Tara awoke with a jolt and was shocked to find out she was in her own bed. She quickly sat up and glanced around. Her surprise continued when she saw Bobby lying on the floor beside her bed with a blanket pulled up to his chin. She held back a chuckle when she saw how his feet didn't even fit under the small blanket.

She watched him in wonder. His eyes fluttered while he slept and she wondered what it was that he was dreaming about. He slowly, pushed the blankets back and moved to his side. She smiled as he ran a hand through his hair. She couldn't tell if he was still sleeping so she checked the clock. "Oh no. Bobby!"

Instantly he sat up. "What?!"

"It's 9 o'clock." When she jumped up, he suddenly grabbed her around the waist and pulled her into his lap. It was quite the fall but he broke it with his legs.

"It's also Saturday."

She breathed a sigh of relief then giggled. "Okay. I'm sorry for waking you."

He shook his head and smiled. "Don't worry about it. Now," He slowly leaned forward and she did the same, anticipating the kiss. But just as he came to an inch close to her, he jumped back.

Her eyes flittered open. "What?"

"I just realised I might have morning breath."

She couldn't help but laugh as he stood and whispered, "I'll be right back." He dissapeared into the hall but came around the corner only a few seconds later. "Do you have an extra toothbrush?"

She smiled and nodded. "It's in the far corner cabinet."

He nodded. "Thankyou." Then he dissapeared again. Then, appeared. "What about toothpaste."

"Third drawer to the right." Once again, he nodded and walked away, then peaked around the corner again.

"What about.."

"Oh brother!" She stood and laughed as she walked to the door and gave him a push towards the bathroom. When they arrived she pointed to every drawer and told him what was in it.

"Thankyou." He said again as she left and closed the door. She walked to the kitchen and started getting the ingredients for pancakes.

"You okay with pancakes?" She asked when he walked in.

He nodded and smiled. "Yeah, that sounds good to me."

She chuckled when he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist as he placed his chin on her shoulder. "Good morning." He said quietly.

"Good morning." Slowly, she turned and smiled. "We didn't.. you know, do anything last night did we?"

"Nope." He said as he broke apart and leaned against the counter in his casual ways. He gave a smile then said, "You were very tired so I just brought you to bed and I slept on the floor."

"Speaking of which," She said, turning back to the stove where the batter was frying. "I seem to remember someone saying that my floor wasn't the most comfortable place to sleep."

He nodded. "That person is one smart drongo. Ya, I've slept on better."

She chuckled then turned the oven on low then walked to him. "Turn around." She said and he obeyed. Slowly, she began to massage away the kinks in his back and neck.

"Um, Tara?" He said after a moment.

"Am I hurting you?"

He shook his head. "No, but I think you're pancakes are done." Her deep intake of breath as she spun around made him laugh followed by her groan.

"Oh no." She held up the pan in which a black pancake sat. "Hungry?" She asked with a sweet smile.

Tracy where is the you were leading up to?! Come on!

You're right! I should've expected to be surprised.

The whole post was just so cute. I love B/T...they're perfect together.

I especially like the beginning. It was a great opening to the scene.

Lucy awoke with a start and almost screamed. Levi, of course, bolted up and covered her face in slobberly licks.

"Oh, Levi, ehh, gross, get off!" She cried, trying to get the 80 pound retriever off herself. He finally stopped and went back to his corner of the bed where he laid down. Stiffly, Lucy stood and walked to the kitchen. Seeing as it was already 8 a.m. she figured she should get up. Sue would be tired after such a long night.

Slowly, she tiptoed to Sue's room and peeked in. "Sue?" She asked quietly, looking in and upon not seeing her, she opened hte door wider. "Sue? Where is that girl?" She asked herself as she turned and walked to the kitchen.

While she ate breakfast, she found her mind wandering back to her dream. "I can't believe my future husband is Randy. Echh." She quietly groaned as she thought back to it. "Yuck." She commented before taking another bite of her cereal. When the door, suddenly opened, she jumped up.

"Good morning, Luc." Sue said as she walked in, a wide smile on her glowing face.

"Um, Hi. Where were you?" Lucy asked, stepping off the couch and walking to the entrance.

Sue shrugged. "I was.. out."

"Where out?"

Sue smiled. "Did my mother call?"

Lucy chuckled. "No, I'm sorry. I was just worried."

"Oh nothing to be worried about. Oh and Lucy, we need to talk."

Bobby could only dream about a future with the woman who sat wrapped in his arms. He knew there was a limited chance that they would ever become a couple and get married. He released a loud sigh and she looked up.

"Are you okay?" She asked, looking into his eyes.

He smiled. "Ya, I'm fine, Luv."

She nodded then looked back to the tv show they were watching.

"Okay, explain to me again what we're watching."

"Oh it's just a show about computer technology."

He arched his eyebrows and she looked up, chuckling. "I know it sounds boring but I learned alot of the stuff I know from this show."

"Then I guess I'll let you watch it. Let me just get some juice." He released her and then stood, walking to the kitchen. After he took the juice from the fridge, he watched Tara. She sat, curiously watching the show. For how much they were different, he couldn't believe how much they had in common. For one, the love they felt for eachother.

He smiled when her eyebrows perked up in anticipation for the commercial break to end. He came back and sat down beside her. Immediatley, she settled back onto his chest. He took the moment that the commercials were on for his opportunity. He slowly lifted her chin with a gentle hand and leaned in, claiming her lips in his. Her surprise was evident as he gently coursed her forward, gently pushing her, though not too much. She responded immediately by bringing her hands from his chest to his face and gently circled them while the kiss deepend.

When he pulled back to check the tv, he smiled. "You're shows back on."

She smiled. "I've learned all I want to know today." She pulled her back to him and he chuckled at her boldness. Never before had he seen this side of Tara and now, that's the only side he wanted to see.

This entire post had me but I think Lucy's dream was what she deserved after matchmaking so much. Also Tara's response after Bobby pulled away from the made me laugh too!

Now.. This is a romance story and I believe you've all been properly fuzzified.. but, it is also a drama/suspense.. It's time for the second to come into place



Lucy almost choked when she heard the good news and from that moment on, Sue couldn't get Lucy to stop hugging her.

"I think you're more excited then I am!" Sue said with a grin.

"Well it's been 3 years! I just.. I can't.." Instead of finishing, she hugged her again.

Sue chuckled then backed away. "Okay, well I gotta go get my stuff out of the car and I'll be right back."

Lucy nodded then sat back onto her couch and smiled to herself but it suddenly dissapeared. "Oh no. That means that old wives tale is right!"

Sue happily bounded out of the elevator and walked to the exit. She walked to her car and opened it, retrieving the things. Jack had driven her back to the FBI where she took her car to his house. They talked for a long time and well into the night until they both fell asleep - and of course, Sue awoke completely startled. Jack calmed her down with one kiss, gave her breakfast and she went home.

She found her bag of folders in the back seat and after finding it, she pulled it up and stepped out of the car. After closing the door, she pulled out her keys to lock it. After doing so, she turned and walked to the building but was stopped when a steady arm came around her neck and mouth.

In any attempt to scream, she bit, scratched and punched, trying to get some leverage - but it was no use. Whoever was holding her was strong. Her mind began to spin as the air in her lungs began to give out until she was left with nothing. Her eyes closed and everything went black.

After 10 minutes, Lucy peeked outside, suddenly worried as to why Sue had been gone so long. She simply shrugged it off and went back to the couch. But after another 10 minutes went by, she became increasingly worried.

Jack couldn't help but smirk at Sue's beautiful expression when he popped the question. She looked dazzling and so free. He had never seen her so happy as to when she saw the rink. She was so natural, so perfect.

His thoughts were stopped when his phone ring. He picked it up, eagerly awaiting Sue's call.

"Hudson."

"Jack, it's Bobby."

"Not exactly who I was hoping, but what's up?"

"Jeff escaped and we have no idea where he is."

That's not good....

My advice to Lucy is to throw out the rest of the wedding cake!! Even though it seems to have worked for Sue, there were a lot of variables involved there and I don't think just the cake did it!!!

Immediately after Jack hung up from his rather angry phone call with Bobby, he dialed Sue, planning on telling her to stay inside until he came. He knew that Jeff would prey on anyone on their team and he knew that Sue was the most vulnerable now.

"Darn it." He mumbled as he heard the busy signal. As soon as he hung up, he tried again. This time it got through.

"Jack?" The urgent sounding voice on the other side said.

"Lucy?"

"Jack! Okay good. I was just trying to call you. Where's Sue?"

"What?!"

"She went out to get some stuff from her car about half an hour ago and now.. Jack, she's not here!"

"Oh God, please no. Okay Lucy, listen. You stay inside, I'll be right there."

"But Jack.. I need to find her."

"No! Luc, please just stay inside."

After a long pause, Lucy finally agreed. "Alright. But please hurry, Jack."

"I will." He hung up the phone and after running a hand through his hair and over his eyes, he grabbed his keys and practically ran out the door.

Sue hadn't had such a bad headache in a long time. It was like a migraine and migraines weren't her favourite things. She opened her eyes slightly and was immediately met with darkness. Pure black. She groped around trying to find some way of knowing where she was. The last thing she remembered was being choked. She couldn't breath and then everything went dark. Finally, she felt above her and was immediately greated with a roof, not 8 inches above her head. The stiffness she felt was unbearable and the nausea that was coming over her wasn't from the headache she guessed. She got the idea that she must have been in a car since she could feel the bumps on the road and the steady bounce of the car.

All her thoughts vanished. What had happened to her? When the car suddenly stopped, she was sent flying into the back of the car where she hit her head - hard.

"Oh, God, please help me." She mumbled as she felt the bruise that was quickly beginning to show. She felt some movement, like the person driving was getting out. She counted to 10, waiting for him to open the trunk, and when he did, she was shocked at who she saw.

Jack drove like a cheetah. Completely ignoring red lights and stop signs. He felt that it would be alright since he had the small red light in the front of his car signalling to everyone that he was in law inforcement and he was in a hurry.

He finally arrived at Sue and Lucy's apartment after what seemed like hours and he drove to the back, making sure Sue's car was still there. When it was, he wasn't sure if he should feel better or worse. He turned off his car and jogged to hers. He felt the doors.

"Locked." He mumbled to himself as he felt all the doors. He noticed how the backseat was empty, meaning she had come to the car.. but not returned to the apartment. Instead of asking himself, he decided to ask Lucy. And quick.

Tracy, you do keep us on our toes!! My legs are getting tired from being on tippy toes all the time!! I'm going under the bed until it's over!!!

Great writing, the suspense is.............very suspenseful!!!

Oh, Tracy, you do love to keep us on our toes, don't you? You little tease! Ph, I just hope Sue will be okay and Jack can get to her before she gets even more hurt than she already is.

Sue could feel her fear mounting as Jeff took her bags away, which held her blackberry.

"So, now that that's out of the way.." He said, throwing the bags aside and out of reach, he then thrust an arm into the trunk and pulled Sue out by her arm. She complied simply because she was so stiff from being in the cramped area. While he turned and gathered her bags, she took the opportunity to look around. A small brick house lay at the end of a long, bumpy driveway, which Sue guessed was the reason she had bumped her head. She immediately looked at the lisense plate of the blue car. Wednsy. She quickly read over it over and over again, trying to memorize it. "Come on." He said, grabbing her arm, and twisting it painfully. She refused to cry out but the tears stayed.

"What are you doing?" She asked him as they walked.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" He asked with sarcasm, but lucky for her, she couldn't hear it.

"I don't know. It looks like you're kidnapping an innocent person for no reason."

"Oh I have my reasons." Jeff said angirly as they walked up the small porch. He pushed the door open and then shoved her in. Then, without a second word, he slammed the door and locked it.

Her fear reached new heights when she saw him go back to the car and back out, leaving her alone. The afternoon sun was high and she guessed it was about 2 o'clock. Jack must know she was missing now. Instead of thinking on the situation, she turned and studied the small house. The kitchen laid directly to the left of the door and the living room was opposite it on the right. She wandered forward and was met with a hallway that contained to bedrooms on mirror image sides.

She walked into the one and was surprised when she saw a phone. Without thinking, she ran to it and picked it up. She had no idea if there was a dial tone, so she pressed the volume up as loud as it could go. She placed her fingers over the receiver and felt for a pulse. When one was felt, she breathed a sigh of relief. Quickly, she dialed Jack's cellphone number. She could feel how the rings would come as a steady pulse then go stop, then come again. When they stopped for good and she felt a low pulse, she prayed he had picked up.

"Jack, It's Sue. I'm okay but I'm at a house. I have no idea where it is. He took my blackberry but there was a phone here so I'm calling on that. I don't know if you're really there so I'll just say it again. I'm at a house in the country but I don't know where it is. He took my blackberry and I'm alone. He left. Look out for a medium sized, blue car with the liscense plate Wednsy. That's W-E-D-N-S-Y. Okay, I love you Jack. Please.. Please come and get me." She quietly placed the phone back down as her sobs took over. "Please Jack.. please come find me."

Jack was shocked to hear Sue's voice and was even more surprised that Jeff had been so stupid as to leave a phone in the building. His breath caught in his throat when he realized that he wasn't stupid at all.

"Lucy, that was Sue. I have to go."

"But, Jack, is she okay?" Lucy asked fearfully as she walked from her position in the window.

He nodded slowly." She said she was. I have to go. I'll call you as soon as I know something."

"Okay, thankyou." She said quietly but she couldn't help the tears that quickly came.

Jack turned from his position in the doorway and walked to her, wrapping her in his arms. "Lucy, it's okay. She'll be fine. We'll find her."

"I know. I know. Okay, you go. Go." She commanded as she pulled back and gave him a gentle push to the door. "Please.. hurry."

"I will." He promised then left.

After locking the door, she turned to see Levi staring at the window she had previously been watching. "It's okay, Buddy. They'll find her." She came to the dog's side and gently rubbed his head. "It's okay." She repeated, more for herself then anything. "Dear God," She began, hoping a prayer might help Sue and calm her nerves. "Please keep Sue safe. I know she needs you right now. Please.. Please keep her safe. Amen."

HE can't believe there was a phone in the building? I can't believe there was a phone in the building. Jeff was stupid enough to have a phone in the building and then leave her alone, expecting her not to use it? Wow... -chuckles- what a genius.

Now that's the kind of criminal that they can easily deal with. I hope Jack finds Sue soon though....she must be so frightened.
