I received my first review this week. Not sure who was the most excited, my publisher or me. I received 5 hearts, the highest rating from The Romance Studio. Here’s an excerpt of what Dee Dailey had to say:

J.S. Marlo has woven an excellent suspense and romance. We get some edge of our seat scenarios after things blow up or people are kidnapped or some other weird thing happens.

There are many excellent interactions within the tale that keep it moving. It's one of those stories where we know the villains early on but that doesn't interfere with our enjoyment of the chase or the evolution of the romance between Hauk and Star. I found this a great bit of writing that kept me interested from first page to last.

This story combines two separate mysteries with a very good love story. Star and Hauk are an unlikely pair despite their shared interests, and that makes the story even better. Star’s search for her missing mother leads her to some very hazardous places, but the boat is equally dangerous. Hauk’s crew suffers along with the two main characters and help in the investigation. I loved how the two mysteries became intertwined with the love story between Hauk and Star. The climactic scenes are very exciting and lead to a satisfying conclusion. The setting and exciting, romantic plot make this a story I will read again soon.

I received another review this week. 5 books from Long And Short Romance Reviews (Great book! You really loved the characters and the plot and would consider looking for this authors back list or making her an autobuy). Here’s an excerpt of what Orchid had to say:

Sabotage, explosions, kidnapping, savage dogs, this story has it all, plus moment of pure romance which slot in quite naturally. The hero and heroine's aspects on what is happening is supplemented by the attackers point of view so the reader gets the whole story, but without any spoilers to give the game away.

I found this book captivating and although daily life forced me to stop reading at times, I couldn't wait to get back to the story. The whole book made me feel I was there, taking part in an event which actually happened. The characters came across as real people who interacted in a natural, if explosive way.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes intrigue, romance and mystery. The author has amalgamated all three seamlessly to provide the reader with a fascinating book which is a pleasure to read.
