Part One
Louder stiletto clicks became synonymous with approaching torture.
This time the overhead trap door opened.
Manure rich soil fell into every one of his cerebral crevices. His curly lashes succumbed to the weight. His breathing became labored, and in one fragrant gasp he mouthed her name and appreared to die, on camera.
She was already running to the scene, for final telemetry found the basement, and when the tape was replayed, she thought she saw his heart stop, the first time.
He ws praying , we now know, to see her one last time. The black camera eye caught him mouthing his testament to her. He prayed to see her one last time before he died.
As the medic worked on his chest, and brushed away the earth, he felt as if his tomb was robbed, and an angel was above him.
It was her.
He imagined, for a moment, that he became heaven bound and was heading toward the light. But, it was neither a dreanm nor a near death experience.
It was the earthbound EMT worker, with her crying over him and her hot tears obliterating the soil around his head and into his eyes. He was in a hothouse and her saline tendrils poured onto him making his graying, tortured body rosy and warm again.
And to think, this assignment began at the New, Deluxe, Billionaires Only New Year's Eve party at the Holiday Inn.

Part Two
When the plot to kidnap (discoverd five days ago) and hold for ransom her own stepchildren during the Holiday Inn New Year's Eve bash that she hosted was discovered, agents were immediately deployed for this highly sensitive and dangerous assignment.
Our government was looking for more evidence on Mrs. Danner.
In addition to her international drug operation and kidnapping, both husbands questionable deaths were still under investigation in two countries.
Our plan was to buy time, and get information from her by intentionally having one agent "captured". Both Bobby and Tara were prepared for that eventuality.
Relying on the roughhousing he would get from Mrs. Danner's "associates", Bobby slumps into a corner, where he places both wrists against the walls hoping that at least one of his two televised/tracker capable cuff links would adhere.
Tara has clip off earring that function the same way, as monitors, mini cameras and tracking devices.
Two days earlier, while pretending to be guests, Bobby and Tara found the kids bound and gagged in an underground abandoned tunnel over the original Holiday Inn. The New Year's Eve Party was in full swing above them. Bobby lagged behind pretending to follow them when he was "ambushed".
His palm pilot containing "his date's" number assured eveyone that Mrs. Danner would call Tara. She's seen on the lobby and dance floor tapes.
Mrs. Danner calls Tara with the conditions for Bobby's ransom.

Yes, two days ago, Mrs. Danner made these demands: 1) Immunity from persecution, 2) Safe jet departure to any destination of her choice, and 3) All files regarding this incident expunged.
Of course Bobby would have to travel with her to ensure her safety, and to keep him docile she injected him with her own cocktail concoction that she "perfected" on the late Mr. Danner!
Mrs. Danner is also the County Medical Examiner.
Fixing "cause of death" reports for her cronies was exciting at first, but she needed more. Drug running, and gun smuggling have become fun sports. The money she hoped to inherit from the children's untimely deaths would have helped her in her latest project ... international political tampering.
Mrs. Danner's (nee Alaris Bonterall) mysterious beginnings actually began in quiet oblivion in a small town with non-descript signs and full of simple honest folks that bored her to death!
Always a precocious child, her intensity wasn't nurtured and instead she pitied the "backward thinking drivel" of her teachers and parents. Their usual litany of expected behaviors included: 1) Yound ladies defer to males, 2) Find a rich husband 3) Do whatever your husband says , 4) Have 2.5 children, 5) Keep a clean house.
Well Alaris adhered to some of of that "drivel". She married a rich man with 2 children. (Alaris had no intention of producing .5, but he didin't know that... she lied and told him she was pregnant, then convienctly miscarried!) The maid did all of the work and she let her husband believe that she paid him any mind.

Two days ago, Bobby picked Tara up from her place for the New Year's Eve bash.
"She looks amazing! She's a keeper, but I can't tell her!" he thought.
Tara : "Hi"
Bobby :"Hi yourself. You look fabulous. You're worth getting captured with any day!"
Tara:" Oh stop! Ican't say that I'm looking forward to this assignment, but I have to admit it appears to have some perks. (As she not too discretely scanned Bobby in his well tailored tuxedo!)
Bobby:" In case we're being watched, we probably should look like we're .. you know.. a couple."
Tara:" You're right. I hadn't thought of that ... (She's lying!)
Bobby:"Well...Hi again lovely lady..."
Before Tara knew what happened, Bobby softly kissed her mouth, and his cool fingers softly rubbing her burning cheek made his stroking feel both therapeutic and romantic at the same time.
In the surveillance van: Jack, Sue and Lucy.
Jack: That move was unscripted, but in the CoWorker Date Case Rule Book.
Sue: " What book?"
Jack now realises thath he shouldn't have commented this mental thought.
Lucy:" I've never seen any such rule book ".
Jack: "It's out of print ..ahem..surveillance is what we're doing .. right?" .
At the party they coyly laughed and danced. They pretended to be a real couple quite effortlessly. There were moments when Tara almost forgot that they were on a case... but never completely. She mused about Bobby ... no one knew...but did Bobby somehow sense her feelings?

Mrs. Danner took a liking to Bobby, that he didn't reciprocate whcih made her angry. Eevrytime she instructed her henchmen to hit him , we cringed , beacasue itermittently the cuff link camers worked.
But we experienced a problem with location tracking.
As Tara and the children left the tunnels, they tripped sensors and automatic undersground explosives (that felt like slight tremors). These explosives closed off the entrances /exists . But Mrs. Danner 's most instriguing innovation was the activation of the bullet train like movement of the space /room housing Bobby.
Bobby was housed in a desending moveable chamber serveral meters underground and miles aways from the New and Improved Holiday Inn.
Mrs. Danner 's first husband was a propulsionist theorist/scientist with a flair for building actual size prototypes of his theories. Poor soul , Dr. Klaay had no idea just how seriosuly his wife really took his work!.
After she stole his work it, adn had it improvedwell he was no longer a viable entity, an she had him eliminated.
We now had a situation that made finding Bobby extremely difficult.

Mrs. Danner: "So, you're here. Where's my jet?"
Tara:"Let us both leave."
Mrs. Danner: " You'll both leave... feet first over the ocean."
Tara:" You'll just gain more enemies. You'll have nowhere to land."
Mrs. Danners:" That will be my problem ..not yours." Anyway, I have safe haven."
Tara:" Impossible."
Mrs. Danner:" There are places even you don't know about ..agent!"
Tara: "What are you talking about?"
Mrs. Danner:"Your boyfriend must really care about you. Do you know that he intermittently calls out your name? In fact, I have on solid authority that you two have been skirting around each other for years, and not doing anything about it. You two and another couple in your Unit. You see , I have my sources, everywhere."
Tara:"Really, then you expected us."
Mrs. Danner:" Of course! At my level of work, one has to keep enemies close, and moles even closer!"

Danner's attempted backhand slap at Tara resulted in Danner's wrenched wrist, who let out a surprised cry. She would also be surprised to know that Tara's hairspray containing a radioactive isotope was slowing down the mechanism of this moving torture chamber, thus allowing the Bureau to locate them.
Cloaked, this isotope was undetected by Danner and harmeless to Tara. Tara has only to leave a few hairs behind if she separated from Bobby to signal the rescue ...but she was determined to find out more about the Bureau's mole!
Tara:" So you really think that you'll get away with this?"
Vocie:' Oh we will!"
Tara :" I know that voice... but it can't be...no!"
Stanley walks towards her.

I've been using and changing the access codes every five minutes while tracking your work and others with my own system. Codes you'll be proud to know I've been developing all along. Once on your site, accessing the hidden codes I planted that could quietly swell into your system and appear as waste by-products of data was all I needed.

By the way, that was a very touching scene with you and your boyfreind here. Too bad you also thought that I was blind! The looks you gave each other wereless obvious than Jack and Sue's, but screamed for attention!.
