opened the doors for the brides and they started down the aisle towards their very soon to be husbands. They both smiled as they caught their guys' eyes and fixated them on each other.
Jack smiled and signed AMAZING and I LOVE YOU to Sue, which made her blush even more than when just everyone was staring at her. She signed I LOVE YOU back to him for only his eyes.
At the same time Bobby and Tara were in a whole different world. Tara was walking towards him with a smile as Bobby was totally in awe of what was before him.
As both women reached the front of the church, the fathers of the brides stood up to pull back their veil's and give them a kiss on the cheek. They then handed them off to the guys and stepped back down to their seats.
The service began.
"Dear friends and Family. You are gathered here today to witness the weddings of Bobby and Tara, and Jack and Sue. Before I begin, if there is anyone who believes that these couples should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace." There was complete silence as the couples waited for the reverend to begin again. "Well then, since no one objects let's begin the ceremony. Bobby I will begin with you. Do you Robert Manning take Tara to be your wife? Do you promise that through times of prosperity and times of trials, through times of happiness and times of sadness, and through times of health and times of sickness that you will love her, honor her, and protect her?"
"I promise."
"Now do you Tara Williams take Bobby to be your husband? Do you promise that through times of prosperity and times of trials, through times of happiness and times of sadness, and through times of health and times of sickness that you will love him, honor him, and protect him?"
"I promise."
"Now Jack and Sue. Jackson Hudson do you take Sue to be your wife? Do you promise that through times of prosperity and times of trials, through times of happiness and times of sadness, and through times of health and times of sickness that you will love her, honor her, and protect her?"
"I promise."
"Sue Thomas do you take Jack to be your husband? Do you promise that through times of prosperity and times of trials, through times of happiness and times of sadness, and through times of health and times of sickness that you will love him, honor him, and protect him?"
"I promise."
"Okay, may I have the rings." Myles reached into his pocket and pulled out the rings and handed them over to the reverend. "I would like each of you to take the others ring in your hand while I pray over you. Dear heavenly father I come to you in this time of great joy that you would bless each of these couples and their families in whatever they do in life. Guide them in the direction that you want them to go and lead them down paths of righteousness. Bless their lives together and the family that they will create together. And help them to be the great spouses that they can be and that they will be totally devoted and faithful to each other. In your precious name, Amen. Place the rings on each others left hand and repeat after me. I give you this ring as a symbol of my love that I have for you from now until eternity..."
"Bobby and Jack, you may kiss your brides."
Both couples leaned in for a kiss and everyone stood up and started clapping.
"May I be the first to introduce to you Mr. and Mrs. Manning and Mr. and Mrs. Hudson."
The music started playing and the couples walked down the aisle one after the other with Myles and Lucy right behind.

PG-17 Warning


The reception went by fast as the newlyweds were ready to head off to their honeymoon. They greeted everyone and said their thank-you's after they finished eating, and then they were off.
Bobby and Jack had planned the honeymoon over these last few weeks while the girls finished all of the other wedding plans. They decided it would be more fun to not tell the girls until they were on the plane.
"Okay, Jack come on. All of our stuff is boarded on the plane and we are about to walk on. Can't you tell us where we are going yet?"
"Hmmm. What do you think Bobby should we tell them?" Jack asked his friend.
"I guess we could. I mean they'll figure it out soon enough anyways."
"Okay then. We are taking you girls to one of the most beautiful places on earth. Can you guess?"
"Hawaii." Tara said.
"Close love, but that's in the US. So think somewhere else."
"Jamaica." Sue replied.
"Not quite."
"Quit the suspense already. Where are we going?"
Jack and Bobby looked at each other and then replied to the girls "Atlantis"
"What? You're taking us to an underwater continent?" Sue asked.
"No baby. Atlantis the all inclusive resort in the Bahamas."
"Oh my goodness. Are you serious?!"
"Totally."
"Jack I love you!" She said to him as she flung her arms around her neck.
"I know you do." Jack said with a smirk as he took a playful slap from his wife, "I'm just teasing my love. I mean, I do know that you love me, but it couldn't possibly be as much as I love you."
"And how does that work?"
"Because I've been waiting longer than you have."
"What are you talking about Jackson. I have been in love with you since the day we met."
"Yes, but I didn't date anyone since that day."
"Oh, well excuse me."
"Baby I'm kidding."
"Hmph." Sue replied as she turned away.
"Honey, I'm sorry."
She started to smile. "I know. I was just messing with you!"
"Oh you little..." Sue silenced him with her lips, "I love you"
"I love you too."

The flight attendant called for everyone to board the plane and the four of them were among the firsts to get seated. Bobby took the window seat and Tara followed with Sue and Jack right behind.

"Jack," Sue whispered in his ear, "I can't wait until we get to our room tonight."
"Me too baby. I will finally get to show you just how much I have loved you for all of these years."
"Same here, darling." Sue said as Jack leaned in to kiss her.

"Bobby. I love you."
"I love you too, my love."
"I cannot wait for tonight, when we can be alone."
"Oh baby, you have no idea how much I can't wait until then either." Bobby said as he leaned over to Tara to give her a kiss.

The flight was long and tiring but both couples were wide awake when the arrived at the hotel. The guys checked them in while the girls waited in the lobby with their bags.

"I cannot wait Sue. I am sure that you are just as excited as I am."
"You have no idea Tara. I have been in love with Jack for so long and now the fact that I get to be with him for the first time tonight is absolutely amazing."
"You're telling me."

The guys finished checking in and came to grab the bags from the girls.
"Well are you ready, love?"
"More than you could know, Bobby."
"Goodnight all. I'll see you eventually this week I'm sure." Bobby said to Jack and Sue as he took Tara by the hand and made their way to the elevator.

"How about you, baby? You ready to go upstairs?"
She leaned over and whispered into his ear.
"I'll take that as a yes." Jack said to her as she nodded at him. They gathered their things and went to their room.

"I love you Bobby. So much."
"I love you too, sweetheart. But there's no need for talk, right now I need you."

"I love you, Jack. More than anything else in this world. I hope that you know that."
"I do know that. I hope you know that as well, so I want to show you just how much I love you."

The two couples enjoyed their wedded bliss and neither of them saw the other couple for the rest of the night...and most of the morning.
