But... -pauses as she sniffs the air- is that a possible sequel I might be sniffing in the future? Or am I just getting my hopes up?

Linny, you're nose is working over time! But, I think I might be able to make a sequel - just for you wink.gif

Thanks for the nice comment, ella! Hmm a sequel just for you, huh? Would you prefer for that to be after Linny's? biggrin.gif

Well, Tracy, you’ve done it again…right off the bat! 2.gif

We have two posts, four mysteries. Nice hooks! Oh, no! A stroke! Oh, I’m crying with Sue. That’s awful! Oh, I’m with Joy…Jack should drive her to Ohio!

Mrs. Mary Green? Hmmm, any relation to the Sarah Green, I believe the third victim in Clues? Maybe her mother?

Hmmm again! Now who would his brother be?

I’m surprised that Sue didn’t want to see her dad. I would have thought she would want to race to his side. And “brother?” Boy, did Sue ever break Jack’s poor heart with that statement! And now Lucy is getting a letter? Tracy, you are doing a fantastic job of stringing us along with this mystery. Well, Linny, re your comment: I wonder if everything is connected in some strange, twisted way. I don’t see how the letters could be connected to the stroke Sue’s dad had.

Okay, off they go to find Mrs. Mary Green. And, Jack, shame on you for thinking of wishing you had gone on a date with Jesse! For shame! for shame! for shame!

Sorry to hear about your twisted ankle, Tracy. I hope it is all better by now!

Ornella, re your comment: So, Bobby is Mrs. Green's favourite agent... I can't blame her! Mrs. Green hasn’t met Jack yet! laugh.gif

So, why would her son send the letters to the FBI? Maintaining the mystery here, Tracy…great job! yourock.gif

I’m sorry….I’m laughing so hard at Myles remark…."Well that went well." Myles said as he walked to the window. I know, I’m sorry, it isn’t funny when someone commits suicide like that…but, I can’t help it…that was sooooo Myles! Tracy. Great line! Hehehehehehehe! Trying to calm down…I’m giddy from tiredness! Okay, I’m calm now…heheheheheh! Okay, really, I am suitably sorrowful. Let me see…how are they going to solve the mystery now? And, who will tell his mom? Bobby, I suppose, since he is her favorite! That was awesome Tracy! What a way to hit us…bam! dance.gif

Oh, I am tired! Good catch Cindy, about the floor. Did he die? Or just escape? Aw, I bet he just escaped. Oh, I had the same reaction as Kav on Myles' comment!!!!!!! angelnot.gif

Uh Oh, Tracy…I, um, uh, hmmm, should I or shouldn’t I? I guess I will…you changed the name of the newspaper on us…from Washington ‘Times’ to ‘Post’ in this post (Posted by: tracyfbeye May 7 2007, 08:51 PM

Dimitrius, Bobby, and Myles stood in a circle outside of the Washington Post.

Sorry to point that out, but it just jumped out at me! Did anyone else mention it? I guess, I’ll find out when I read the comments.

But, first, I’ll finish the post. So, Cindy, you were right! Great catch there! Gotta love that Myles and his sarcasm! I could just picture that interrogation scene on the show, Tracy…good job! applause.gif outstanding.gif perfect10.gif

(I'm breaking my comments up so they won't be so long. And please excuse any mistakes; I'm too tired to proof this post.)

What? Sue didn’t go see her dad? I’m shocked!

Now, she gets a letter from the commander, and it turns out John Green was a General? Wow! It just occurred to me that I didn’t know what spring event this story is based around! MEMORIAL DAY! Duh! The guy was killed in WWI and this all has to do with the holiday! And the Parade, I was trying to figure out where the parade came in. Tracy, I’m sorry, in my rush to read the story, I didn’t even notice which event this was based on. You know, I think maybe he wasn’t really killed in the war and that is the underlying reason for the letters being sent to the FBI. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

Again, she opened the door widely. "Two visits from the F.B.I. In less than a week?" She asked curiously, looking to Levi and then to Jack, her eyebrows batting. See, I told you she hadn’t seen Jack yet…and what does she do? Bats her eyes! smile.gif

Okay, I’m quitting for the night. I can’t keep my eyes open any longer. I'm even too tired to add the smilies! I'll pick up on page 57 of 88 or ready for Posted by: tracyfbeye May 14 2007, 02:29 PM

I’ll finish in the morning. Outstanding story, Tracy! yay.gif

The mystery deepens. Why would Rob try to kill him? And what revelation came to Sue? My mind is too sleepy to think straight this morning. other-countingsheep.gif

Oh, I have a feeling things are going to start kicking in to gear and happening very fast now! 15 Minutes left before 5p on Memorial Day?

That was good Tracy…now Jack and Bobby are following Rob down an alley. Oh, this doesn’t bode too well…it could be an ambush, to get them out of the way.

Well, I’m glad that went well. I always think the worst! Couldn’t have our favorite guys getting hurt now, could we?

Oh my gosh! Abused? Well, are you sure Tracy? Cause, he could be just trying to make a defense for himself. I’ll read on and see. Pelican Mail? Oh, my, I’m rofl2.gif

Okay, are we now going to have a kiss between our favorite couple, Tracy?

I’m laughting even harder now at your question Cath… what does jack want with sue, has he ben writing love letters to her? He wants to find out if Sue really thinks of him as a brother! Right Tracy? Right? Oh, no, not you too Cindy?

Oh, the last post, so soon? He looked up quickly, almost surprised. "Are you okay, Jack?" She asked quietly, her eyes gazing into his. melting.gif

I’m getting a warm fuzzy feeling here. I can just see Sue’s gentleness, compassion, coming out! Again, she touched his arm, but this time, she gripped it, causing him to stop. "Jack, what's wrong?" He glanced down then back to her, meeting her gaze again. melting.gif

And more fuzzies! Oh, when she touches him, I can feel it thru the words, Tracy! "I don't think you could have said that any better." He couldn't help but laugh as he pulled her to him. The embrace that followed seemed more to Sue than an embrace ever had. fanning.gif melting.gif fanning.gif

Oh, that was beautiful, Tracy!!!!!! Perfect! dance.gif

And Linny is right…you captured the hesitancy of Jack on the show wonderfully. I can just see it in that last little clip they always show. Outstanding job on this story, Tracy! outstanding.gif

Lynn

PS.…I loved your word Linny…bumble. It fits Jack to a T!

Oh, a sequel on top of a sequel? No, two sequels? How awesome! Be sure and let us know when that happens….hey, you could write it for the summer challenge!

hey, you could write it for the summer challenge!

Thank you, again, for the wonderful comments, Lynn! (and everyone!) smile.gif

And I tried to add the sequel to the Summer Challenge but it had to be a standalone, thus came the story posted now.

I will, however, post the true sequel either in WIP after Matchless or the next challenge, if it can be a sequel.

Again, thank you and thank you all for your fantastic comments!! adulation smilie.gif
