Hi, ladies, could you stand one more entry from me? This is fairly short although it'll take a few posts ...
Enjoy ... I hope!

Hey, Toots. I thought they’d never leave!
I just wanted to tell you that last night was great. I’d forgotten how much fun going on the secret mission to hunt for a fugitive could be … you, me, together on a case again like the old days. I’ve really missed those days. We need to be careful, though, wouldn't want the surveillance experts getting tipped off that we’re … you know.
Anyway, I’ve made headway in the case and I’ve a pretty good idea where that rascal could be hiding himself; I’m working with another contact in Cyber Crimes to see how we can trap him into revealing himself … just need more time.
Sweet dreams.

Yhm, I don't think I can get enough of your writing!

That post was short but good. It certainly captured our attention! So, Jack and Sue are what? dating?

They're secretly working to capture a fugitive? That sounds dangerous!

Jack calls Sue "Toots"?!?!

Great start! Looking forward to more...

Maybe I'm wrong here, but something tells me only Jack could get away with calling Sue "Toots".

Hi, sweetie. Me too … I thought they might camp here! Who knew they’d have so much to talk about? I mean, they see each other everyday!
And yes! I had a great time tracking that fugitive with you and it was wonderful to work with you again … ‘adrenaline rush’ doesn’t even cover it, LOL.
There’s an itsy bitsy part of me that wishes this case will take a while just so we can work together longer <blush>. Anyway, do you really think they suspect we’re … you know?

Jun 12 2006, 10:39 PM
But of course we can handle another entry! The more the merrier!
By the tone of the emails, I'm guessing that Jack and Sue are dating?

And he called her "toots"??!! What in the world does that mean??

Anyway, still so glad that you're back and posting!

So are they using the Bureau's back-up server for emailing each other or something?
LeviCool

I don't think e-mailing through bureau's accounts is safe. There is a "computer-magician" Tara in the same team. But I love it any way.

YHM...two itsy bitsy posts and my minds already working overtime....what would you say if I said I think they're more than dating, actually they're engaged, working in different units in the same building, but help each other out when needed like now, or Sue's started a new position and no one knows they're dating in secret, I mean how else can he get away calling her "toots"

and her call him "sweetie"

Anyway, Toots, I’ve downloaded a file for you to check. Think you can do a rush job in cross referencing it with the one D sent this morning? There are some entries I’m suspicious of but I won’t tell you which for now … not because I’m being difficult but because I’d like to see if you can locate the oddities and that will help confirm my suspicions.

Sweetie, if you’re worried about discretion and the rules, calling me Toots is hardly being discreet. What if someone sees these emails? We’ll never hear … ummm … see the end of it, and I don’t want you to get into trouble.
About the files: I believe you’re on to something. What I’ve found are entries on the second Monday of each month from Feb until May with different times between when the clients deposited money into their accounts and when the bank recorded the transactions … there’s a time lapse of more than two or three minutes in each case.
Are you thinking your rascal placed a bug in the system to enable illegal transactions during this time lapse? Do you suspect any of the clients? Or a bank employee? Or employees?
No one really checks the time, do they, when they deposit money as long as the dates are the same and the money’s there. But trust my super secret agent man to spot the time difference! <big hug>

Sue called Jack her "super secret agent man"! How cute is that?!

Yes, sweetie Jack, if you're using the FBI's back-up server, you can be sure Tara's going to check in on it if she suspects anything.

Super secret agent man, huh? <blushes, ducks head and enjoys hug shamelessly> Now you’ve got me all heated up … if you see me spewing smoke, it’ll be all your fault. And calling me Sweetie is being discreet?
But, yes, you got it: the times are off. There’s no reason for the time difference because these are straight forward deposits that take … what … thirty seconds?
I’ll need access to the original time of each data entry from the bank’s central database to verify the actual transaction times before I can prove something’s wrong. I can guess where that rascal of a fugitive bug is hiding himself but I still need to determine how he’s doing this and who’s been helping him before I can nail him.
The clients appear to have nothing in common and Cyber Crimes has checked them out and cleared them - all regular folks, randomly chosen because they happened to go to the bank on those days. I’m betting they’re probably not even aware extra money’s going in and out of their accounts.
You doing anything tonight, darling?

You are no help. Calling me Darling is worse than calling me Toots. What if someone detects us? Darling is so much more … more … intimate than Toots. <chews lip in worry and embarrassment>
You know, I’m not sure all this name calling is wise. Actually, I’m not even sure any of this is wise … I guess I’m not sure what I want …
Perhaps we should keep things more professional? Step back and think about how a personal relationship could hurt our careers?
Speaking of careers, I think we need Tara’s expertise on this, don’t you? She’s the only one I know who could access the bank’s records without triggering any of the security settings. And it’ll be fun to work with her again.

Me thinks she is. Right here is what I think:
Jack and Sue are still on the same team otherwise they wouldn't have to worry about inter-team dating
Tara and the rest of the ace-gang are split up for some reason
yhm will post for us soon
Please??? Am I right????? Hopefully about the last bit!!!
