Good...one thing clarified now...time to clarify to thing between Jack and Sue...now!

There were about 2 dozen people in the apartment-one of many in Sue and Lucy's apartment- Some sat at the sofas, some on chairs and others on the floor as Myles "the director" spoke in front
Just then a middle aged African-American middle aged man stood outside about to turn the doorknob , he slipped in unnoticed but just then Lucy turned around in time to see him, she let out an excited shriek, everyone but Sue turned to the door, upon noticing it she too looked to see what got everyone's attention.
"Missed me?" his eyebrow arched and his tone teasing D stretched his arms out for hugs
The girls- Sue, Tara and Lucy- rushed over to where D stood to give him hugs, the gentlemen acting tough extended their hands which also ended in a quick embrace..
the girls were already asking him all sorts of questions, all at the same time and at a rate of 100 words per second
D simply smiled at the scene, 2 months was too long to be away from these people.

After the quick introductions everyone went back to work...
The next step was to decide who gets what role...
Gina Lovett was introduced as their pianist, while several other kids-neighbors and friends of the team- were also assigned to play various instruments and any other things needed.
the other parts were determined by picking names out of hats-Bobby's idea- first was of course the lead roles- Claire Pendleton and Will Robinson-
"Drum roll please.. Myles requested as he took a name from 'the boys' hat' and the 'girls' hat' .. Our lead characters are Sue Thomas and Jack Hudson!" Myles announced at that moment the 4 agents shared knowing smiles (before the meeting began they stuffed the hats for the lead roles with Sue and Jack's name-they knew their friends will be upset if they knew but it was for their own good.) Everyone cheered at the announcement, Sue and Jack awkwardly looked at each other trying to smile- Sue had wished that she would get a minor part since it would be hard if she didn't hear what was going on while Jack just didn't like the idea of acting in love with Sue when he really was- the rest was casted:

Myles-the narrator, director and writer
Lucy-(Mariane Mitchell)
Tara- (Diane Smith)
Bobby- (Jonathan Wright)
Sue's mom and dad ( decided it would be fun to join in)-as Claire's mom and Dad - Lydia and Eliot Pendleton
Jack's mother and father (was coaxed by Bobby to join in)- as Jack's guardian
Sammy- Ms. Adriane Richardson
Debbie (Bobby's current girlfriend)-Libby Lovato
Eric (Jack's old high school buddy and neighbor, whose son is one of the instrumentalists)-Michael Finchum Will's best friend
Amanda (who begged Sue to let her join)-Alyssa Montenegro
Mark, Kendrick and Hendrich (Myles' friends)- would be the house servants
Libby, Addie and Anna (Tara's friends)- some of the female servants
*so that there won't be confusion the servants will retain their name
and other parts of the cast was announced

"People, we all have to take this seriously,we practice every afternoon for four hours if you have any complaints you may leave now." Myles said in his coach-like voice (similar to the one he used when they had a football match with the DEA) pointing to the door he had a determined look on his face

Myles gave out scripts and one by one each character had to read all his lines, Myles was very critical, so everybody went home about 10-except the children whose parents fetched them at about 9 pm- Jack approached Sue and signed should we practice our lines together sometime he smiled Sue nodded in agreement this didn't escape Lucy's sight.
satisfied Jack continued to glance over his script as he walked to his car
"So every thing's ok with you and Jack?" Sue's roommate inquired
"I decided that we could at least be friends and no matter how much it hurts now God has a plan." Sue answered convincingly-but somehow she was still trying to convince herself

At Jack's Apartment

Jack trying not to be obvious stared at her, her eyes sparkled at every line, her voice so full of emotion, her hair so....
his train of thoughts was interrupted when Sue in a concerned voice asked "Jack? are you ok?" snapping out of his trance Jack nodded and replied
"Sorry, I was D-a-y-d-r-e-a-m-i-n-g"
Daydreaming Sue signed
Jack copied how her hands moved, then pleased with his new learning
"so want me to walk you home?" Jack asked
"umm, actually someone's picking me up"Sue said aware of the awkward silence that's gonna follow
"Oh! " Hands in his pockets he tried to start "Sue, will..." Just then the doorbell rang
gesturing to his front door Jack signed Door with a polite smile he opened it and standing outside was a man probably in his thirties with well kept blonde hair and piercing green-blue eyes, about 6 foot in height, wearing a business suit-Jack took that all in in the first 5 seconds he saw the man- smiling the man offered his hand to Jack, Jack paralyzed in his standing position limply shook the other man's hand..
Sue emerged at that moment, the man and Sue shared a smile, Sue introduced the guy as Leo, but said nothing more.
Jack closed the door after introductions were made and leaned on the door for the next 30 minutes.

Something was ringing he wasn't sure what and he didn't care, but upon identifying it as being his phone, against his desire not to answer it he picked it up, an Australian accent was on the other end
"Hey mate, watcha doing?" the voice was cheerful, too cheerful
"As of now sleeping!"his tone grumpy
"it's only 7, and you're only 36 why would you be in bed at this hour?"
Jack didn't want to explain, he didn't want to talk but somehow Bobby got him out of bed by threatening to keep calling until he came over

He walked to Bobby's apartment as if he was a zombie, wandering the streets but his attention wasn't on the road, his mind still on a certain blond, Sue.. he thought, why does it hurt so much.. a stray tear escaped from his eye, he balled his hands into fists.

for once in 4years he was able to be honest with his best friend he was able to tell Bobby Manning that he without a doubt was in love with Sue Thomas.. he was happy that they had their talk and now he was ready to face the woman he loved.

It was their 29th practice session and tomorrow was the big day... more than 2 dozen people gathered in the spacious apartment everyone in total panic, last minute props and costumes were being finished, everyone practiced simultaneously so the whole apartment was full of noise... everyone was shouting... that lasted for 2 hours then it was time to go home
Before anyone left Myles gave a speech..
"Tomorrow is performance night, I know everyone's excited, just remember, get enough sleep tonight and I will see you tomorrow."
Everyone bid each other good night, Jack was going to Sue when Leo-the blond guy who fetched Sue appeared, Jack stood for a while observing their conversation, they talked about something then Sue hugged him, seeing that broke Jack's heart, all week long he had been itching to ask Sue who the guy was but he couldn't, he admitted it to himself just last night, for 4 years he's been having this indescribable feeling, especially when Sue's around, once he even thought that perhaps it was infatuation, Sue is beautiful but as time passed the feeling didn't go away... and yet he got so used to hanging out with Sue that he didn't mind it, he didn't want to lose another friend, but last night he decided he couldn't fight the feeling and that he needed to tell her how he felt, because for the 99% chance that Sue didn't feel the same way, there was that 1% that she could... the events of the past week confirmed it, it seemed from monday to friday someone had been trying to get them together,
Monday they were stuck in the elevator but when the electrician had a look there wasn't a problem, someone just hit the stop button or something
Tuesday they met in the park, where Sue never walks Levi and he just went to today-no one knew he was there except Sammy
Wednesday they both got stuck in the closet of Sue's apartment...
and a lot more of those shenanigans Jack wondered if it was just another one of Lucy's attempt at matchmaking or were they signs..
all of this he was thinking when he went to bed that night and as he turned the lamp beside his bedpost off he decided that he will tell her tomorrow no matter what.

Saturday night-contest night
3 other teams went ahead all with well written scripts and great acting, but the team was confident with what they had.
It was finally their turn, the curtain went up

*note: words in bold are the narrators lines, the italicized word

Claire Pendleton sat at one of the school cafeteria's benches in deep thought of what she and her father talked about the other night.. the stage lights close and then opens again, in the Pendleton's house in Eliot Pendleton's office
"Daddy! what's the idea of inviting Jonathan Wright to MY party " Claire said, emphasizing MY.
"Sweetheart, it's about time you got yourself a husband." his father replied firmly
"Dad! It's the 21st century I can get married when I want to.."
she walked out slamming the door really hard as she got out
"Dear, don't you think you were a bit too harsh with her?" Lydia Pendleton asked as she emerged from the curtains
"Honey, we're used to our Claire but people in the outside world aren't going to accept her for who she is her handicap prevents that, we have to make sure she has a respectable husband." he answered to his wife, he started glancing at a few papers, just then Lydia sat on his desk
"Well why not let her fall in love first, let her have her freedom then after that I'm sure she'll be willing to follow your plan."
taking his wife's hand he kissed it and said
"you're right..." a plan was hatching in Eliot Pendleton's mind

Meanwhile backstage.. as Sue and Lucy were readying for their scene, Jack who was nearby heard Sue saying something about going to Denver by train after the show and being engaged.. this totally stunned Jack but as Sue and Lucy were next he couldn't ask

Slamming her room's door Claire plopped on her bed and sighed
"What's wrong Miss?"
Mariane Mitchelle, the Pendleton's maid and Claire's best friend asked
turning to the maid "Mariane, I told you, call me Claire"
"but Miss Pendleton.."
Claire gave her a look
"Claire.. so what happened?"
Just then Joy Lovato, one of Claire's friends sat at her table asking her what she's been up to lately..
completely shaken out of her musings Claire shook her head and started eating... their table started to fill up and pretty soon random conversations started.

*note: I can't write out the whole play the one's I will be posting is a fast forwarded version.. enjoy!

The play continued for the next half hour, Myle's rich voice rang throughout the auditorium..

Claire watched as people laughed, dance etc... she planned all the details of the party herself except the music-since she couldn't have picked a good one- but now she was bored, she wished that the party was only intimate friends but since her father was the famous Eliot Pendleton, Lawyer extraordinaire.. she sat staring at people from her school and children of her father's clients.. incidentally Will who wandered from his crowd saw Claire, curious as he always was he started talking to her, sue was somewhat distant and cold yet warm because of the way she would listen, but every time someone called her name she didn't seem to notice.. and that was how Will discovered Claire's secret... they started to have secret meetings just as friends-especially since Will had a jealous girlfriend.. but a lot of people were against their love so Libby a girl who was deeply infatuated with Will decided to poison Claire...

Final Scene
Will ran and ran, hoping he could find Claire in time, it took him a while to find the antidote but now he had to find Claire before time ran out... his heart pounded with each time lost...
but finally he found her hidden in Alyssa Montenegro's cellar...

the stage turns dim and the lights open once more to Myles and the team, in a place much like the bullpen with Myles ending his story "And they lived happily ever after.." he gave a satisfied smile to the team then to the audience then everyone gave their bows..

6 other teams performed, the team sat at their place anxious for the results but listening attentively to the rest of the performances.. then it was time to announce the winners.. first third place-group 1
second place-group 9
"And now our first ever champions!!..." the announcer announced building up the excitement Group 3
The whole team cheered with excitement, tears of joy were found in the girls' eyes, the boys patted each other on the back, a month of hard work has paid off.. after going on stage the place was a bit of a chaos, Jack was trying to find Sue, upon locating Lucy he asked her if she saw Sue, Lucy said that she was on her way to the train station.. panic overtook the happiness in Jack's heart, he needed to tell her, he rushed in his car going as fast as the speed limit allowed, he groaned at the red traffic light, relief found him when he saw the train had not yet left.
he looked for Sue, he saw her, silently thanking God, he rushed to her side, Sue saw him as he touched her arm, panting... too tired and full of emotion to speak he signed
Sue.. I, I... he lost was he was trying to sign but regained what he was trying to say Sue, ever since the first time I met you, I knew that you were special, but then I thought just as a friend... time passed and I realized I cared about you as more than a friend and even longer I was sure it wasn't infatuation.. but I was always scared, I feared that we weren't meant to be more than just friends.. but now I've figured out that I can't go through life not telling you... Sue I love you he finally said, he stopped panting, he didn't want to look up, afraid of Sue's reaction but he stared at her face on..
Sue smiled, that lovely smile he thought
"Jack"she said in her soft voice, she giggled a bit "I love you too.."
"really!"he answered not believing his ears
she nodded shyly
his face a bit confused "what about Leo?"
"what about him?"she said as if the night Leo showed up in his doorstep didn't matter
"Leo is a cousin of mine who needed help in proposing to his girlfriend.."she said explaining not sure what to say really but it was the first thing that popped to his mind
"So you're not dating him?!" Jack said in a voice almost too excited
"no.." Sue answered then she chuckled a bit at a thought "You though..!!" she laughed a bit "that I was dating Leo!?" her sentences were filled with guffaws "Jack! when I said date I meant I was meeting someone.." she said in a matter-of-fact voice
Laughing along Jack smiled, so happy he lifted sue up in the air and gave her a quick peck on the lips and then hugged her as he put her down..

After saying goodbye to Leo and his now fiancée they walked down the park hand in hand... they were still chuckling the day's event, heading towards D's place for the victory celebration.. they didn't want to think of the no-dating rule nor anything anymore they were just contented for the moment.. and Levi who walked between them was happy with seeing the faces of his master and his second favorite human's faces smiling, he wagged his tail fast as they strolled along.. the autumn leaves falling slowly.
"This is the best autumn I've ever had.." Jack exclaimed

Little did they know that in D's apartment, one austrailian, a brit 2 african americans and a couple of americans were watching the couple happy that the rule was no longer a problem and that finally after 4 years it happened...
