Ivory, I like using the word "prince" to describe Jack. A knight in shining armor would work too. I hope some day I find a guy as patient and considerate as Jack! wub.gif

last chapter, hope you've enjoyed it, sorry can't do honeymoon. imagine this chapter multiplied and lots of romantic gondola rides!!

Chapter 21

Waking late the following morning he realised she had slipped her nightie off and she was even more beautiful than he had imagined, her hand was resting just below his waist, her head resting on his chest……

Unsure whether she was awake he kissed her gently on the top of her head, surprised when she whispered ‘morning handsome……. Love you………’

As he moved gently and their lips met a fire was lit in their hearts and bodies which consumed them both as they expressed their love and desires…………

Leaving their room only long enough to attend church in the evening and making full use of room service, they then remained there until booking out Monday morning to head for the airport.

‘Venice………? We’re going to Venice…………?’ Sue could barely keep the excitement out of her voice, ‘how did you know I’ve always wanted to go there…………?’

‘Your dad told me………. I didn’t know what to organise…….. I didn’t want it to be somewhere you’d hate…….. he said you’d written a book when you were a kid…. You’re dream wedding……… he couldn’t find it but he and your mom remembered the horse drawn carriage and Venice………….’ Jack knew he would give her the world if he could; his love was growing minute by minute,

Sue blushed, she remembered the book, she’d written it when she was 10….. thrown it away when she was 15, her dreams shattered when a boy at school had dated her once then told her she was defective and not worth the effort, particularly since she wouldn’t go to bed with him………. She’d pretty well given up on a dream wedding……… well any wedding at all really, never again imagined romantic gondola rides with the man she loved beside her.

Her dream wedding had been surpassed over the weekend; she could feel the tears trickling down her face.

‘You Ok, Sue?…….did I do something wrong………..?’ he asked, panic rising in his throat………. He hadn’t expected her to start crying on him.

‘Happy, Jack just so happy………….. I had my dream wedding and more…….. just marrying you was a dream come true…….. the carriage and this…….. it’s all so wonderful……………. I love you…………..’ she wrapped her arms around him, moving her head to meet his lips not caring who was watching, she loved this man and she wanted the world to know……………………..

What a beautiful way for Sue to introduce "herself" to her new husband. That was perfect.
