I owe a great deal to Gary Johnson for loaning me tools and guidance to hone my craft. Thank you Gary, for being a mentor and a friend.
I wrote a couple manuscripts, joined RWA and went to my first conference in Dallas, TX. Kensington Books bought both. The following month I signed with my agent, who I adore.
Thank you guys again for the warm welcome back.
All the best,
RW

I will echo looking forward to reading your stories. Ever since I came to RFF in January of 2008, I've heard of your stories, and can't wait to check them out. I'm sorry, as Cath said, that you've had such a rough time. It makes it hard to keep going sometimes, doesn't it? But in the midst of it all, congratulations on your book sale! It's always exciting when a fellow-RFFer becomes an author in their own right!

Jen, excited to read you're rejoining our posting community. Yes, you and your stories have been greatly missed. I'm looking forward so much to reading them again. I have always been a fan of yours.
Very sorry to hear about your father. My condolences. And my sympathies with regards to your step-mother. I understand how difficult it is -- I've had an aunt and a sister-in-law succumb to the illness. I guess we just have to keep on being strong and get through it. You are in my thoughts.
On the brighter side, congratulations on your books. You have my envy.

Hi Jen!
Compared to most of the others who have commented, I am a relative newcomer to RFF (only 2 1/2 years) but I want to welcome you back too! Joining RFF has been a wonderful 2 1/2 years and has given me so many blessings. We are such a tight-knit group out here and I know you are the foundation. Thank you!
My condolances in the passing of your father and father-in-law. I'm sorry your family has suffered so much with these horrible diseases. May God be with your stepmother and bring her and your family peace in the coming days.
Congratulations on the publication of your book!

Wishing you much success. I definitely am going to place an order and can't wait for it to come. Would it, by any chance, be out on CD? I make frequent 10-11 hour road trips back and forth to see my elderly dad and have discovered the wonderful world of books on CD. I wish RFF could be on CD, then I wouldn't fall so far behind on all my reading out here.
I have a question...now don't laugh....

what is a bookplate?

Thanks Jen. I know what you mean now. My ex-husband used to do that with our Book-of-the-Month club books way back in the 1960's.

I had forgotten about them. For some reason, the image of a metal plate kept leaping into my mind! I think I've lost my mind!

Jen I'm so sorry you've had more than your share of heartache with family losses. My prayers for you and your family.
I'm so excited you have a new book released and another one coming. I'll have to run out and get it.
I've always enjoyed your stories immensely and have missed them since they disappeared.

Will you be able to post your original stories? I'd love to read them again. One of my all time favorites is still Bermuda Hearts. I love that story so much. I can absolutely get lost in that book and I like that. Thank you!
I'd also like to thank you again for the huge part you played in the birth of RFF. It must be nice for you to see the fruit still growing five years later. We are very grateful.

Hey Anne,
Thanks for the kind words

.
RFF - five years is amazing and wonderful. It is incredible to see all the stories that have been created, all the friendships and the wonderful karma that makes RFF so special. I am thrilled to see how far it has come.

It seems like I'm so sorry and congratulations are in order. I haven't been around for a while now (couple of years) but always remembered how much I liked your J/S stories. I returned when STFBE reappeared on my television on GMC. I was thrilled and wanted to read your stories. I googled the site and returned. Was disappointed that I couldn't find them. Took a bit to dig around on the site and find out what happened. I hope everything settles for you. Good luck. You've got a great talent and I'm hoping to receive your original fiction for Christmas.
