Great story so far....
Well, at least Lucy isn't falling all over James now, like she was when he first joined the team!

Chapter 11 part III
“Luce, that wasn’t very warm…” Sue told Lucy that evening when they were preparing the dinner.
“I know, I didn’t plan to be warm.” She replied her. “I liked him when he joined the team. But after the accident with you…I just…I can’t date someone that thinks my best friend jokes about her impair.”
“Lucy, you just signed that you can’t date him…” Sue signed and spoke.
“Maybe I signed what I really think.”
“I was really interesting who do you go with to that party now when James’ off…”
“I still have a week to find someone.” Lucy wanted to say something else but phone interrupted her.
“Phone…Lucy Dotson…Hi Myles…OK. I’ll be there in ten minutes.”
“You won’t believe it…Myles just asked me to meet him.”
“Myles? Our Myles Leland???!!!” Sue was startled as never before.
“Yeah.” Lucy said barely believing it.
“OK. Go…go…go! And don’t dare to come without saying Myles asked you to go with him!” Sue teased her as Lucy did every time she went with Jack on dinner. Lucy smiled, took her coat and left the apartment.

Chapter 12 part I
Friday, 21st September was finally here. They didn’t have to go to the bullpen, since Bureau gave them this day off. No one could wait until evening. It was 6 pm when someone knocked on Sue’s and Lucy’s door.
“Door…I’ll get it.” Lucy said and opened the door. “It’ Charlie.” She shouted even she knew Sue can’t hear her.
“Hi Charlie.” Sue greeted him. “Levi, say hi to Charlie. You’re gonna spend night with him.” Levi passed his pad to Charlie. “Thanks again, Charlie, I really appreciate it.”
“You’re welcome. So I’ll bring him in the morning. And you have fun on that party!”
“We will. Bye.”
Charlie left with Levi and girls turned back to getting ready. They had make-up and hair done already.
At 7:30 they were heading to Plaza, where they were supposed to meet with others. Guys were already there. D with Donna and James with Tallie were inside. Tara came first. When she got out of the car, Bobby forgot how to breathe. She was wearing a brown/gold dress with length to knees with V-neck, that showed enough to take man’s mind away and confessed back. During those 3 years her hairs grew longer and she had them down tonight, so they were maidenly covering her shoulders.
“Hi Bobby,” she said when she came to him, “Jack, Myles.”
“Tara…you…” Bobby couldn’t speak, “…you…are…beautiful.”
“Thank you. Sue and Lucy are here yet?” she asked with calm like she wore outfits like this everyday to work.
“There they are.” Jack showed on incoming car. Sue got out first. Jack has barely breathed neither thought or talked.
“Hi, Jack. Myles, Bobby.”
“Hi. And Luce?”
“Going.”
Jack still couldn’t say a word. Sue was wearing grey/silver long dress without the straps and with red silk strip at the top and bottom of the dress. She had a hairstyle very similar to that one on bachelor party.
“So, Jack, will you say at least ‘hi’? She teased him. Jack swallowed, took deep breath and said: “Hi. You are beautiful.”
“Thank you.”
As much as were Bobby and Jack impressed by Tara and Sue, was Myles impressed by Lucy. As the only one she wore black silk trousers and red corset top. She had wool hair and they were covering her shoulders.
“At least once you are impressed by someone, Myles.” She teased.
“I’m more than impressed. I think my heart stops beating.” Myles replied.
“So tell him to start. We have a party to attend.”
Guys offered their arms for girls and together they came in.

It surprises me that Lucy would be wearing pants/trousers...but that is just me!

Chapter 12 part II
“Jack, I’d like to talk to you…” Sue started to speak.
“About what?”
“Well, I’ve been thinking a lot in past few weeks…” she started, but Jack cut her off.
“I’m sorry, guys there,” he pointed on a stage by head, “want to speak. We’ll continue this, I promise.”
And the speeches started. As last spoke FBI director through TV Bridge.
“…Many laws changed through these past 100 years, but since government allowed women to join FBI, one law is still unchanged. It’s dating policy. In this policy is claimed that 2 members of same team can not date together. We also know, this was eluded uncountable times. So our government decided to give you, all FBI workers, a present,” director swallowed and breathed in.
“I’m really interested what it is.” Tara said quietly.
“I think I know it.” D whispered.
”What’s it?” Lucy asked.
“Psht.” In that moment Director continued.
“That present is: canceling mentioned dating policy with validity since 1st October 2008.” Everyone in the room started to clap. Directors also said thanks and have a good time, but no one paid attention. They were too excited about canceling the policy. When people calmed down a little, Sue and Jack has gone to other room, so they could finish the conversation.
“So, what did you want to tell me?” Jack asked.
“Well, I’ve been thinking a lot in past weeks and…” she took a deep breath. “I wanted to go to D in Monday to tell him I wanna leave the FBI…”
“Leave? Sue? You can’t do this to us; tell me you wouldn’t do it.”
“Actually I would, and I wanted to, Jack. I can’t fight it any longer. The truth is I wanted to leave, so I’d be able to…tell you…that I love you…and I wanted to leave…so we could be together, but now…if what director said is true, then…”
“Look, Sue…” Jack held her hand. “It is true. And I want you to know I love you, too. I’ve been so stupid that I didn’t tell you earlier. Please, Sue, can I ask you for something?”
“You can ask for everything…”
“After 1st October, will you be my partner…not only in work, but in my life?”
“Of course I will, Jack. Of course, I will…” She hugged him tightly trying to fight the tears of happiness. They remained in hug till someone didn’t tell them that it’s not very appropriate.
“Tara…” Bobby started when they were dancing.
“Yeah?”
“You are so beautiful…”
“Thank you…again.” She smiled.
“You know what it means?”
“What?”
“That on next Monday, we can kiss and we won’t risk our careers.” He whispered to her ear.
“But I can kiss you like this,” she gave him a little kiss on cheek, “as a thank for a dance.”
“I like that…” he kissed her on the cheek too and they kept dancing.
The party went better and better, even James realized he should care about what people think of him and he apologized to Sue.
“Sue, I…want to apologize. I just haven’t put two and two together, which I should have, since I’m an agent. Will you forgive me?”
“I already did. You’re not the only one who was confused from it, but you’re the only one who thought I’m joking. Where’d you learn that signs?”
“Tallie’s mum became hard of hearing after car crash in her 14, and Tallie is a teacher in deaf school, so she teaches me to sign as well.”
“And you couldn’t believe I’m deaf, because I work in the FBI. Don’t need more explaining.”
It was party with a big P, until around 2pm didn’t ring their phones, that Caravagio died in a hospital, so that previous case is closed now and that they have a new one in Virginia.
