Love the dress. It kind of reminds me of my bridesmaid's dress... except it's white... and it has straps... and mine has its own vail... sort of. Brilliant, though! You picked a very good choice.

I love how Jack had to ask if his arms were too fat. NOTHING could make those arms fat, though.

Jack, Sue, and Lucy had begun their shopping trip at 10 in the morning they arrived back at Jack's at 6 in the evening. They had eaten lunch and supper at the mall and they had all had a blast - that is the girls did.

As Jack dug in the refridgerator for a water bottle, Sue came behind him and rested her arms around his front and her head on his back. "Thanks for coming. Sorry it took so long."

He turned to her and smiled. "It was fun. I mean asides from staring at the same two pairs of shoes for 3 hours."

"Oh come one," Lucy said as she walked into the kitchen. "It wasn't that bad."

Jack chuckled. "No it wasn't. Here, Luc." He said, handing her the water.

"Thanks."

"So," Jack said turning to Sue. "Now that we have the outfits, what next?"

Sue smiled at his enthusiasm. "Well, we need to find the place, get the music and.."

"I claim the music."

"What?" The ladies asked in unisense.

"I want to do the music."

"But.. why?"

"Because I have the perfect song for our first dance." His beaming smile was caught by Lucy.

"But Jack, you know Sue won't be able to hear it."

He nodded. "Yes, I do. And that's why I have the perfect song. Please, just let me do that."

Sue glanced at Lucy who shrugged. "Couldn't hurt." She signed with a smile.

"Alright Jack, you're in charge of the music." He gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek then signed a quick thankyou. "Okay, then.. Lucy, you're job is done since you helped me with the outfits." Lucy nodded as if taking a mental note. "Now.. Oh no."

"What?" Jack asked with a concerned look.

"I need to call my parents and you need to call yours."

"Ya how do you tell them that we're getting married in a week and a half?"

Sue chuckled. "Well I guess we tell them just that. Okay, I'll call my parents first then you call yours."

"Sounds good."



Okay, I'm not sure if I should continue this story up to the last minute so I'll probably just end it soon.. Is that okay with everyone or has there not been enough romance? drama? suspense?

But to be honest, I really didn't think I did well on What God has joined together, let no man seperate was very good and that was a sequel to their marriage so I don't think I'm going to sequel this.. But I'm thrilled that you like it enough that you would ask for one! I'm honoured


Sue had made the call to her parents and told them the news. Her father was thrilled as was her mother. Sue was somewhat surprised by their responses but happy that they were alright with it and that they would be coming down for the wedding.

Next, Jack called his parents and they told them the news. They were extatic. Jack's mother kept saying that Jack was so lucky to be marrying such a wonderful woman - even though he had never met Sue. She explained that any woman who had stolen his heart must be wonderful.

Lucy helped them plan the remainder of the details - all except the places for the wedding and reception. Sue was shocked when Jack suggested something.

"Why don't we get married in the church your parents got married in?" He asked with a smile.

Sue was surprised. "But, Jack, that's a while away. No one here would want to come.."

"Sue," He stopped with a hand on her shoulder. "Everyone here would go to Mars just to see us get married." He finished with a wink to Lucy.

"Jack, I really appreciate it. I really do but I don't really think that's a good idea."

"Why not?"

"Well, first the drive, then everyone having to come early and everything.. I just don't think it will work. But thankyou for considering that. It was very sweet."

He shrugged when she kissed him on the cheek. "Anything for you." He gave another wink.

"Alright, so now that everything's planned, I think I should go home." Lucy said, quickly glancing at her watch. "Oh man it's already midnight. Ya, I really gotta go."

Sue chuckled. "Alright, thanks, Luc. Make sure Levi doesn't sleep on your bed." When Lucy smiled, Sue simply shrugged. "Alright nevermind. See you later."

"Bye." She gave a final wave then left.

"So," Jack said, gently pulling Sue to himself. "How are you feeling about all of this?"

"Very excited. You?"

"Same. But I kinda wish it was already over."

"Why?" Her nose scrunched with her concentration and Jack gave a sidways smile.

"I don't want to wait." He said sadly.

"Well, Jack, it will be over in no time. But in the meantime.. What song are you choosing?"

"Well if I told you it wouldn't be a surpise would it?" He chuckled as he let her go and walked to the fridge where he pulled out two yogurts and gave her one. "I'll get your bed ready."



(I know it's short and boring but I'll have more for you tonight or tomorrow and the wedding isn't actually a week and a half. Actually, I think it will be done within the next few days. And just so you all know, I think you'll be very surprised with the music Jack chooses )

Thankyou all for sticking with me.. As I said, we're nearing the end



Sue couldn't believe how quickly the week had flown by. It was the night before the big day and Sue's dress and Jack's tux had been delivered earlier that night. They both had tried on their outifts at different times while the other person would wait til they were gone - of course, not without the exception of Jack trying to sneak a peak only to be smacked by Tara who had graciously come over to see Sue in her wedding dress.

"I still can't believe this!" She squealed when she saw Sue exit the washroom in the white gown.

Sue giggled. "I know, me neither!"

Lucy, Tara, and Sue talked well into the night while Jack simply sat and watched. Sue wondered how he had been able to sit for 2 hours of straight girl talk and not say a word. Well except for a few "Oh I understand that" and one "You better believe it." He sat patiently, waiting for the night to end so he could talk to Sue alone. The girls finally left at around 9 so Sue and Jack decided to spend the remainder of the evening watching a movie.

It had been Jack's choice and Sue had been fully prepared for a bloody and gorie movie but instead, she was pleasently surprised when he placed a home made video in. It showed Jack sitting at his kitchen table, looking directly into the camera. Jack quickly muted it then sat onto the couch, gathering Sue into his arms. She watched the words carefully as the came across the screen.

"Well it's the night before our wedding." The TV Jack said with a smile. "I still can't believe that it's really here. Sue, I wanted to give you this before our wedding because I wanted to show you how much you really mean to me! You've given me so much more then I could ask for. In the first place, you were a friend to me when I was an idiot. Second.. well you said Yes when I asked you to marry me. Sue, I've never loved anyone as much as you. I really wish I could have said it sooner but since I'm.. well.. me, I couldn't." Another sideways smile filled Jack's face. Sue watched the screen intently through tear stricken eyes. "And I hope you'll take me for who I am and for who I will be. Miss Thomas, I love you truly."

With that, Jack's image dissapeared from the screen. Before Jack could stand to stop the tape, Sue leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. "Thankyou." She said quietly as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He hugged her tightly in return. Sue was safe and she was his.

Earlier that same day, Jack had received a call from Bobby saying that Jeff Taylor had been apprehended. Apparantly he was trying to drive to Mexico but was stopped at the border. They found an illegal firearm and pulled him in. They then recognised him and handed him over to the F.B.I. Bobby also informed him that Karlee had been released after her trial since the court decided not to convict her. Karlee and Sara were safe and would be together on Valentine's Day.

But Jack's real thrill was the fact that the woman who was crying joyfully in his arms would be his tomorrow. He craved the thought of tomorrow. He felt like a child on Christmas Eve. Only this Christmas was going to be better then anyone he'd ever had.

And Sue felt the same. She had never been so excited - yet terribly nervous. The place had been found and booked and the outifts were chosen. For some odd reason, Sue was worried about Jack's choice in music. He told her that he would choose the most romantic song he knew for their first dance but for some reason, even though she wouldn't be able to hear it, she feared for the other people. She guessed it was because she could imagine them dancing to Old Timer Rock and Roll.

She pulled back from Jack's arms and gave him another gentle kiss. "Thankyou, Jack. And I love you too."

And now, laying on the couch, Sue stared at the ceiling in eager anticipation. Her parents had called earlier and said that they were spending the night in a hotel and they would see them tomorrow.

Sue was shaking so hard by the time she got to the church. It had already been decorated by Lucy, Tara, Bobby, D, and Myles. The group had asked to do it and after such short notice, and after having no other planned decorators, they agreed. And it was perfect. White roses sat on every pew end. White bouquets filled the front while white candles staged the front. Sue walked slowly to the front. Even though her outfit only consisted of a sweater and jeans, she felt like this was it. It was a practise run but she couldn't wait til the real one.

Sue, Lucy, and Tara arrived at around 4 pm since the wedding would be at 6. They immediately went into the nursery which had been altered into Sue's dressing room. A long mirror stood in the centre of the room just off the washroom. The pink wallpaper with balloons and giraffes only added to the sense of joy that had enveloped the small church. The one they had chosen had literally no centimental value to Sue but Jack had been the one to choose it and since he was only in charge of the music, she wanted to give him an extra job. And he chose it perfectly.

"Sue, you look beautiful." Lucy and Tara said simultaneously as she walked out of the washroom and looked at the mirror.

"I'm so nervous." She said with a smile.

"No need to be. You look wonderful. Okay, so now.." Lucy said, stopping as she turned then returned and held a white veil.

"Oh, Luc, I never got a veil!" She suddenly, said astonished that she could have forgotten such a thing.

"Don't worry. Jack supplied it." Lucy quickly yet gently, placed the veil over Sue's long, blonde hair. They had contemplated pinning it up but one look from Jack and they decided to leave it down.

"Jack.. Jack supplied it?" Sue repeated, unsure if Lucy had said that. When she nodded, Sue was speechless. The long veil cascaded down her back and ended at her feet in a small pool of lace. It was simple, yet breathtaking and it fit perfectly with the dress. "Oh, It's beautiful. Can you tell him thankyou? Oh, and Tara, can you give him this?" She asked, turning to Tara, then handed her a small white box. She nodded and walked out, heading to the Pastor's office which had been turned into Jack's dressing room.

"You look nice, Mate." Bobby said as Jack tightened the bow tie that sat around his neck, then loosened it. "Listen to me," Bobby stated, laying two hands on Jack's shoulders, stopping his nervous fiddling. "You look fine. Now, just stop it before I throw you. If you keep talking and moving around, I might just have to clobber you."

Jack couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, I'll try to stop."

When a steady doornock sounded, Bobby went to it and opened it. "Good afternoon, Luv." He said, allowing Tara enterance.

She smiled. "Hi." She then turned to Jack. "Oh, wow, you look very handsome."

He nodded shyly. "Thanks. Aren't you supposed to be with Sue?"

"Yes but she wanted me to thankyou for the veil and she also wanted me to give you this." She gave Jack the box then bowed out, closing the door behind her. The church had become a flurry of activity while the caterers came through, bringing to food to the back which had been turned into the reception hall.

Slowly, Jack opened the box and found a small letter. He unfolded it and sat onto the nearest chair, reading it slowly

My Dearest Jack,
I wanted to give you this as a small token of my love and appreciation. I wrote this last night because I couldn't sleep and I was so excited. I needed to write something to someone so I chose this to you. Jack, you are so wonderful. You gave me the most breathtaking engagement ring and the place in which you asked.. Well lets just say I will never forget. I love you with all my heart and while this really is no match for the tape you played for me, this will have to do.

Quietly, Jack opened the office door and peeked out. Since the office was just off the main sanctuary, he was able to see what was going on and who was all there. He quickly checked his watch then glanced out. At 5:30, many people were already there, taking their seats or talking to others.

Jack immediately noticed his parents walking in where they were met by a smiling Bobby who greeted them with handshakes and smiles. He then directed them to their seats. Since the wedding was on such short notice, they didn't have anyone to act as their greeter or seater so Bobby, Myles, and D volunteered - And they were doing a wonderful job.

"How are you doing?" Jack turned when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

He shrugged when he saw Lucy. "I'm okay. How's Sue?"

Lucy's grin grew wider as she glanced around the small room. "She's fine. But I'm not sure if I've ever seen her so nervous."

Jack smiled as he loosened his shirt collar. "Ya, she's not the only one."

"Are you nervous about being in front of everyone or.. marrying her?"

"I think I'm in shock."

Lucy smiled. "Ya, I'm pretty sure that we all are. But, you'll do fine. I just can't wait." She gave Jack a quick hug, then said, "I need to go get changed but I'll be seeing you in a little while."

"Okay." With that, she turned and walked out the back door of the office which led directly into the back where the nursery was. The wedding would begin in 30 minutes.

Bobby welcomed everyone into the small church, then brought them to their seats, where he gave them a goodbye and walked back to the front. The same thing happened over and over again. Shortly after the people had stopped coming, Bobby went to D's side and leaned against the lobbie's wall. "I think, if I ever leave the F.B.I., this will be my second choice of employment."

D gave a tired smile then turned back to the front. "The pastor's coming up. You're next." He pointed to the front of the church and immediately, Bobby pushed off the wall and walked to the kitchen which was off the lobby and met Jack who was coming to get him.

"You gotta get up there."

Bobby nodded then gave Jack a pat on the arm before walking to the office where he stopped at the door, took a deep breath, then pushed it open and took his place at the front of the church. Jack followed suit.

"Are you sure I look okay?" Sue asked as she pulled the dress' end to her hands so she could walk faster. Lucy and Tara quickly followed behind as they made their way to the lobby.

"Yes, you look wonderful." They both said over and over but stopped when they reached the lobby.

D met them there with a smile. "Sue, you look beautiful." He gave her a gentle hug then looked back through the open door to which the sanctuary was. "You're on." He said as the music began to play. Lucy walked in first, then was followed by Tara. They stopped at the front and Tara couldn't resist giving Bobby a wink. He grinned back.

To everyone's surprise, Levi trotted through the middle walkway, carrying a basket which held the rings. Everyone laughed as the Golden Retriever kept walking til he reached the front, then halted and sat directly beside Bobby.

Sue was next.

Honestly, that's not so surprising. He is the Wonder Dog after all. Tracy, you've got me on pins and needles. Can't I just have a sneak peek at the ceremony?
