Dear Diary,

I suddenly realized today that I hadn’t bought Sue a Christmas present. I am hoping that Jack gives her an engagement for her present, but that doesn’t help me any. I got Levi five coupons for free baths, and brushings. I HAVE IT!! A gift certificate at a salon for a massage, facial, and all the accessories.

Perfect!

Maybe I should get one for Tara too…yeah, I’ll do that. She would like that. I don’t think she does much personal pampering. I will have to change that a tad. tongue.gif

Dear Diary,

It snowed today! It was so beautiful, but just a bit cold for my liking. Allison and Jacynthe came over. They played Clue with Sue and me. What a whiz at that game! Jacynthe beat us to pieces. And WE are the work for the F.B.I.! That explains her success as a DA. I invited them over again tonight to play with Jack and Bobby as well. I think they’ll be smitten with Bobby... Wait, I don’t think they’ll be smitten. I know it.

At least the rest of us will have a fair chance of winning then.

I need to get something more for Bobby’s Christmas present. I think he will notice that I got everyone else really expensive presents, but his is relatively inexpensive. I don’t want him to be hurt like that. Oh, I know! A year’s worth membership at a yacht club. He’ll like that.

Cool!!! A double post!! Welcome back, web! I really like how you write Lucy... excellent! thumbsup.gif

Woo hoo! I'm a whiz at Clue! clapping.gif
Thank you! Since I don't seem to be very good at connecting STFBE to other shows (a game on our forums that has me puzzled more often than not!).. it's a relief I can be good at something. thumbsup.gif

And you know you are welcomed to posting more of that story. eyepoke.gif

Dear Diary,

Well, I was right! Poor Allison could hardly keep up with the game because she was so busy ogling Bobby! But this is the strange part…Jacynthe was about to melt too! Of course Jacynthe won once, then Allison, and then Sue won! But then we asked Allison her trick. She showed us how to better keep track of people’s cards. And it works! It’s really strange, but effective.

Oh, my! It’s good that Allison is interested in Bobby, and not Jack…could you imagine the confusion? “Alli the present girlfriend VS Allie, the old girlfriend…they are having it out in an alley….and they both brought their allies to help!”

Scary.

We have a new case. Someone is stalking Jacynthe, and she is scared to death. She is staying with Tara in a safe house, with Bobby and Allison playing the parts of the neighibors. SOG is watching, but so far they haven’t seen anything suspicious.

This will be a tough case. If it’s hard when there are no suspects, it’s ten times harder when there are hundreds of possible suspects. You see, Jaycnthe is a very successful attorney in Quebec and she is here on a visit to the assistant DA. She has worked as a prosecutor for several years, and got many people convicted during her time there. No wonder she is so good at Clue.

Of course this is also a classic case of real life getting pushed aside for the job…today IS Sunday, you know.

Oh, DUH! Why didn’t I think of that?!?! Just check a list of all the people she got convicted, then check if any were released recently…and how many came to the U. S.

Sorry diary, but I gotta run.
Jacynthe
Oh, I have my very own stalker?!?!? huh.gif

How did you know this is what I wanted for Christmas? Who have you been talking to? laugh.gif

This is just too funny. Me being a lawyer would sure come in handy at times!

ohmy.gif Uh-oh...things are heating up! Great additions webgoof...the two Allies were so funny...I think my Dad is ready to send me to the insane asylum, though. He keeps finding me staring at the computer screen, laughing my head off!

Alice, I think we're all turning into comedians on this forum one time or another. LOL

and Tiff, I seem to be getting my Christmas presents a lot lately, in many forms. LOL Just waiting on the 6'3" form to darken my doorstep. If I'm to wish and dream, might as well do it in style! rofl.gif

Dear Diary,

I said it last week, and I’ll say it again. I hate Mondays! What with all the paperwork from the case this weekend, it was twice as bad!

The good news is that we caught the perpetrator. It was a young woman whose dad had been convicted of murder on circumstantial evidence only. Not a pretty sight.

I think something’s brewing between Bobby and Allison…at least, I hope so. I mean, staying in the same house, posing as a married couple has GOT to have stirred something!

I think that poor Jacynthe was really jealous of Allison……until she met Myles. They are a perfect match. They sparred over whether the convicted father was really guilty. Myles of course thinking that the evidence was as he so aptly puts it, “flimsy at its best, but as it stands, it is most assuredly not at it’s best.”

You gotta love his wit. He’s really crusty, but once you get used to him….pretty nice man overall.

Of course Jacynthe won the argument, (She’s the female!) but Myles didn’t look entirely convinced. Perhaps they should meet sometime and discuss it further! Now that’s an idea!

Dear Diary,

I hate it when plans backfire!! Jack took Sue out to dinner this evening, and right now they are sitting on the couch, necking! Necking!! Now if Sue were Allie, then that would be a good sign. But Sue isn’t Allie. (thank goodness!!) Sue is much more sensitive, and self-conscious. She is going to go back into her shell when they are done. The further they get along tonight, the further she will retreat. Jack needs to go slow each step of the way, and show that he is doing it because he loves her, not rush into it as if he needs a ‘quick fix.’ Like I said, that’ll drive Sue back into her shell.

Ugh! Ok, I guess you could say that I am ticked, but can’t I be?’

Guess who is getting a talking-to tomorrow! He’ll never know what hit him.

Right now I think they have kissed for 20 goodnights. I’m off to stop them.

Type to you later, Diary.

Dear Diary,

Well, I was right. Sue was as reticent as any shy creature you can name. And Jack was dense enough to not know why!!! UGH!! Men.

Makes me glad I am not even dating. But I took jack out to lunch, and gave him a stern dressing-down. I think I made him feel bad. I hope so. Matter of fact he invited Sue out to dinner again tonight. Took some convincing (of course) but she finally gave in. They are still out. They had better not be at his apartment. If they are…….he better be glad that I don’t carry a gun.

Ah! There’s Sue there….and she sounds like she has stars in her eyes.

ACK!!! I so don’t believe my ears!! I’m not typing it down….just in case I am wrong, but … WHOEE!!!!!

I’ll let you know tomorrow.

Dear Diary,

YAHOO!!!!!!!

I am SO entirely excited, I can hardly type a coherent sentence!

Apparently last night after dinner, Jack took Sue to the park, where they had a nice long talk.. They aren’t engaged yet, but unless I miss my mark, they are pretty close! About last night, my ears did work properly!! Sue told Jack “I love you.” And I am about to melt all over again!!

Apparently “operation admission” was a success.

Sue told me that Jack said that he wont propose to her until he has properly courted her. And I am left to wonder where I can sign up for a cloning machine.

Even Allison noticed the stars in Sue’s eyes today. And of course Jack couldn’t keep his eyes off Sue.

Oh! In all the excitement I nearly forgot another tidbit of news. Jacynthe and Myles have been going out regularly, and things are actually progressing quickly…in fact, there’s a chance they will marry on Christmas!!

And Bobby and Allison…what can I say, except….whirlwind romance?

She’s already asked to be transferred out of the team!

It seems that Cupid had poisoned the coffee at the bullpen…maybe I should drink more of it.

Now we’ll be getting a new agent top replace Allison, and then Eventually Sue will marry Jack , and they’ll have kids, requiring her to eventually leave…

All of a sudden our bullpen will be changing!

Oh, yeah…the party is tomorrow night! Maybe I should decorate for Valentines Day instead of Christmas!
justme_jp3
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing developments!!! Keep going, web!

SIDENOTE: Thanks for posting today! hehe wink.gif

Ok, I am not the type to appreciate long engagements...the shorter the better, IMHO.

SO...Things this week will seem a bit rushed...and a bit of a stretch, but I have full confidence that Lucy already has a lot of wedding-related stuff cased out and selected, so as not to waste time should Jack and Sue ever come to their senses. biggrin.gif

Dear Diary,

Well, today was quite a shocker! We decided not to bring dates…just make it an ‘office party’ of sorts. It was a raging success, and so without further ado….the list of the notable presents!

We already know what I bought, so I am not going to go over that. Big surprise…Jack and Bobby got together and bought Tara an extremely expensive, top-of-the-line laptop…the fanciest there is. She was thrilled. D. had some fun this year, and gave all the guys these atrocious ties…they all matched. His philosophy: “I got one for Fathers day, and so I figured I would share the joy.”

Tara gave Jack and Bobby (collectively) a soft football. “For security’s sake.”

Bobby got D a reciept…reservations at the Hyatt for New years eve and New years day. (I gave him a hint on that one.)

Then the big one! Jack gave Sue a small white jewelers box. When Sue saw it, she gasped and tried to refuse, claiming that it was too expensive. (yeah right…look at the other presents girl! Wake up and smell the coffee!) But Jack won out, and now Sue is proudly displaying a piece of jewelry Jack’s great-grandfather had extra-specially made for his future wife. It’s solid gold, with flawless gray pearls alternating with blood-red rubies, and a LARGE diamond gracing the center.

I have never in my life seen a more beautiful necklace!
lilsmoochiegirl
WOW he sure is spending a lot on Sue even if his great-grandfather made it!

Dear Diary,

Well…it’s really going to be strange next year. Myles and Jacynthe are going to get married on Christmaas day. They decided to do a double-wedding with Bobby and Allison, who are also engaged.

They announced it over lunch today…now the mad rush for preparing all this in a week! It will be held at Myles’ house, and that saves a little trouble.

Sue's parents are coming in for the Christmas week-end…and I am hoping really hard that they like Jack…a LOT.

Anyway…I am tired after helping plan the wedding, so I’ll keep this short.

And it’s going to be a simple wedding!!

I’ve said it before, but some things are worthy of repeating. ‘I wish there was another Jack!!'
lilsmoochiegirl

Dear Diary,

I am so glad it’s the week before Christmas! We have the week off, presuming there are no cases that come up.

All us gals have been running around all day, getting things ready for Allison, Bobby, Jacynthe, and Myles’ double wedding. I am so glad they want it to be simple….no bridesmaids or groomsmen, except for Sue as Maid of Honor and Jack as Best Man.

I wonder who’ll catch the bouquets and garters? Ooh! And it’d be a double-duty one at that! I hope the saying is true, because then it’ll be doubly so with Jack and Sue!

Tara called a little while ago…She and Stanley are engaged. It looks like I am going to be the only single person in the office. Depressing.

Perhaps I should look into some online dating service.

I’ll just elope with Levi…no wedding to plan, no frills, and a really sweet guy!

I wonder it Myles/Jacynthe and Bobby/Allison would like to make it a triple wedding…
