As sue was about to go out of the door with Tara the phone rang
"phone sue !"
"can you answer it please I have the text phone switched off,"
"not a problem ' Hello Sue and Lucy's place .. can i help" there was a pause and Tara paled slightly " um ok mrs dotson we were just about to go i'll get her now"
she waved at sue to attract her attention "Get LUCY now its her mom on the line "
sue lent out the window and yelled lucys name "Phone your mom"
Lucy ran up the stairs followed by the rest of the team as they realised this may take a while.
Tara breathed and spoke before handing luce the phone "Luce your mom said it was urgent and she sounds upset .. just to warn you"
Luce balanced on the chair arm and took the phone the team listening to ;lucys end
"hey mom whats wrong..... calm down i cant understand you its a bad line....." Lucy paled and wavered on the chair arm and myles put a steadying arm at her back " w..w.whats the prognosis ... I'll get there as soon as possible I'll see you before tonight.....bye mom give her my love and god bless." Lucy shakily hung up the phone
"you ok sheila" bobby asked seeing her paled features
"yes um no grams is in hospital she had a fall maybe a stroke mom doesnt know the hospital dont know how she is" lucy began to shake with tears ... myles who still hand his had his hand on her back pulled her into a friendly hug.
"i have to miss the trip im so sorry "
"Luce dont apologise you need to be with your mom and grams " sue smiled we'll be fine and D and donna will understand "
"I know ...."
"Lucy listen I will take you to see your grandmother and then if and when you can go out to vermont i will go out with you on the plane" Myles said caringly
"um thanks myles but its not necessary"
"unless you dont want me because you want to be alone then I insist you shouldnt drive on your own and i haver the cash to spare and i want to spend it on you now shush!"

The guys alll stared at myles insistance at what would happen
"ok if this is happening lets do a luggage swop levi sue and tara's stuff into the SUV myles' into lucys and lets go ... one of you call us keep us up to date we'll be praying" jack said taking charge
" Of course!"

her angry tone and expression left bobby subdued and jack and sue stunned and confused where was there light and fluffy tara
Jack and sue found a topic of conversation and for the next few hours there was a lighter atmosphere in the car and Jack pulled into the services.
"bathroom break and a coffee before we swop drivers" jack said briefly before climbing down and stretching whilst the girls headed off to the bathrooms bobby paused to speak to jack but jack spoke first
" what was all that about crash with tara"
" i dont know i was hoping you could enlighten me maybe she's just worried about lucy or something I swear i havent said anything to offend her as far as i know!"

" hey crash i believe you I'll speak to sue see if she knows"
" and speaking to sue is such a hardship" Bobby teased

As they were heading back to the SUV having finished with there coffees a short while later tara seemed birighter and apologised to bobby for snapping at him coming across from the other side of the rooom were six giggling young women and didnt see the group of agents also crossing the hall of the services before it was to late several of them were able to swerve but one of the youngest of the group colided straight into both bobby an jack and fell backwards landing on her bottom and blushing violently as she looked up and saw what or to be more precise who she had crashed into.
Bobby put his hand down and helped her up.
"you ok sheila" he asked flashing his dimples and his accent the girls went weak at the knees for the accent was a killer.
" yes um thanks sorry...." the girl stammerred
feeling sorry for the young girl sue stepped forward and smiled before signing at bobby and jack to stop smiling so hard
" hi Im Sue thomas this is Levi none of us were looking where we were going are you all ok "
"Fine thankyou" said one of the young women who had been at the back of the group " Im kav these other ladies are Em ,Sarah, Kaci and Cristy the tomato at the front who colided with your um... friends" kav hesitated for effect trying not to giggle as she saw the way the four were looking at one another "is Laura "
"please to meet you all " smiled Tara " Im Tara Williams The cute aussie with the dimples is Bobby manning and the other guy is jack hudson " she said smiling then taking in what she said and eddening violently
"um we have to go now anyway long journey" tara said flustered

as the team walked off the six young women laughed
"do they realise hpw bad they've got it do you think" smiled cristy
"I doubt it and the small one .. Tara was it poor thing she went beetroot!"Sarah laughed
"oh well I know the others were saying we only coming on this trip to bump into guys but i doubt anyone realised I would do it literally!"Laura giggled

an hour after the service station stop Bobby is driving and Jack is asleep in the back Tara is sat with her head rested against the back window very quiet after what she blurted out an hour before. Sue is in the front passenger seat sat at an angle so as to read tara and bobby if either of them would speak Levi is between Jack and Tara.

sue shifted in her seat her neck and back aching from her position.
"tara can we switch places im getting back ache sat like this..."
"sure I dont mind" tara said

bobby pulled over and they switched seats and within half an hour Jack Sue and Levi were fast asleep on the back seat and there was complete silence in the car apart from the odd growl from levi as he chased rabbits in the sun.

"sorry if i upset you earlier with my comment about gossip and men not"bobby said trying to break the silence
"you didnt ...." said tara hesitantly " it wasnt you i was mad at it was men in general I was on a date the other day and the guy was a bit pushy and then told all his mates at the gym that I was the pushy one !" Tara said angrily
"im sorry you know such jerls sheila... I presume you told him where to get off!"
Bobby said looking at the petite agent sat next to him hoping she had and wishing he could show her what a real gentleman was like she had just been kidding when she called him cute she wouldnt fall for him would she?
"Of course i made a slightly illegal threat involving my gun and hi er um private parts " tara blushed violently and bobby smiled "if he tried it on with me or if i found out he had with anyof the other girls."

"the gym he was in the cafe when I went up after swim class" she smiled

they are all unloading there luggage with the help of D's kids ... well Daveys help Tanya was lingering staring at jack who had smiled at her and nearly caused her to melt the snow with her blushes.

"Tanya come here a second "tara called tanya walked over and tara pulled her inside to the lounge and passed her a tissue

"you start drooling in this weather you'll get very cold" tara smiled "you wont have been obvious to him dont worry if he doesnt notice sue watching he wont notice you... and i have a tip look over his shoulder he wont notice and you will avoid the eyes and the smile .... it works i promise" tara hugged ther embarrassed teen
"how do you know does jack make you fell like a bowl fool of under set jelly aswell"tanya asked
"um not exactly no though no woman is free from agent hudsons it isnt jack who turns me into jelly as you so perfectly put it and who does is none of your business before you ask ms gans" tara smiled
