Wow, what an ending to a marvelous story! girl_sigh.gif
GinaSue
I dunno, Tina . . . that may have needed a TEN BLUSHING SMILEY WARNING! blush.gif hehe.gif WOW! girl_sigh.gif I've been gone a couple of days, and come back to perfection!

You know, one of the things I love most about your writing is that you weave such funny lines in with even the steamiest scenes, and this one is CERTAINLY no exception! I think one of my favorite lines was . . .
QUOTE
“Excuse me Mr. Hudson, just exactly what kind of girl do you think I am?”

One brow arched as the other dipped, giving him the rakish look of a pirate about to take advantage of some damsel that had become his latest acquisition. “Don’t play innocent with me.. I know exactly what kind of woman you are.”
. . . because that's how married people ARE. You've got a married Jack and Sue down to perfection.

Another part I really liked was this . . .
QUOTE
He blushed from the toes up under her gaze, but the grin he’d sported since she came into the bedroom stayed firmly in place.
. . . because that's another thing that's so true to life. The idea of Jack Hudson being caught off guard and BLUSHING is so darn endearing! Wow.

I've loved this story from post one, and look forward to cutting and pasting it onto a Word doc and putting it on my flash drive like I did "Kentucky Rain," so that I can pull it out and enjoy it at the MOST random times. I foresee reading this one over and over again just as much!! Thanks for sharing with us your humor, your command of fuzzies, and your wonderful, wonderful storytelling ability!

And by the way - and I think I probably speak for many of us here - you, along with many others on the board, but with this story more recently, have ruined regular old utilitarian showers for life . . . girl_sigh.gif

When I saw 'last post' I was wondering if we were having the 'shower scene' this time...

You didn't deceive us!!! WOW!!! What a hot one that was!!! blush.gif l_turn.gif post-71242-1112188113.gif

It was a pure delight to read your story from post one to the end. I'm thankful to have such good writers around here!

Oh dear... blush.gif blush.gif blush.gif

I knew I shouldn't have read this before I posted on my fic. Now I can't even remember my own name!

A very mushy, gooey, melty post Tina. Jack and Sue are loving married life, I see. And I'm so glad Jack agreed tht SUe could totally redo the bathroom. I think it was well worth it!

Another excellent story from you, missy! It's a shame you don't write more. giggle.gif Think of all the possibilities of writing something like this but in an even greater scale!

melting.gif Oh dear... I melted myself.

Lisa?... No... Lucy?... No... Lindsy! Ha! That's it!

Okay, Tina, I did it and you know what I'm talking about. And gee, was this ever worth it! I'm with Marlene blush.gif faint.gif melting.gif

You expect me to go take a post-71242-1112188113.gif
now, to get ready for this evening? But, but, but, but, who wants to go take a shower by themselves after that? I wish, no, not that I had a Jack, I wish I was Sue! blush.gif faint.gif melting.gif

I agree with Regina, I love the touches of very realistic humor you bring to even these inimate moments. However, I do beg to differ with you on one line....
QUOTE
Her sneeze brought her out of her indecent fascination.
Even though I loved it...there is something so delicious about the word "indecent"...I didn't see anything "indecent" in Sue's fascination there! After all, they are married, so anything goes, right? blush.gif

And you masterfully gave us what we clamor for in a very delicate, sensitive way! You're writing is amazing! adulation smilie.gif adulation smilie.gif

Now, I'll have to go back and do you know what!
She gave him a head rub as they moved into the living room, turning off lights and checking the lock on the front door. She made it a point to peek out the curtain toward Mrs. Breathitt’s house. The elderly woman lived all alone and Sue had taken it on herself to keep an eye out for her in between visits by her daughter who lived across town. Seeing that the house was dark except for the small light in the upstairs window, she smiled and headed toward the stairs. Mrs. Breathitt had devised the signal as a way to let her know all was well, flipping the switch on only after she climbed into bed for the night. Now that the neighborhood was tucked in, Sue could concentrate on her own bedtime preparations.
I don't know why, but I loved this little extra detail -- so Sue, but it also conveys how settled they are in their home, how content she is as part of a couple now. It's just a feel good paragraph -- especially since I know that Jack is concentrating on betime preparations as well. batting eyelashes.gif
he lay there bare-chested, and as far as she could tell, with only a sheet, that dipped dangerously low, covering his hips and legs?
THUD!!![/size
Jack quirked a brow and threw the sheet aside, bolting after her and catching up just a few feet from the bed. Scooping her up and enduring her squeal of surprise, he carried her into the tiled room that had become a favorite destination at the end of a long day fighting crime.
biggrin.gif blush.gif And what would a kmt123 story be without a shower scene, hmmmm?
“I had my heart set on a long, relaxing shower to work out some of the kinks from doing all that planting. Mind telling me why, exactly, I should give that up?”

“So, you’re feeling kinky, hmmm? “ Jack caught his lower lip between his teeth and spiked his brows upward at the prospects that presented. “All the more reason to let me join you, I could help take care of a few of those for you.”
THUD!!! THUD!!!
Teasing Jack intent on celebrating their one month anniversary!!!!
She giggled as he blew a strand of it from his mouth after attempting to kiss her neck, advancing toward the bed all the while. When he stopped abruptly and scowled at the bed, she turned to see what could possibly put that look on his face after their bathroom interlude.

Levi lay square in the center of the king size bed, stretched from pillow to foot with the sheet Jack had discarded tangled around his back legs.
LolLolLolLol.gif Can't blame a dog for trying.
One of the hardest things to adjust to since Jack had brought them to this nice, new doghouse, was knowing when she needed him at night - and sometimes even during the day - and when he would get an “Oh no… Levi!”

Deciding tonight it would be the latter, he tried to tune out the noise; only lifting his head once when Sue called out…

“Oh… J-a-a-a-a-a-c-k!”
LolLolLolLol.gif LolLolLolLol.gif blush.gif blush.gif hehe.gif What an awesome ending. But I'm terribly sorry to see it finished...surely you have something up your sleeve for us?

Tina, to end your story with a shower scene is truly "Tina"!! I love it!!!

I agree, that was a wonderful last post!! I love that Sue was checking over the little flower plants she had put in that afternoon!! And, checking on the neighbor before she went to bed is just what Sue would do!! She sounds very happy and content!! Who wouldn't be?? Jack, waiting for her in their bedroom, wearing a sheet, ready to celebrate their one-month anniversary!! Be still my heart!!!

Absolutely perfect from the first word, Tina!! Thank you so much for sharing once again!!!

Tina I was so far behind on all these stories after my trip to NY, I decided to print the rest of this out last night for my bedtime reading. It was so wonderful....until SIMON!!!! shakes head.gif I was all set to come after you for bringing Simon back, until you so nicely got rid of him. Poor Sue, but I agree with Jack, he was asking for it.

Anyway, needless to say, you have redeemed yourself with this wonderful ending. I loved the dinner and when they discussed getting married etc. And then Jack's creative Anniv celebration. blush.gif girl_sigh.gif

Has anyone figured out how to clone Jack yet? I definitely want my own Jack, just like this one. hehe.gif girl_sigh.gif

Levi is tooooo funny. giggle.gif It's a good thing for Jack and Sue that he's catching on to people lovers language dogdance.gif LolLolLolLol.gif
