Hi people. I've never done this before, write a fan fic that is, but this time i thought, what the heck i'll give it ago. I've got some done, but not a lot, i'm hoping to get it finished 2moro! thst'll be a challenge in it's self
. It's not particularly good and not particularly scary, romantic, not really anything but i thought id send in my two cents worth. I'm going away for a short break on thursday so got to make sure it's finished by then at least.Without further ado... my scrap, i mean story!
[COLOR=blue]This follows on from sprogpaws beginning (barely) so if you haven't already you might want to read that first.
You’re the one that I want
The party was still going well into the night. By the witching hour however numbers had dwindled.
D & Donna had left claiming they promised the baby-sitter that they would relieve her of her duties before 12. Darcy left, after great protest from Bobby, claiming that she was tired and had a meeting the next morning and needed her “beauty sleep”.
The remaining guests, however, were wired.
“Hey, HEY people! I think we need another game, agreed?” Lucy spoke, a slight slur in her voice. She wasn’t a heavy drinker but she liked the odd tipple now and again.
A collective cheer arose, and all at once ideas were thrown forwards as to what entertainment should be experienced next.
“OOOOOO, oooooo, I got one, how about we tell ghost stories? I always loved ghost stories. No Halloween is complete without a good scare!” Jack looked at Sue surprised.
”I never thought you, Miss Thomas, to be into ghost stories. Another thing you haven’t revealed to us! Anything else you wish to tell us?”
Sue looked down obviously embarrassed, and Jack suddenly felt guilty. He knew Sue didn’t really like talking about the little things in her life, she preferred to keep them a secret.
“Yeah, well Sparky, you up for a bit of spooking?” Bobby put in.
“Sure why not. I’ve know something that’ll scare you.” Jack looked at their expectant faces and continued. “I have a camera, your wearing those ridiculous costumes. Would be interesting to see what people thought when they see pictures like that pinned up around the Bullpen, or suddenly appearing in the Newspaper!”
Jack ducked and ran as the rest of the group dived at him, determined to confiscate any camera or photographic device he may have.
Exhausted, they eventually found their way back to the living room and the scary stories began.

Just a bit more before i call it a night. This ones a bit longer but not much better i'm afraid.
Thank you for you support already it means a lot even at this stage.
Any way hope you enjoy.
2 hours and a few scares later the gang were going their separate ways.
“Hey Crash wait up, I’ll give you a lift!” Jack offered, pulling on his jacket.
“No thanks mate, I’ll be fine” Bobby replied, himself getting ready to face the brisk autumn night.
“I’ve seen how many you drank tonight; I don’t think I trust you behind the wheel of a car.” Jack countered.
“I’m not drunk!” Bobby shot back indignantly.
“Yeah you are Bobby, trust me! I don’t want to wake up to reports of you splattered across a road somewhere. I like you to much to see that happen.” Jack retorted, a smirk across his face. “Come on just let me drive you back.”
“Right, I believe you Sparky, lead the way!”
The lads called goodnight again to the girls and thanked them for hosting the party and were on their way.
***********************************************
The cold, dark night was closed tightly round the car, currently occupied by Jack & Bobby.
Bobby, though adamant he was not tired, was dozing in the passenger seat. Jack, not any more alert than Bobby, was driving, squinting to see the dark road in front of him.
Bobby lived just out of the main city and the quickest way of reaching his house was to go along the side roads, along the outskirts of the city. Unfortunately these were not as well lit as other routes and had more corners, sharp corners none the less, as well as a good 12 – 14 ft drop on one side.
Jack glanced over at Bobby, noticing a small droplet of saliva forming in the corner of his partially opened mouth. What he wouldn’t give to be in Bobby’s position right now, sleep was all he craved. As he looked up again he caught a flash of light in front of the car. No sooner it was there as it was gone. Jack peered around. “Hmmm that’s strange.” He mumbled to no one in particular. Suddenly on the left hand side of the car another flash of light caught Jack’s attention. This time he could have sworn he saw two eyes, a nose and a large gaping mouth within the flash. “Jeez, I think I’m going crazy!” He looked up. There in front of him was a small ball of light, floating, a whole face visible in the magma coloured haze. Jack jumped, “****!” The car swerved as Jack momentarily lost control.
Bobby woke suddenly thanks to the jolt caused by Jacks shock. “Damn Sparky, thought you said I was the drunken one!”
Jack still faced forward, shock evident on his face. “Bo…bby, FACES!”
“Jack, your not making sense, care to explain.” Bobby looked confused.
“Faces, flashing, out there!” He pointed out of the front windscreen. “That! Like that! Did you see that?!” Jack was becoming hysteric now.
“Sparky calm down. It’s just those scary stories. I told you I could give you a good old spook,” Bobby laughed.
“This isn’t my imagination, LOOK!” Jack almost screamed, he was getting frustrated. How could Crash think he was lying, he HAD seen them, they had been there. He knew they had. There was no point in arguing over it now thiough. All Jack wanted was to drop Bobby at his pad and be on his way. He took a deep breath to calm himself down and focused his full attention on the road. “Ok I give Crash, it’s probably just the whole Halloween witching hour thing. Lack of sleep mixed with those freaky costumes is enough to send anyone over the edge.” Jack even broke a smile. Bobby joined in.
They continued on there way for another 2 or 3 minutes when out of no-where several ‘faces’ appeared in front of the car. Jack jumped again and this time Bobby did to.
“I TOLD YOU!” Jack raged. The faces were flashing, moving fast and surrounding the car. Jack pressed down hard on the brakes… nothing happened! He tried again. Nothing.
The lights disappeared again and both men sighed in relief. This time though the small lights were replaced with two large beams, piercing the darkness both inside and outside the guys car. Headlights, that meant a car. But that car was headed straight for them, on the wrong side of the road.

Another piece, not very long.
Thank you for your wonderful comments, they really do help. Know all i have to do is get the rest of the story typed up. *joy*

Anyway thanks again and ...enjoy!
Jack tried to steer the car out of the way of the oncoming headlights, but whenever he tried the other one matched his move. Even Bobby was trying to steer the car with an invisible wheel gripped in his hands.
At the last second, inches away from Jacks car, the other ‘driver’ pulled slightly to the tight and then the left, hitting the drivers side of Jacks car, sending it into a spin. Desperately Jack tried to gain control of the skidding automobile, slamming on the breaks before remembering they were faulty.
“This isn’t happening, tell me this isn’t happening!” Bobby asked, panic in his voice.
“Sorry to disappoint Crash but I can’t really tell you that. Ow, damn door, it got my ribs!”
When Jack, still struggling with the uncooperative vehicle, looked up once again the car that had just rammed them was gone, vanished without a trace. Instead a new set of lights were just in front of the pairs’ stricken car.
This time the mystery car didn’t bother dodging this way and that, it drove straight at the two panic stricken men, running into the front end of their car and sending it into another spin which, barely back in control of it after the first incident, Jack was helpless to do anything about it and sat in his seat, frozen, as he and his best friend were sent over the ridge and down the embankment below.
The car tumbled and turned, flipped and skidded before coming to a complete stop 12 feet down. Both occupants, still strapped in, were out for the count, darkness once again capturing them as below the usually busy Washington was at rest.

As i said i need to get all this out before tomorrow so i'm working over time and the posts are going to get a little longer. Hope you don't mind to much.
Heres another chunk for you to read, hope you like...
The morning sun rose above the high-rise buildings and houses, waking those peacefully slumbering inside. Many woke up, looked at their alarm clocks, moaned and collapsed back into their covers, too hung-over to be bothered about moving. Who needed that when it was a Saturday, might as well just sleep all day.
This, however, was not the case for three F.B.I agents (well almost – 2 and a bit) and a dog.
D had been woken early that morning by a call from Metro P.D. A car had careered down an embankment off the old road and there was reason to believe it was two agents trapped in the wreckage below. He had instantly woken Donna; explained the situation and proceeded to phone Myles, who for 6.30 in the morning, after a night like theirs, was surprisingly chipper. At least until he heard what D had to say.
He rang Jack – got no reply, Bobby – again no reply, Tara, surprisingly, was not home, but Lucy had a fairly good idea that she was still at Stanley’s and D didn’t want to interrupt her ‘fun’.
Lucy promised to stay back at the apartment and continue trying to get in contact. No-one could come up with a decent explanation as to why neither would answer there phones.
D picked up Myles, Sue and Levi and headed towards the old road.
***********************************************
Pulling round the bend D barely missed hitting a police panzer parked up on the side of the road. Next to that were two ambulances, a fire truck and another panzer.
Everyone piled out of the large car and headed towards the police tape. Here they were stopped by a police officer asking them for identification, simultaneously D and Myles pulled out their badges and Myles quickly vouched for Sue.
On passing the yellow tape they were greeted by Chief Inspector Park.
“Special Agent Ganes?” He addressed D. “Yes Sir, and this is Special Agent Myles Leland, F.B.I Analyst Sue Thomas and Levi her hearing dog. When you rang you said that you thought there could be F.B.I agents in the car. Have you been able to establish as to whether they are or not yet?”
“Yes, one of them came round for a short while, wasn’t making much sense though.”
“What did he say? Any idea who they are?” Myles questioned the cop.
“He said something, it was mumbled couldn’t hear to well sounded like Sparky,” The officer gave the listeners a confused look. This look was returned but with a small tint of dread and realisation. “Maybe they had a short, sparks flew, lost concentration, over the edge.” He motioned the fall with his hands.
“Sir, did he say anything else?” D asked fervently “Anything, Anything at all?”
“Yes, yes he did. Something about two cars pounding them, lights flashing, all sorts of stuff. If the car was hit there is no evidence other than a pounded in door and some dents on the front bumper, but they could have been from the fall. There’s definitely no tyre marks, except the ones for them down there. They go all over the place, but no sudden breakings. I don’t know,” he muttered “maybe the driver was drunk; maybe… there are all sorts of possibilities. Hopefully we can get more out of them when they come round, IF they come round!” He finished solemnly.
“Excuse me, Sir, Excuse me, did you say that the passenger said something about Sparky?” Sue, who had remained silent until now, asked.
“Yes ma’am. It was the strangest thing, it was the first thing he said.”
“And you said you think it’s F.B.I agents down there?”
“Yes, in the back of the car was a jacket. In Big yellow letters. F.B.I. No mistaking it. Why? You think you know them?” He asked looking at the groups ashen faces.
“Yes. We know them. There names are Bobby Manning and…” Myles began.
“…And Jack Hudson.” D finished. Sue had become silent again, tears forming in her eyes.
D reached for his phone and gave Lucy a call. When he finished he looked over at the small group, huddled together, and asked, “Want to take a look?”
Slowly, hesitantly, both nodded, even Levi gave a small whine.
Together they walked silently towards the ridge and the fast paced action. Looking over the edge they saw the wreck below. Sue gasped and Myles pulled her close to him trying to comfort her. Silently they pray.
***********************************************
Standing there, quietly, hoping for the best, they are pushed out of the way as a paramedic team make their way through, carrying a stretcher and oxygen. They slip and slide their way down the slope and come up along side the damaged car.
Thankfully the car had finished upright, thought several times on the ride down the occupants (that is Bobby and Jack) had been upside down, on their sides, any which way was possible.
To the spectators up above all that could be seen were several fluorescent people milling around, cutting at bits of the car and leaning in to tend to the injured pair.
Half an hour passed and little progress had been made.
Finally a shout from below signalled they had released one of the men trapped. He was on his way up.
After meticulous planning the stretcher was hauled to the road side. Myles, Sue, D & Levi, jogged towards it as soon as they saw Bobby’s battered face appear
baa_rammsteeein
Oct 27 2004, 07:58 AM
Sue gasped once again; appalled at the condition Bobby was in. His face was a mixture of gray and red, his shirt torn, the large ‘S’ was hanging loose & a large gash ran across his chest.
Fortunately for Bobby, who tried never to be made a fool of (although he tried he was never quiet successful) he had taken a spare pair of pants and therefore was not faced with the humiliation of being treated in tights.
On further inspection one ankle was obviously broken and his left arm looked dislocated if not fractured, but his face held a serene look, peaceful, painless and oblivious to the commotion going on around him.
The friends continued to stare at him, looking him over, assessing the damage, until, slowly and wearily, he opened his eyes.
“UGH! What the…? D? That you mate?” His eyes fluttered then, “SPARKY! He’s still down there! He’s hurt bad, you’ve got to help him” Bobby pleaded suddenly wide awake. “Lights everywhere, flashing and cars’ then… then BANG!” His voice faded again as the adrenaline rush disappeared into nothingness.
The officer who had greeted the gang earlier, chief inspector Park was stood there and once more he mumbled, “See! Nonsense, all a load of nonsense.” He smirked and stalked off towards the forensics teams examining the evidence on the road side.
“Please! Help Sparky!” Bobby again pleaded. His concern for his buddy was admirable but the doctor currently struggling to take his vitals was having none of it.
“Please, Mr… urm Mr…” she stumbled on her words, not being able to fill the gaps.
“Manning, his name is Bobby Manning.” Sue helpfully supplied.
“Thank you Miss” she directed at Sue before turning her attention back to Bobby. “Mr Manning, you need to hold still. We’ll get your friend out soon but right now I need to treat you.”
With that Bobby was carted off into a waiting ambulance. Myles agreed to go with them and D rang Darcy to tell her what was happening.
Sue and Levi wandered off trying to find information on Jack.

Great plot development...good emotional build-up...I'm hooked.

Just add some more. believe me bigfan your not the only one confused by ths and i WROTE it. oh wellies. enjoy...
An emergency worker who has just clambered back over the embankment stood up, shook off the dirt clinging to his clothes and turned to his colleague. He shook his head and began talking to the man. “We got one out, he should be fine, but the other…” His head shook again “Doesn’t look to good. A lot more serious than the other and he’s still trapped. Drivers door was pounded in, they have to get him out of the top, but his legs stuck by the look of it. They can’t get the saw close enough with greater risk.”
Sue watched the one sided conversation but was not able to pick up everything that was said. She walked over, prepared to ask him for the answers she so desperately needed.
“Excuse me?” The men looked at her, “I’m with the F.B.I, I heard you talking about the man down there,” She pointed down the side of the road to the wreckage. “That man down there, he’s my friend. I have to know! What are his chances?” She asked sincerely, tears again threatened to fall.
“I won’t sugar the pill, it doesn’t look good miss, but they’re trying to get him out ASAP. Give him a better chance. He’s your friend you say?” Sue nodded “Then I’m sure he’ll keep fighting just to see your pretty face again ma’am.” The worker finished politely, trying to cheer Sue up. But to Sue nothing but Jacks smiling face, telling her everything would be all right, could cheer her up right now.
“Thank you Sir.” She turned and walked away, Levi following at her heels.
“Poor lass” he added quietly, feeling her sorrow.
***********************************************
Having shed more tears Sue made her way back to D’s side. He looked exhausted and his red rimmed eyes showed just how hard he was taking it. Sue hoped she didn’t look the same as he did, but she had a sinking feeling she did.
“I spoke to a worker; he said they’ve got to get him out soon. But he’s trapped. What if he… what if something happens to him? I’ll never get to say goodbye, to… to…” She stopped abruptly.
“To tell him you love him?” D finished.
Sue looked astonished. “Well, Yes! But how…?” she questioned.
“You and Jack make it so obvious. The only people who don’t know you are in love ARE you two!” D chuckled and Sue smiled. The masked face was just a cover, inside she was breaking.
The sky was clouding over, bad weather was heading in.
A distressed call traveled up the side of the road. “He’s crashing!”
The heavens opened and it poured.

This one's longer... have fun.
A few hours, several cups of coffee, courtesy of a friendly fireman, many anxious phone calls off Lucy and what felt like a lifetime of worry, later Jack was free. He had crashed several times but emergency crews had been on hand to save him again and again.
The rain had stopped now but it made getting back up to the road more difficult. Maneuvering a stretcher made things worse.
A plan was made, a route was set and the teams were coming back up.
Once at the surface there was no time for idle chit-chat. Jack was quickly loaded into the last remaining ambulance and it sped off. Time was something Jack had little of.
***********************************************
An emotional Sue and Bobby thanked all the workers once again and set off at full speed to the hospital. D alerted Myles to the impending arrival of a battered Jack at his end and Myles gave a quick update on Bobby’s condition.
“He’s stable. Doc says he’s got a mild concussion, broken ankle, and a broken arm, he is going to need stitches on his chest. The thing they’re worried about most is internal bleeding. He’s having a scan as we speak. He’s still asking about Jack, but I don’t know what to say. It’s heart wrenching.” For Myles to have no sarcasm in this sentence was a surprise but D knew this incident had put a new perspective on a lot of things, for a lot of people.
Upon arrival at the hospital D and Sue were greeted by a subdued Myles and a tearful Lucy. Looks were passed and by the haunted appearance present on both Myles and Lucy’s face it seemed Jack had been brought through their corridor maybe moments before. From around the corner Tara, hand clinging to Stanley’s arm, holding on for dear life, appeared, steaming cup in hand, tear stains still visible. In fact under closer scrutiny it looked as though all of the waiting party had been crying. Surely things weren’t that bad. Right?
“Oh Sue!” Tara released Stanley and ran to Sue, greeting her with a gripping hug, closely followed by Lucy.
D walked over to where Myles and Stanley were stood. “You saw Jack didn’t you? How’d it look? Bad?” The only reply he received was a sad frown from Myles. The look in his eyes told D everything he needed to know.
Stanley spoke up. “They rushed him in, we couldn’t see much but it looked bad and they were shouting out all sorts of things. Tara nearly fainted when she saw him. I suppose it was almost fortunate that we only got a glimpse.” Myles nodded in agreement.
The three ladies had pulled apart and walked over to their male friends who seemed engrossed in the flooring tiles all of a sudden. All except Stanley who couldn’t decide which was more interesting, the floor or the ceiling.
Tara, though still an ashen gray colour, seemed a little brighter, relieved at the presence of her friend. She spoke in a small voice, still hoarse from crying and her words were broken up, barely recognisable but slowly, as she calmed, her words became clearer. “They erm, said we could see Bobby when he comes down from C.T. Darcy’s there with him now but I’m sure she won’t mind if we… if we stay for a bit.” Tara needed comfort and the only comfort she could get was seeing at least one of her friends on the mend.
The whole group nodded and sat down in a row of chairs facing the E.R. Inside they could see doctors and nurses working away, dodging this way and that, taking it all in their stride. They were so calm and dexterous.
‘PING’ the elevator door opened and a porter stepped out pulling a bed behind him. Dweller of the bed was one slightly bruised, but smiling none the less, Bobby Manning. Walking along beside the bed was a frantic Darcy D’Angello. “Bobby, are you sure you’re alright?”
“Yes Darcy, I’m fine. I’m Just worried about Jack that’s all!” A frown crept over his face.
Myles and D stepped forward and made their presence known. “He’ll be ok Bobby, you know Jack, can’t keep him away from his job.” Myles chuckled. However the doubt was still present on Bobby’s face.
“Yeah you’re right, I’m sure he will be!”

Ok i've FINALLY finished typing it up and well i'm still not sure do u actually want to see it? Well u can anyway!
just a few more posts to finish the story
hope you dnt mind it's coming all at once.
When Bobby was settled in his room the gang were allowed in to see him. They spent quiet a while in there until a young doctor popped his head round the door and asked if they knew a Jackson Hudson. All heads shot up and, those able, clambered for the door.
“I’ll take that as a yes then.” He murmured. For this he received a pointed glance from Myles but continued any way.
“Mr Hudson is in a critical condition. He isn’t breathing on his own and he is still unconscious, we’re monitoring him but you should be warned things don’t look too promising.” He sighed. “You can go and see him, room 193 but only one at a time please.” With that he left.
Everyone looked at each other and unanimously decided Sue would be the first to go.
Sue walked slowly down the corridor, room 189, she wasn’t sure she wanted to go in, 191, there was still the chance of something happening to him, 193. She stopped. Took a deep breath and walk in.
Each one of the friends got a chance to see to Jack over the next couple of hours. Even Bobby was wheeled in by Darcy for a 20 minute stay.
It was now 9pm and Sue was sat on the edge of Bobby’s bed. Stanley had taken Tara home after she had fallen asleep for the 4th time, Lucy was walking Levi, Myles had gone to talk to Garrett 2 hours earlier and Darcy had left claiming she needed some fresh air and a good night’s sleep. D had gone home at 6pm wanting to spend some time with his family.
Sue & Bobby were chatting but Sue stopped and became serious. “Bobby I need you to tell me what happened, please?!”
Bobby gulped and waited for a moment. “K.” He told Sue exactly what had happened though some bits were slightly fuzzy due to the knock on the head.
“Did they find any cars with damage to the fronts?” He asked after a short silence, I’m certain both of them were speeding at least.” Bobby asked thoughtfully, “One hit the drivers side so it’s most likely got damage to the front left, the other…”
Sue interrupted him, “Bobby there was no evidence of any other cars being involved, no tyre tracks, no nothing. The only thing supporting your theory is dents on the car but they could be there from the fall down the mountain side. The Police think it’s Jack’s fault. They say dangerous driving on his part.” Sue finished quietly.
“NO! It’s not Sparky’s fault, its those damn cars, and the heads and lights. Plus the brakes wouldn’t work! It’s not Sparky’s fault. It’s not!!!” Bobby raged.
“Ok, I believe you Bobby but it still doesn’t explain what happened.”
“But… it was like,” Bobby thought about what to say, “it was like they were ghosts.” He ended. This received a strange look from Sue. “Really, they were there then they were gone. There’s no other way to explain it.”
“But why would a ghost, if there were such things, run you and Jack off the road?!” Sue asked confused and not quiet believing Bobby’s story.
“Well, ghosts do things in weird ways; maybe they were trying to tell us something. I mean everything happens for a reason” Bobby said trying to come up with an explanation as to what had happened to him the previous night.
“Yeah, I suppose they do.” Sue said just trying to please Bobby. She quickly changed the subject and their conversation continued again until both fell into a fit full slumber.
***********************************************
The hours passed and turned into days. Bobby was healing fine; he was back to his normal self and was happy to get out of the hospital.
In ICU however Jack was not fairing as well. Two days after being admitted he had been able to be taken off the respirator but he still had not awoken.
Silently everyone was praying for Jack but with each day that passed there was less chance of a full recovery.
Each person spent most the day at the hospital as they had taken personal leave. Everyday as one or two showed up at the hospital the person, or persons’ who had sat vigil for the past few hours made way for the new group. They were working in shifts. An unspoken agreement had been made that Jack would not be left alone. Sue had taken to spending ¾ of the day at Jacks beside only reluctantly leaving to eat, shower or sleep.
This meant the group of friends not only had an unresponsive Jack to worry about but a scared Sue. They knew if they were to loose Jack they would loose Sue as well.
Sometime during the night of the 6th Nov, a beeping came from the bedside. Sue, sleeping against the still figure in the bed, did not stir, but Bobby and Lucy who had been down the hall getting a cup of coffee to tide them through the hours left on their ‘shift’ had heard the incessant beeping and hurried/hobbled (in Bobby’s case) back to room 193.
Inside they were met with the site of Jack, in the bed, moving, writhing, but not in pain. He was awake and was desperately trying to get away from whatever was pinning him down.
With the excessive movement Sue woke. She looked up, looked around, confusion spread across her face. She saw Lucy and Bobby at the door, frozen but with small smiles riding across their features. She followed their gaze and her eyes landed on an angelic image in the bed. Jack. But more importantly Jack with his eyes open.
She smiled at him and gently hugged him, Bobby and Lucy followed suit.
“Jack. Good to see you mate. You hold still, let me get the nurse.” Bobby hurried off.
Lucy walked up behind Sue and placed her hand on Sues back. “Hi Jack. Do you know where you are?” Jack nodded slowly. “Do you know what happened?” Jack visibly flinched, then nodded his answer. Both Lucy and Sue were glad he knew the basics at least.
A nurse quickly entered the room closely followed by Bobby, a huge grin present on his face.
“Ah Mr Hudson, good to see your awake, you gave us a few scares.” Each person in the room strongly agreed with this comment, their faces serious. “Now then I need you to breathe out strongly and I’ll pull this tube out so you can speak. On three. One…Two…Three.” Jack blew out all the air he had in his lungs, the tube slid out. “Your throat will be a little dry but you can always have a few ice chips or a cold drink of water. Will you four be ok if I leave now? Just call if you need something.” With that and a parting smile she was gone.
The three visitors spoke at once.
“Hey welcome back Jack!”
“Good to see ya mate!”
“Are you sure you’re ok?”
Jack held up a hand to quieten them. This was definitely his team. He chuckled silently.
“Yes, I’m fine. Good to see you too. Bobby, how are you?” He asked hoarsely. He coughed. Sue handed him a small glass of water. He gulped it down, cooling his burning throat but the damn itch wouldn’t go away.
“Erm, do you mind telling me what day it is? I seem to have lost track.” A smile played across his lips.
“Thursday, Sparky. Talk about a long holiday. Trust you to come up with the best ways to get off work. Though I can’t complain too much, you got us off as well.” Bobby smiled, just glad that his friend was awake.
“What can I say, I’m a genius!”
Sue frowned, how could he be proud of getting in an accident and almost being killed. Then she saw how uncomfortable he was, the sadness in his eyes told how he was truly feeling.
Sue looked once again at Jack, gazing into his eyes she saw love reflected back up.
Lucy saw the looks flashing between the two of them and abruptly called, “I’m just going to ring the others, let them know what’s going on. Are you coming Bobby?”
“Nah, I’ll just wait here.” He replied not catching her drift.
“Bobby come on, we might be a while.” She looked at him urging him to understand, he looked, and it clicked.
“Oh, OH YEAH! I’m going to help Lucy. See you in a bit.” They left the room.
Jack and Sue hadn’t even noticed.
“I’m so glad you’re ok Jack. You really worried us, you really worried me!” Sue felt the tears building up once again but she refused to let them fall.
“I know. I’m glad you’re here. Will you move a little closer please? I can’t really sit up.”
Sue move closer.
They looked at each other again and were pulled together; an invisible force of love drew them to each other. Slowly Sue leaned down; Jack pulled himself as far upwards as he could. They met in the middle, their lips touching their passion exploding in fireworks around them.
The kiss was so soft and innocent yet strong and loving. They pulled a part.
Sues world was spinning. Jack looked dazed too.
“WOW!” They both gawked.

The very last bit.
Later that day after Jack received visits from what felt like everyone he knew, he was left alone once again. Well ‘alone’ with Sue anyway.
Sue was sat on his bed; he had shuffled over to give her a bit of room. She had her arm around him, trying to avoid his broken ribs.
They had been sitting like that for quiet a while and had not said a word. Both were savouring the moment. Both glad they could have that moment, together.
Finally Jack spoke up. “It’s weird. I’m almost glad about what happened. Not the whole near death thing, or the hurting my friends – in more than one way – bit but the bit that meant we are like this.” He gazed at Sue and Sue looked back at him.
“I don’t know what to say. You’re either crazy or romantic, in a VERY strange way.” She giggled.
She always ‘giggled’ when Jack was around. She couldn’t help it. He had that effect on her. But what he said intrigued her. She thought of what Bobby had said that first night in the hospital. She smiled.
“I think I’ve just found the reason.” Jack looked up.
“Huh? What did u say?” He enquired.
“Oh nothing, just remembering something Bobby said.”
“Ok. Hey why did we never do this before? Get together I mean. D said we must have been blind because we were the only ones who could never see what we meant to each other. I think he was right.”
“I never wanted to make the first move, I always hoped you would. But I want you to know now that you are the one that I want, no-one else. Only you, forever.”
Jack moved in towards her. “You know Mss Thomas, I’m inclined to agree.”
They moved closer and kissed once again. They had confessed their love and set the world to right. Everything was just the way it should have been and they were happy.

I just wanted to say thanks to thse you gave me encouragement on my first fanfic 'experiance' i certainly enjoyed it even if it hurt my head a lot and it was written in, for me anyway, record time. THANK YOU!
P.S as u may be able to tell english/writing is not my strongest subject nor is suspense or any particular genre. I just write what is floating around in the hollow space doctors tell me should contain a brain - what do they know

- i hope it was OK.

Finally had enough time to sit down and read the Halloween challenges and I really loved your story! The ending was beautiful and loved how Bobby was so concerned with Jack at the risk to his own health if he wouldn't quiet down.
Very nicely done and I'll be looking forward to more fanfics from you! We're watching you now.
