Exactly 5,000 words. WOW! This story was so unique and the ending so much fun and so sweet. I hate to see it end. Once again thank you.gif

Marlene you clever, clever woman! I'd totally forgotten about the proverbs until that last post! You are brilliant! And congrats on the 5000 words...that takes true talent and exceptional discipline. applause.gif Oh -- and I know what Jack and Sue can do with they'r crockery pieces....I saw this really cool garden project where you can cover a step or make a stepping stone out of cement and imbed broken dishes in it...kind of like a mosaic. Perfect project for the newlyweds!!!!

perfect10.gif Oh Marlene, you're amazing! The way you worked in the proverb (which I'd completely forgotten about until they started breaking dishes) was incredible. I loved the proposal. Perfect. And I'm really impressed by the 5,000 words. I have to be honest and say that I didn't think you could do it, blushing.gif but I'm so glad you did. outstanding.gif

Kav, I saw a project once where you take broken dish pieces and made a coffee table top out of them in the same manner. Very pretty mosaic. Another perfect project!!! They will be very busy......when they are not "busy". blushing.gif

Marlene...........nice use of the table rofl2.gif . You had me rolling on that one!

And congrats on 5000. thumbsup.gif You caught me by surprise! Way to go!

On a mission trip to Mexico our team took some glass bottles, hammered them into pieces and made a mosaic cross, about 3-4' high, to hang in the church santuary where we were working. It made a beautiful cross.
