Sue thomas walked in with Jack and Lucy, her best friends.
Lucy and her were actually more than best friends, they were roomies,and told each other everything.

But, Jack was also more than a best friend...but, unlike Lucy, she didn't know how..

Ever since the undercover marriage,the kiss in the office, and the general akward situations, both Sue and Jack seemed to be flirtatious.

The team didn't help either.They were constantly bugging sue and jack, but surprisingly,neither found it as a discomfort.

Bobby, catching Sue's attention, said "Jack, Sue, did you two have a sleepover, Sparky?"

Sue blushed profusly as she contered "Well, bobby, maybe if you'd spend less time at work, you would've joined us for breakfast.Then, you would've gotten a free meal, and you wouldn't be starting any rumors."

Bobby nodded and winked at Jack.

Bobby thought "This will defiantly be a holiday season no one will forget.

Lucy and Sue walked inot the bullpen signing eagerly to each other. Lucy stopped and got everyone's attention

'You'll never guess what!"Lucy said

"I dunno, what?" Jack said

"Sue and I have this great idea." Lucy said.

"Go ahead Sue."

"Okay, well,Lucy thought we should have a christmas party.. and I thought it was a good idea.."

'However, then Sue had a better one.."

"Well, I figured since we are all currently single, we could celebrate christmas together.The holidays can be kinda tough, if you've just broken up..And so with Jack broken up with ali, bobby with Darcy, Tara with stanley, and Lucy with Steve-"

"We thought that we could PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

D brought up a point " Sue, are you currently available.Or is your dance card full?"He eyed Sue suspiciously.

"O, D, I wouldn't plan something if I wasn't involved.No, David and I broke up last week."Sue looked down as she said it, still a little sore around the subject.

"I'm sorry to hear that shiela,but David wasn't good enough for you."

He winked over at his best friend. Sue saw that, but chose to ignore it.

D looked over to jack, giving him a look that said

Now's your chance, buddy!

So, Sue came up with our awesome idea!!" Lucy loved parties and was totally involved.

"Myles interjected "What about me, you didn't mention my latest breakup?"

Jack added "I didn't know you could keep a girl that long" He smirked and everyone laughed.

"Myles, you're invited too, unless.. any of you have plans..."

"Oh, No," everyone said

"You know, I was kind of dreading the holidays but now i'm looking forward to them!"Tara said

A cheer went through the office.

"So...we should start brainstorming what we'll do."

The six single friends, along with D, the married one, all had a fun time figuring how they were going to keep each other company this Christmas.

The mood in the office was sullen the next morning.

"I don't believe it!" Jack said.

"This is such an insult!A disgrace to the f b i! Myles said.

Sue, who by now looked utterly confused said

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Jack turned to her and said "Ted thought the team could use a break from heavy cases, so he has us going around Washington D.C. trying to find out who is taking Santa's money."

"What?" Lucy asked

D continued " For as long as it takes we have to try and catch theives taking money from charity:you know, those places in the mall where Santa rings the bell?"

"Ya, what's so terrible about that?"

"Sue,"Jack said frustrated "We take down druggies, smugglers,murderers and kidnappers.Now we're probably trying to catch a bunch of rebellious teens who need quick cash.

Tara stated "Oh, come on, we can do it."

"Oh really, well, just so you know,the thieves have robbed three places...So, we are breaking off into teams, a man and a woman."

"Some costumes are being sent over to us from the charity.They want these guys caught." D added. "I will be in the van and behind the scenes.However, I need one more person...-"

As if on cue, who walks in but Eleanor.

"Hello everyone," She says, looking at no one but Jack.

Sue sees this and is not impressed.

Eleanor rushes over to Jack

D explains to the, now upset team "Eleanor will be helping us."

Sue takes a sip of her coffee, reading the conversation between Eleanor and Jack.

"So,Jack, I heard Santa needed a little elf." She put her hands on his chest. jack looked very uncomfortable as Sue choked on her coffee.

"Actually,"D came to the rescue "Eleanor you will be helping me with other things," as the whole team snickered, except for Sue who looked mildly peed off.

Jack took a step backwards and said "The teams are Lucy and Myles, Bobby and Tara, Sue and Me.Any problems?" He smiled until he heard

"But Sue's deaf, I would be much better undercover.She can stay and read lips.Come on, you'd be much better with me, Jack" she said grabbing his arm.

Sue went to get up, but lucy came over, seeing how upset she was.

She signed " Sue, its not worth it."

Sue signed " She's just like everyone else.She thinks just because I'm deaf I'm good for nothing."

The whole team had caught most of the converation.

Eleanor said, dumbfounded "What did she just say."

"I said," Sue got up, "that you should listen to instructions because the man you're all over happens to be your boss for a little while."

"I'm not the only one all over him,Sue. You are too!"

"Oh, am I? I'm not the one holding on to his arm and saying " I want to be your elf, Santa."

Bobby began to laugh, while everyone else stared at Sue in amazement.

Eleanor released the grip of Jack's arm as Jack said " I, as your boss "he smiled at Sue sitting at her desk "Say that you will stay behind with D.sue can read teh lips of everyone around her."

"Okay guys, lets get to work" Nobody, however, really felt like working as they could feel the tension between both women.

Once, again, they were working on a Saturday.
The women walked into the bullpen a little cheezy, but drop dead gorgeous.They had spent yesterday afternonn picking out the outfits.

Tara looked the cutest, wearing red striped stockings, a green top and a green hat.Everyone siad she looked adorable.

Lucy was wearing green stockings with a green shirt and a red, long stocking hat. She definatly looked like Santa's little helper.

And Sue, well, she just looked funnily beautful.She was wearing both red and green stockings with a red shirt and a green/red hat.

'So, watca think gentlemen???"Lucy asked

"Do we look like Santa's little helpers?" Tara giggled as she said it.

"You guys look great." Jack said.

Sue did not look up. Lucy knew that she was feeling bad about yesterday, but what could she do?She did the right thing by protecting the deaf culture (A/N You go sue!!!!!!!!!!!)

"Okay, santas get on your costume and we will be all set." D said.

Eleanor walked in, eyeing the three women " Oh, wow, what a turn on.. " she said sarcastically.

"Well, actually.. we thought so, right guys?" Bobby said.

The whole team was in shock.

Bobby signed "What, I'm just sticking up for Sue...What eleanor did yesterday was wrong."

The other men agreed with Bobby's comments.

Sue smiled at all of them and completly ignored Eleanor as the men went to get changed.

When they came out 15 minutes later, Lucy said

"i didn't know guys really cared about how you look."

All eyes were on Eleanor as she stared at jack.

Myles said "Eleanor, wo hoo?!!ya there?"

Eleanor snapped back to reality sheepishly. Sue shook her head and sat down.

Sue thought

My god, she has it good, but I am not losing jack without a fight.

AND, as an after thought, she is NOT invited over christmas eve.

She smiled at the thought as the team rose to go to the malls

I love this story. I like how Sue really got to Eleanor without her catching on. I always knew Sue would be a little more agressive and out spoken when there was somethings she really wanted.

Once again, the teams were back a the mall.

Yesterday's long day of charity had brought the fbi no closer to the theives.

However, all couples had a fun time.

(Recap of yesterday)
Stone Mall

Tara and bobby were having a fun time. They had noticed no theives, but as people put in money they said to each other

"my my my what a lovely young couple.'

Tara blushed at this comment and Bobby laughed.

The two could fell the sizzle between them.There was defiantly love in the air.

Bobby said " So, what do you want for christmas from Santa."

Tara, in all seriousness, said " Somebody that loves me.Since my breakup with stan, things have been lonely.I'm so happy that Sue thought we should celebrate Christmas together."

Tara wiped away a tear from her cheek as Bobby hugged her, trying to comfort her.

Once again, an elederly couple said "honey, remember when we were young and in love.

Both secretly smiled at the thought.

Washington Centre (made up names)

Lucy and Myles were having a less amusing time.

Both were on their toes with being arond each other.

Sue had offered to switch, so that both women would be at ease, but Lucy wanted to give Jack and Sue time alone.


Finally, after 45 minutes of silence, Lucy said,annoyed

"Myles, what is wrong."

"Lucy, ever since we broke up, I've never been comfortable around you."

"Ya, I can see why."

"Lucy, I need to apologize.I should have apologized before. I'm sorry."

"Okay, myles.What's done is done.Lets put it in the past and move forward."

"Great"

The rest of the day went by mch more smoothly.

Fairvu Plaza

Now, one day later, Sue thomas stood, tired and annoyed.

She had been reading people's lips all yesterday, and she just wanted this case to be over.
Jack and Sue had said little to each other, because of Eleanor.

Sue didn't want to know any more than she had to about that awful woman.

Now, on the second day, Jack couldn't take it anymore.He loved working on assignments with sue, but you could cut the tension between them with a knife.

Jack waked over to Sue, saying "Sue, look about the other day, I'm sorry about Eleanor."

Sue's cold eyes turned toward Jack "I didn't know you were Eleanor."

"Well, I'm not but-"

"Jack, you did nothing wrong.It was Eleanor and her big mouth."

"Well, thank you for getting her off of me."

"Your welcome, but I won't do it again I did it to stand up for me...your a big boy and can certainly stand up for yourself... unless, of course you like her..."

Sue looked away.Jack said as soon as she turned back " I-"

Suddenly. out of the corner of his eye, he saw two teens, who looked about 16.

Jack turned back to the money.Sue followed his gaze.

He turned to her.

"Can you read what they're saying."

Sue started "The one guy says,'Wow, look at that elf. She's a- I " Sue stopped and neither were impressed.

She said "More talking about me...The one guy wonders if Santa is dating the elf.The other guy says he'd be crazy not to,"

Her voice trailed realizing what she had said

"The other guy says, 'We'll come back tommorow, in the mean time lets go to Washington Centre.The elf and santa there are too busy talking to watch the money.."

Sue turned to face Jack "Thats where Lucy and Myles are..Wow, I wouldn't have expected that."
Sue and Jack packed up and headed back to the office.Jack had secretly took pictures with his "pen" and they were looking through files to match the young men. In the meantime, they would wait until tommorow to head back to the malls.

Jack called everyone into the office, saying "We know that the young thieves were planning on stealing form Washington Centre today.However, snce we packed up everything, we will wait until tommorow.Our young perpitrators like sue, so I want someone new on the job, just until we catch someone."

"But why-"

"Because, if they like Santa's little helper, they won't steal from us.So, I will help Jack." Eleanor almost squealed

Jack looked beat." Well, she has a point.. nobody has seen her yet."

Sue went to say something to tara, when Eleanor almost yelled

"NOW, SUE, DO LISTen TO YOUR BOSS.THERE IS NO ARGUING HERE!!!"

Sue looked disgusted as she signed to Lucy "Well, if the boys have some common sense, they will know not to like her. Lucy and Tara chuckled.

"So, D watcha say?"Eleanor said

"well," Bobby said, answering D "There shouldn't be any threat of love, here...You will do for now.

Bobby signed "Sorry, thomas.

She signed "No problem, can't wait to watch how Jack handles this one.

Jack jokingly gave Sue a bad look and se began to laugh.

She signed "Remember hudson, I'll be watching your every move.

However, deep dwn, she was feeling very, very jealous.

Eleanor through her hands up in confusion and left the room.

Myles said "Thank god she is gone!!!!!!!!"

I agree w/ Myles, " Thank God! "

Monday,December 6

All the team members, even myles were up bright and early today.

Eleanor had been more of a nuisance this morning, by saying to Sue

"Thomas, have fun in the van...I'll have a good time with Jack".

Sue ignored the comment and smiled a fake smile.

Now she sat in the Survalience van frowning, watching the monitors. Bobby, myles and D were in Washington Centre for backup.

Sue read what Eleanor was saying

"Jack, I've missed you...Its been quite some time...Jack, can we..umm you know try it again."

"No, Eleanor, not now."

"Why not?"

"Well, I don't like you anymore.I find it repulsive the way you talk to members of the team."

"Oh, you mean, like Blondie?!?!Well, let me tell you something-" Eleanor turned and Sue was unable to read what she said, until she face her again

"Jack, I'm better than her.You can't actually tell me you like her??!!!???"

Sue had had enough and she turned away, facing Tara and Lucy.

Tears were forming in her eyes as she explained what she had read.

Tara and Lucy were appalled, and when Sue was busy with Lucy, Tara, spoke into the mic.

"Remember,Eleanor, JACK, that you are monitered and Sue can LIPREAD."

Jack hearing this, immediatly felt guily, but Eleanor simply said "NOw she knows.
THis did not go over well with any team members, because EVERYONE loved Sue.

Sue turned back just in time to see the two theives come up.One nodded and went to the money.

Jack and Eleanor completly ignored the boys until they took money.

As soon as that happened, backup arrived, arresting the two boys.

Upon a check, they learned that there names were Josh Harverde and Micheal Omall.

Sue stepped out of the van as the young men were led away.

They saw Sue, and smiled.She ignored them.

The team met up again in the Bullpen, and Sue quietly sat at her desk, looking at no one.She went on the computer, and instead talked to Tara

CmptrGiek: Hi Sue, how ya holding up?

FBEYE: Not bad, really bored and mad

CmptrGiek:Sue, you know he likes you, right?

FBEYE:No

CmptrGiek;Sue, I really can't wait until Christmas, everyone is so hyped...

FBEYE: Great, I can't wait either... Lets just hope we're all still single by then..

Sue cast a glance at Eleanor and Jack, Jealousy raging through her.

Tara looked up, too.

Sue thought, Is it still the season to be jolly?

Well I just got caught up and you have Eleanor in a perfect one...one that we hate...

Keep it coming but please don't let her get the best of Sue...Sue way better than her and shouldn't have to fight for Jack. She beats Eleanor hands down just by walking in the room.

Very Very Good! I am seriously loving this. I hope Jack gets some sense knocked into him and completely tells eleanor off and then does something about him and Sue. They seriously have to get together. Well, Great Job Again! Can't wait for you to add a ton more!

[I]Tuesday, December 7th

Micheal and Josh refused to talk to anyone; Bobby,D,Jack,Myles, even Tara, Lucy and Eleanor.

Josh said to Jack as he left the interogation room for the second time.

"You know, if you bring in the blond, we'll tell her everything."

Jack did not want this, but they had interogated both young men all day yesterday, and even ted had had enough.

"Sue can go in, but i want the boys seperated."

Jack was very uncomfotable, but Sue said " I can handle this."

She walked into interogation room number one.

Micheal looked her up and down.She was wearing a collared shirt with a matching skirt.

Sue sat down. She eyed him suspiciously. She began " I've heard you've made it very hard on my colleagues.You've been stubborn, won't talk to anyone but me.

Micheal smiled saying "That's right, HONEY!"

Jack was about to bust open the door when Bobby stopped him.

Sue got up and leaned over Micheal "nobody, especially you, calls my 'Honey' Do I make myself clear.?"

A little taken aback, Micheal contered "Not even Special Agent Jack."

Everyone, who was watching thought

Even he can see it!!!

Eleanor however siad "Of course not, why would he think such a thing?He must be high!"

Sue was shocked but she continued " We are not here talking about pet names.You may have got your way this time, but prison has strict rules that you won't be able to bend. NOW START TALKING!!!!"

Micheal Began " Me and Josh have needed some extra cash lately, so we thought that stealing from a charity would be quick and easy."

"What did you need the money for?"

"Well...umm....Josh and I.... we buy drugs..... from a dealer.... and he said that if we don't have all the money by tommorow, he will have both of us killed."

"We're going to need a name of who you buy from."

Micheal wrote dwn his name and Sue asked "How much money do you need to pay him?"

"$2000"

Sue shook her head as she stood up, saying "What a waste of money."

Micheal touched her arm to get her attention "Did SpecialJack tell you the other half of the deal?!?!

Sue looked at him confused

"You have to kiss me." He said

Now, by this time, Jack was ready to shoot the stupid teen.Bobby held him back though, saying

"Jack,Sue can handle this.And if she can't BOTH of us can save her. okay?'

Jack cooled down, only to hear Eleanor say

"she'll probably let him too.Heck, the only guy who wants to kiss her is a pot head!"She laughed and the rest of the team gave her dirty looks.

Sue looked at Micheal and said " Even IF that were part of the deal, which i know it isn't, I wouldn't do it. Merry Christmas.

She walked out the door to meet the whole team, including Eleanor.

Lucy nodded her head and Myles said 'Good work, special Agent."

Sue smiled at them all and then stared back to see Micheal smiling at them all.

Josh's story matched Micheal's to a T, but Josh didn't try anything with her, which Sue was grateful, not only for herself, but because Tara and Lucy told her Jack freaked out, and Sue did not want Jack to have another heart attack.She had also heard about Eleanor's tactics, and had it up to here with her.

Back in the bullpen it was decided that they would use Josh and Micheal to get the Drug dealer, known on thr streets as "Major," with his real name being Samuel Jones.

Sue hoped that this case would be over soon, because then Eleanor would finally leave them all alone.

Wednesday, December 8

The boys were set up and ready.Major came and took the money.The boys then bought some more drugs. The minute he handed Josh and Micheal the drugs, the FBI arrested him.

Sue was so happy, because now that the case was solved Eleanor could finally leave.

They returned to the bullpen.

Ted came out and said " I know you will be sad by this loss, but unfortunatly Eleanor must return to her team this afternoon.

Sue said to Lucy " Oh, I'm sure her team really missed her."

Jack came up to Sue " Do you want to go out for lunch?"

Sue was about to answer,"of course" when Eleanor said " Oh.. Jackie, I'd love to..I'd never thought you'd ask."

Jack was about to say something when Tara said " We'll all come."

There was a look in her eye that told them all she had something up her sleeve.

Lunch

In the restaraunt they found a table for eight.Eleanro automatically sat next to Jack.Lucy hurled Sue onto the other side of him.Sue gave Lucy a look, but Lucy smiled.

When they were all seated, lucy began " So...Eleanor, I can see you are..mm smitten with our Jack..."

Eleanor smiled and said " oh, it can't be that obvious."

Sue leened over past Jack and said " Oh, it is!!!"

Tara continued "You two seem to have some history together.." Jack shot her a warning look, but tara's look told him to zip it.

"Well, we did go on a few dates.."

"And then?" Myles said "Did sparky break your heart?"

"Well, no, I left. I made an awful mistake, and I want another chance."

Bobby chimed in " Afraid its too late, El.You see,Sparky's in love again, well, with an agent, but not you."

"Jack, is this true?"

"Ya, you could say that."

Sue was reading the whole converstation, but said to herself

Even if its me, he'd say ANYTHING to get away from her..I DON'T BLAME HIM!!!!!!!!!!!

"And, you see, the two of them have a history too!"

"Oh, really??"

"Yes" Lucy said "They've been on numerous dates..."

"Uncountable, actually" Myles said.

"They were, a one point, married, and very convincing, while undercover." Tara added.

"And", Sue said, her eyes as cold as ice " 'they' were caught in the heat of the moment, making out in an office."

"Oh..." Eleanor muttered

"So, there's no chance for me?" she sniffed

"No, I'm sorry." Jack said

"Okay, well, I better leave."

"And Sue," Sue looked her in the eyes " I'm sorry about this week. I guess I realize now that I was jealous of what you and Jack have." Sue nodded and smiled.

She was thinking however, What exactly do we have????!!?!?!?!?

Eleanor left, for good, and the team burst into a fit of giggles.

Bobby, between laughs, said "Boy, did we fool her."

"Ya, that was great, thanks you guys." Jack said, surpressing a laugh.

Sue's face fell.She thought i was right, it was just a setup.

Sue quietly left teh table, adn lucy thought she went to go to teh bathroom.

Jack said " And Sue..the part about us in the office..." HE turned around, seeing that Sue had left.

Lucy, who was mad by now said "You insensitive people.Sue played along, but you hurt her feelings.Jack, when will you realize that she likes you... she thought it was for real."

Tara said " She must have left to take Levi for a walk.She slipped out unnoticed."

Jack got up from the table

Of course I like Sue!I love her.I was just hiding my feelings from her.!Stupid me!

Meanwhile, Sue walked through the park.She sat on the bench, as she saw a familiar face.She went to get up to leave, but it was too late.

She was picked up and carried to an awaiting vehicle. She saw Jack coming out of the restaurant his eyes gazing upon her.He began running towards, her, but the car sped away.

She thought, thank God he knows where I am, as she fell unconsious.

Uhhhhhhh! Sue!!!!! nooooooooooo Jack follow her. Wait it could be Eleanor.

Ahhh! Just when Jack was going to set things right with Sue. Who took her? I hope it wasn't Eleanor. Someone needs to deck that woman. can't wait to read more.

Sue woke up to Sunshine streaming in her face.She was on cold concrete and she had a headache.

She immediatly began to sob, thinking to herself

Why do my emotions get the best of me? if I wouldn't have left the restarant, I wouldn't be here.

Sue realized that she still had her blackberry.She hid it carefully, as she sensed someone was looking at her.

She looked up and screamed.

There, staring back at her was...

Jack said " Darn it, I can't believe that!"He took her.Why?"

The team had been working all night, and they got nothing.

Everyone was tired and grumpy.Everyone, even Myles, had tear streaks down their cheeks

Tara yelled "Got, it, the car is on 4th Street and Homeland CR.It is at an old warehouse."

The men jumped up and ran out the door.Lucy and Tara ran for survalliance.

Warehouse

Meanwhile, back at the warehouse, he stood before Sue.Sue was crying.

He said " Sue Thomas, I hate being turned down.I may be young, but I hate rejection.He knelt down to her and went to kiss her.

Sue's reflexes kicked in.She slapped him and ran to the end of the small room. He had made sure he had locked the door behind him.

By now, Levi was on edge and was growling at the man. The man hit levi and Sue screamed

"Leave him alone."

He stopped and looked at her " Its just you and me, BABE!"

"Don' call me that. I have a boyfriend. JACK!!JACK!!JAck"

She merclessly called his name.Her kidnapper laughed out loud

"Lover Boy ain't going to save you now!! HONEY"

He leaned over and pinned her against the wall.He was removing the blanket from around her shoulders while she continued screaming

Jack heard her scream his name and he ran toward the sound.He didn't wait for backup as he busted open the door. Bobby came behind him, followed by D and Myles.

"Don't you lay one more hand on her,FREEZE!!!" Jack yelled

Myles went over, guns raised, to the man, saying "Micheal Omall, you are under arrest for the kidnapping, amongst other things, of an fbi agent."

As soon as the handcuffs were on, Jack ran to Sue and she continued to sob.

Jack was glad that Sue could not hear Micheal's last comment,

"Good thing price charming was, here, or the outcome wouldn't have been in her favour.

Had Sue not needed Jack at that moment, he would have slugged the guy and sent him to the morgue himself.

Sue was wearing a beautiful white gown.Lucy and Tara were her maids of honour.

She had never imagined that this day would come... She looked gorgeoues, and she had never seen Tara and Luc more beautiful.

She began her walk up the isle, seeing Bobby, D and Myles as the best men.

She then saw her groom.He looked so handsome.He lifted her veil and she screamed.

She turned around to Lucy and Tara. She asked

"Where's Jack?"

"Sue, you didn't invite him.Now, stop this nonsence and marry David.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she looked to the priest.

"YOu two are now BOUND in love FOREVER."

The priest smiled at Sue and said "And now, Jack is mine.

She then realized that the priest had been Eleanor.

"No!!!!!!!!!!!!!' She sat upright, seeing her teamates concerned faces.

She was in a hospital.

Jack said "Sue, are you alright???"

She nodded, but Lucy interupted "No, of course she is not alright.I want her to go to a therapist."

"Lucy, I don't need a therapist."

"But you were having a nightmare-"

"Yes, and, not that it is everyone's concern.." She saw the hurt look on everyone's faces "Okay, so it is your concern. My nightmare was that I married David."

Bobby couldn't contain his laughter, and tara grinned.

Sue said " What, it was pretty scary.Luc and tar, you were my Maids of honour and myles, D and Bobby were the best men."

"But, wait," Lucy said after she had calmed down "Where was Jack?'

Sue blushed and said " I don't know. Lucy, you and Tara told me that I didn't invite him."

The room went silent.Myle and D excused themsleves after D had broke the silence by saying

"Micheal Omall is now in jail for traffiking AND the kidnapping of an fbi agent."

Bobby and Jack got up and left to get some coffee, both saying 'We'll be back soon."

This left the three girls alone.

Tara sat down next to Sue, where Jack had been moments before.

"Sue," She began... "That wasn't the whole dream, was it?"

"No, but how did you know?"

"You were calling our names, but mostly Jack's."

Sue looked flustered as she explained the whole dream.

When she was finished, the girls looked more at ease.

Lucy said "Sue, we'd never EVER let you marry anyone but Jack."

"And, Eleanor, WOULDN'T be the priest" Tara added.

Sue smiled and said " Why am I in her anyway?"

Tara explained "We were all so worried about you, especially Jack, so we wanted you to stay in the hospital. You slept all yesterday, and today.The doctor said it was shock, stress, and you just being tired."

She looked at the clock.It was eight at night.


"When can I come home?"

"Tommorow."

"Will you guys wait for me to decorate the office."

"Sure, we'll do it when your back."

Sue said, determined, "I'll be back by Monday, we'll do it then."

Cafeteria

"Ya know what I think, mate."

"No, I don't.What?"

"Well, I'm not a dream reader or anything, but I think Sue's dream started out as a dream, and then turned into a nightmare."

"Why would you say that, Bobby."

"Jack, You call yourself a fbi agent?We were all there..Sue was having a dream about marrying YOU."

Jack spilled his coffee. "What?"

"Come on, mate,You were the only one missing.We were all there.It makes sense, that we would be your best men, right."

"Ya, it does.We better head back before the girls grill Sue about it."

"Oh Sparky, they already have, its called Women's Intuition.They know each other as much as they know themselves."

The three agents left shortly after, leaving behind Jack and Sue.

Sue said "Jack, go home, sleep."

"Sue, i'm not leaving.Its my fault your here."

"No, Jack, its not.It's my fault.I can never take a joke."

"So am I in the doghouse about yestersday at lunch?"

She was about to answer when she gripped his arm "Jack, where's Levi?"

She looked so concerned. Jack said "He's at the vet, he's fine.He did really well yesterday."

Sue relaxed a little

Jack said "We'll pick him up on our way to your apartment."

Sue asked "We?"

"Well, ya, if its okay with you."

"Sure,i guess."

Sue, you were there when I had my heart attack, but I turned you away for Ali."

Sue shifted her eyes, because she was hurt.

He touched her arm "I'm really sorry fo all I did wrong.This week, last week, last year, whenever.Forgive me."

She simply answered, "I have," pulling him into a hug.

Nice job...there's some much confusion in their relationship. You've dealt with it nicely. Looking forward to more.

By 9:00 am Saturday mornig, Sue was itching to get out of the hospital.The food was gross, the place smelled, and she just wanted to go home.

Lucy came with a pair of clothes to change into.

Jack had finally left at 10:00 last, night, and he arrived shortly after nine.

Sue was not impressed by Lucy's clthes decision.Lucy, who was still playing matchmaker had furrowed through Sue's closet, finding her 'hottest clothes.'

Sue gave Lucy a look, and Lucy said" What? it was all I could find."

Sue got up and jumped in the shower.She then proceeded to put on her hip hugger jeans, and her tight t-shirt that said "Love"

She quickly brushed her hair and walked back into the room to be greeted by Jack with a look.

Jack Hudson, you could say,was checking out Sue Thomas.

Sue quickly changed the Subject

"Morning"

"Goodmorning Sue, you look umm...."

"Ya,well, thats' what happens when you trust your best friend and roomate to bring you in, let me quote ' my comfy clothes'"

Lucy stifled a giggle.

Sue quickly got on her Jacket.

Jack thought, Snap outta it, hudson.

He shook his head, and when he found his voice again, he said

"Lucy, Sue and I are going to pick up Levi, and take him for a walk.We'll meet you back at the apartment."

"Okay," Lucy said "The rest of the 'single' team wants to come over, is that okay?"

Sue replied,"I'm feeling fine,it would be good to hang out."

Lucy left and quickly signed "you've got him where you want him, now do it."

Jack turned around and said," I missed that, what did she say?"

"Oh, she just said to have a good time."

Right, Jack thought.

They walked up to the counter

"Hello, Ms.Thomas, nice to see you. Let me get Levi."

Levi came bounding out and jumped on Sue.After a few minute of reuniting, Sue went to pay.

The vet said "Oh, Ms Thomas, your husband already paid for Levi."

Sue put on a smile and walked out the door.Yesterday's dream came back to her..
If only it were true, hi everyone, this is my husband, Jack Hudson.

As soon as they were outside, she turned to him with an amused look on her face." Husband?'

Jack through up his hands 'They wouldn't have taken Levi, unless you came in...so I had to say we were married.." Hi voice trailed off.

She looked over and smiled "Quick thinking,"

"Ya," He said.

"Let me pay you back,Jack"

"oh no, he saved alot from you yesterday.It's my treat."

"Thanks Jack."

They walked to the park and sat on a bench.Sue threw Levi the ball as Jack watched

Sue was in a flirtatious modd, so she said.

"You know, I know someone, who is handsome, adorable, smart and funny.Do you know who I'm talking about?"

Jack closed his eyes. Where had he heard this before?

"I have an idea."

He looked at her and she quickly looked down at levi, saying.

"Oh...YOU thought I was talking about YOU!But I was really talking about levi."

Jack laughed in spite of himself. He was being compared to as a dog.

They left the park and went to have breakfast.

They didn't return to the apartment until around eleven.

Lucy had filled in the other people in on her clothes scheme. Everyone had a laugh, but when Sue walked in a took off her coat, all of the mens jaws dropped.Even Jack's.

Sue gave Lucy a look and said 'Great, now they are keeping me on survelliance."

She turned to the men " I am clearly flattered by your reaction, but I wouldn't want any of you getting hurt over this..since all of you had lost your concentration.I am going to get changed.

"No.."The men said at once.

Sue looked at tara and Lucy for help.

Tara ushered her into the bedroom. Once inside sue sighed a sigh of relief, and a sigh of happiness.

She came out ten minutes later wearing less revealing jeans and a looser t shirt.

Jack almost looked dissapointed. He said "Sue, you take the fun out of everything."

The other two men agreed.She retorted with a smile "Oh, yes, I had a great time watching you watch me and my various curves."

The men looked a little embarrased, but Sue said "its fine, lets get on with it."

The men looked relieved.

lucy broke the silence, " I was thinking that since we have these big, strong, burly men to help us, we would put up our decorations.

"Sounds great!Then we can decorate the office Monday."

The rest of the day was spent laughing and joking as the decorations were strung.

Sue, Tara and Lucy had secretly put up 3 mistletoes, and each girl had fun trying to get each couple to stand beneath it, Jack and Sue, Myles andlucy, Bobby andTara.

In the end, they all succeeded, each girl glad that they had gotten a kiss on the cheek from their favourite men.
The men left around six after finishing cleaning up after a dinner the girls prepared.

As the men were leaving Tara said 'Our office Christmas party is next Saturday, so what about if we go shopping for dresses tommorow."

The girls agreed. The men left only after making sure Sue was going to be fine.

The girls sat on the couch saying nothing.They had stars in their eyes as they thought of the days events.

Later on that night Bobby, Myles and Jack went each went to sleep dreaming about a certain woman.

Fun "coupling."

December 12

Tara met up with Sue and Lucy at "Doofy's" Restaurant.

All three of them were ecstatic to be shopping for dresses.

They went into a small formal boutique called Lo's

There were hundreds of dresses to choose from.

Each girl was in her glory as she ran around getting a dress in her size.
They spent an hour browsing and they eventually met by the changerooms.
By the time they were ready to try them on, each woman had a armful of expensive, exquisite dresses.

Sue said" I think that one girl should go in at a time and the other two should put in imput."

Tara went first.Everything looked great on her.After minutes of looking in the mirror, she decided on a Royal Blue dress, with a v neck.The dress dropped all the way to the floor.She looked utterly stunning.She got a matching shall for her shoulders.

Lucy went next, and she had a hard time between two dresses. One dress was black with jewels and spaghetti staps.It was knee high, but had a train on the back of it.
The second dress was a sleevless gold evening gown that touched the floor. After an hour debate, Lucy decided the black one was the one.

Last but not least was Sue.Mostly everything she tried on looked gorgeous, but she had a hard time choosing. She picked up a sheek deep blue dress.It was strapless.It touched the ground.I was fabulous .

Everyone agreed that each woman had chosen the perfect dress for herself.They all got shoes, and they were ready to go.Sue and Lucy had also bought perfectly matching shalls.

They were walking downtown and Sue was window shopping.

She looked at one store, and a brilliant idea came to mind.

She turned to the girls and told them her plan.

Both enthusiastically agreed.

They walked into the store and began browsing.

An hour later they paid for their purchases, and walked out of the store.

Sue turned to both of her friends.

"Something tells me, that by the end of Christmas, we won't be single anymore."

The girls giggled as they walked to lunch.

Monday, December 13

Ted came into the bullpen early Monday with good news for the group.

"Since you all have worked hard this year, I am deciding that you deserve a break. I am giving you the week before christmas off."

Cheers arouse from all around "With Pay" He added.

"However." Ted continued "This means that you will all have paperwork to finish up."

Everyone sighed "Just try to get all reports done..When your finished, LOOK BUSY or I'll give you more work.Okay?"

Everyone, again nodded their heads.

"Oh, and Lucy, I approve of you guys decorating.You can decorate the office this morning."

And so the morning was spent carefree, everyone, even Myles, pitching in to help.

Lucy hung a mistletoe at the enterance into the bullpen.

After lunch, they all came back in the Christmas Spirit, and were happy with how joyous the office looked.

Everyone was doing paperwork when Sue noticed Eleanor standing in the doorway.She looked around, saying

"Hello, Eleanor."

Jack and everybody looked up.Eleanor smiled and looked at Jack.

"Jack, could I see you over here."

Sue and Lucy both signed wuickly "mistletoe" but Jack didn't understand.

He went over and impatiently said "WHAT?" She looked up and said

"O my goodness!A mistletoe!!!" And with that she leaned on for a kiss, not on the cheek, o no, on the mouth.

bobby was shocked, and Myles sat stunned in his chair.Lucy and Tara looked mad AND sympathetic towards Sue who, ny now, looked as if she were going to cry.

Jack pulled away hastilty. "Eleanor, you've taken this too far." She silenced him with another kiss.

Sue looked down at levi, and tried to ignore the scene in front of her.

She signed to Levi 'Lets go."

Tara and Lucy followed Sue out of the room. They went into the bathroom.Sue regained composure, and they were able to walk back into the bullpen 10 minutes later.

As lucy went through the doorway she ripped down the mistletoe and chucked it into the garbage, muttereing a few choice words.

Sue sat down at her desk and began her paperwork.She tried to forget what had happened, but she couldn't.She thought back to everything that had happened so far, but her mind drifted back to Calehan and Mercede.

Jack was sitting at his desk intently watching her. He knew Sue would not look up, so he typed her a message on the computer.

JAKSBAK: Sue, look, i m really really sorry.

FBEYE Jack, I'm not discussing it here.Not here, not now, not ever.

Jack left it at that as he began filling out reports.

The whole team could feel the tension in the air.

Lucy was telling Tara about Sue and about how she had spent last night.

"She did nothing all night.She's in the worst mood ever.I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole now."

"So you're implying she's the grinch."Tara giggled.

"Ya, but don't mention it to anyone."

D, who had been filled in on yesterday's happenings, stayed away from both Jack and Sue.

At lunch Sue walked over to Lucy's desk. She said " i have some Christmas shopping to do, so I'll see you after lunch."

Sue went to the mall and bought Tara and Lucy's gift.

She bought Lucy and Tara Spa days, and she bought herself one, so they culd all go together.

Satisfied, Sue thought,

That completes my christmas shopping for the team.

She had even bought Bobby and Jack sold out tickets for the hockey game. Thinking of Jack just made her depressed, so after lunch she pushed him out of her mind and went back to the bullpen.

She fiinished up around four and then drove home wth Lucy.

Lucy said " You know, Jack feels reall terrible.Sue-"

"Lucy, for once please stay out of it.Your my best friend, and I just need a shoulder to cry on."

"Sure Sue"

"Lucy, I'm really sorry.I'm just very upset right now."

"I understand, we'll splurge and eat ice cream at home."

"Sounds great, Lucy"

Wednesday,December 15

Sue had just began her work when she received a phone call.
She answered it, but as soon as she saw who it was, she wished she never had.

"Hi sue, its David."

"David, i told you to leave me alone."

"Sue, I can't.I'm really sorry about what happened.I couldn't stop myself."

"YOu mean, what almost happened?I broke up with you, and I don't want to see you again."

She hung up on him and saw that everyone was looking at her.

She said 'What do I need to do to get some privacy here?"

She motioned for Tara and Lucy to come over

"Girls, I need some girls talk.Can we eat lunch together."

Both already had plans, but knowing that this was really important, both said "Sure."

Lucy went to her desk and cancelled her plans and Tara did the same.

When Sue was working, she could feel eyes on her.She looked up to see Jack staring at her.

She gave a nod and went back to work.

Lunch

Once they had ordered, Sue started

"Thank you for cancelling your plans.I wouldn't have let you do that, but this is really important."

She shuddered at the thought.

'You see, David and I broke up three weeks ago or so.. I never really gave you a real reason, but I can't keep it any longer."

she paused and said " it might not seem like a big deal to you, but it is to me. He said the other night that he thought i had feelings for Jack."

She looked at both women "Which, of course is true." The women nodded. Sue continued "I said I didn't because I wasn't ready to admit it yet, even to myself.He said that I had to prove it.He said he wanted to take things to the next level."

"Oh, Sue." Lucy started

HE drove me back to his apartment, but I told him I wouldn't do what he wanted until I found a husband.So then he gets this insane idea of us eloping."

The tears began at this point. "I said no and then he said that it proves I like Jack, not him.I again said no, but he wouldn't hear it.Finally, I was so mad and scared that I just left and broke up with him."

They were eating at this time, and the girls were looking at Sue

"I'm sorry I never told you until now, but I was just mad and angry.

Lucy leaned over and hugged her." And now", she said between tears, "he wants to try it again."

Sue almost laughed "That's why I had a nighmare anout marrying David."

The three women shared a knowing look.

She quickly wiped away the tears as the men strode through the door.

They joined the girls with a quizzled look at Sue as she excused herself to freshen up.

Jack asked "Is she alright? What's wrong?"

Tara said, a little too quickly "Nothing, she wants to keep it between us girls.If she wants to tell you, she will at her own time."

Sue returned to the table and the conversation turned to different things, but the whole time Jack was watching Sue and the girls sharing looks.Jack ddin't know what those looks meant, but he knew they weren't good.

Sue couldn't take it any longer.She hated being mad at Jack, and she hated how she wasn't able to stare back at him all day.

She had a long terrible day, and went back to the apartment. Lucy was going out with some old roomates from college, and Sue found herself alone.

She sat on the couch, stroking Levi for a long time. She thought about it and realized she had been wrong.

It was all Eleanor's doing, not Jack's.

Jack's my best friend, the love of my life.

She picked up her blackberry and dialed Jack's number.

"hudson residents."Sue realized right away that it was Eleanor.She was about to hang up when Jack took the phone.

"Hello."

"Hi JAck, its Sue, I was wanting to talk, but I can see that you have company so-"

"No, Sue, I need to set things straight between us. I'll be over in a bit."

Sue hung up, not letting her emotions get the best between her.

She went and changed into regular clothes, ones she thought he would like.

The doorbell rang and Levi jumped on her. Sue ran to the door and opened it, smiling.

That smile turned to a frown as she looked at the man who was standing before her.

It was David. A chill went down her spine. He held up flowers for her. She looked at him disgusted.

She snapped "What the h*** do you want."

"Well, can I at least come in." She shut the door behind him.

She said "I'm expecting company."

he countered ' Darn, that ruins our plans."

"WHAT PLANS"

"Well, the plans of us taking things a little..farther."

"David, I told you, I'm not doing that and I'm not going to marry you."

"Then I will just have to force you."

"You can't force me to marry you!"He smiled, a wicked smile.

"I want you to leave before I call the cops."

"Sue, I really love you.i want to marry you."

Sue loked at him and snarled. "You just want to beat Jack Hudson.You think that if you put a ring on my finger I will, somehow, love you. News flsh, never going to happen.I can't believe that your making me choose between you and Jack,But, if I did have the choice, it would be Jack, FYI.I can trust him.I can't trust you."

"So then you do love Jack and you've just used me.."

"I do not need to discuss this with you. I have never used you and i won't.I need you to leave, and never come back. I am scared of you, and I will not be your wife."

"We'll see about that."

He left and turned around. "Bye, Sue, my sweetheart."

God, what is it with people calling me pet names?

She didn't see him leave, and she didn't see Jack enter.

She said to,Levi

"Good thing Jack didn't hear that.."

Sue turned, and judging by the bemused, concern, and his raised eyebrows on his face, she knew he HAD heard it.

She sighed, motioned for him to sit, and began to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.She told him everything, and in the end, she cried out of fear in his arms.

" I'm sorry, about the whole eleanor thing, Jack."

"I'm sorry too.She came over tonight because I had to make sure she knew for a fact, that it was over. And she eventually understood, crystal clear."

Sue was a little embarassed, having told Jack that they had broken up because of him.She didn't like the fact that he had heard about Sue's feelings.She would staighten things out later. Right now, both of them were in their own thoughts.

Jack had heard the whole conversation, but he knew that Sue had to do this for herself, by herself.There would be things to discuss later.

Jack swore that he would never let David hurt Sue again.

And, that, he thought, is a promise.

I was hoping on having this finished on christmas, but SURPRISE its Christmas!!! So i will finsh it by the deadline and hope everyone will continue to read it and reply to it. Thanks so much

The bullpen was busy, with everyone trying to get ready for Christmas. Everyone wanted to make sure that everything was in order so that they could spend the holidays at ease.

Garrett let everyone out eary, saying "Have a good holiday,I hope we won't be needing you.Merry Chirstmas"

Sue got everyone's attention " Okay,first of all, is everyone who was single 2 weeks ago still single?"

Everyone nodded. "Good," Sue started, and then, thinking that she was talking about their love life, she said "I mean, bad for you, good for me."

She stopped and laughed with everyone. 'Okay, what I mean to say is if anyone does not want to come to our place, its your loss, not ours."

They all nodded again.

bobby started "Now the FBI Christmas dance is tommorow evening.Can we expect our little Shiela's to be there?"

"Of course Bobby,why wouldn't we? I am in heaven fixing these girls up.We girls are going to get our hair done."

Sue shook her head "Lucy, I'll look all made up.You're supposed to look natural,just a little fancier."

"Sue, this is not the time or place to discuss this."

Sue shook her head "Fine."

Everyone got ready to leave and they all walked out together.On their way out,Sue gave D his gift "I'll see you tommorow night, but I wanted you to have this." Sue handed D his gift and smiled.

At home, everyone thought of the day to come.They could ot wait until tommorow,the Christmas Party, where each person,even D, hoped that sparks would fly.

Saturday, December 18 Part 1

Sue awoke and groaned. Lucy had flicked the lights on.

"Wake up, sleepyhead.We've got a busy day ahead of us."

Sue dragged herself to the bathroom and jumped into the shower.

She went to the kitchen and saw that Tara was already there, looking just as excited as Sue.

"Guys, look, we're going to have a great day.I promise, I won't control you.Okay?"

Tara and and Sue smiled.

After breakfast Sue got dressed and they left.

Their first stop was the beauty salon. There they each had a manicure.

Sue enjoyed the manicure the most because this was her first ever manicure.

"Growing up, my mom and I never really did things together.as much as I hate how she rules my life, I'm sad that she won't be here this year for christmas."

Sue's face fell, and Lucy and Tara noticed it.

However, her face brightened when they pulled up to the Hair Salon.

They quickly grabbed lunch and then headed to the Salon. All three women got their hair done at the same time.

Tara opted for her hair to be put up in curls, with a bun at the back of her head. Lucy, in between Sue and Tara, had her hair curled and left long and wavy.
Sue had her hairdresser curl her hair into long, thin ringlets that fell just beneath her shoulders.

Sue was satisfied as she said "There, just a fancier version of me."

It was now three o'clock and Tara and Sue thought that they were heading back to their apartment, but Lucy had another surprise for them.

"We're what?" Tara asked

"We're getting our makeup proffesionally done.Its not THAT big!"

"Ya, but neither is my bank account,luc!" Sue said

Lucy looked at both women "Well, this happens to be my christmas present to you: get a consultation and your makeup done! Have fun!

All three submerged an hour later looking like Gods.The makeup enhanced their natural beauty.

Sue gasped at the time "Luc, we have to get Tara home, the party starts in a hour."

"Tara brought her dress over to our apartment, but we better hurry or we'll be late."

The girls rushed into the apartment, without upsetting their hair of course.

The women got changed; Tara in the bathroom and Sue and Lucy in their bedrooms.

The girls met in the hallway adn hugged each other, so happy that they had each other as friends. They looked in the mirror, and took a few pictures before heading to the hall.

"Lets make it a yearly tradition," Tara agreed

Lucy smiled.

They silently drove to the hall.
The ladies had thier hearts in their mouths as they entered the hall. FBI friends floated around, with many male colleagues staring at them in awe. Sue then became self conscious, but lucy reassured her, saying "Sue, its a compliment."

They went and found their teams table.The men were already there and each had a grin on their face as the saw the women.

Everyone then thought

Tonight will definatly be interesting

Saturday, December 18 Part 2

Jack got up and greeted Sue by saying "You look, marvelous Sue.WOW"

Bobby walked over to Lucy and said "Hello Shiela, in a seriosness, you look drop dead gorgeous."Tara was a bit taken aback, but she smiled at the compliment.

Luvy was left alone as Myles came to her saying "Lucy, I've never seen you...dressed so..umm nice...before."

"Thanks Myles", she muttered, looking at him warmly.

D glanced over at his wife and laughed.These me, who took down terrorists and murderers melted at the sight of these three women. D shared a knowing look with his wife, he too remebered when he had been that in love.

D cleared his throat and said to the women "You look stunning..No wonder the men are in a daze."

The three men looked sheepishly at each other and the women took their seats beside their men.

A man came to the table and said to everyone "My my my what a beautiful group of people.How long have you been married?"

The six friends looked at each other and D said "15 years."

Jack was about to say "We're not married, when Sue cut in "The rest of us have only been married six months."

The waiter, who had a french accent smiled and said "Oh, to be young and in love." He walked away after delivering their drinks.

7 other people stared at her in astonishment

"Sue, what possesed you to say a thing like that?" Tara asked.

"Good question,shiela."

"Come on guys, you have to admit, we're pretty convincing.Can't we have some fun?"

Jack looked at her, puzzled.

"I mean, Lucy and Bobby are always teasing me and Jack, so, I can tease you once in a while, right? It was the perfect opportunity" She shrugged

The evening was magical for all the couples. The dinner was great, and after dinner, the dancing started.

Jack turned to Sue "Do you want to Dance-"

He then remebered she was deaf.

Damn it, hudson, stupid me.

Sue reached over and touched his hand.

"Jack, I may be deaf, but i'm not immobile.I can dance, you just have to lead."

Jack looked at Sue and said "That could be scary, but shall we?"

The night ended too soon, and everyone began to disperse.

Sue and Jack decided to go back to his apartment

Lucy shot Sue a warning look and said "Good luck, Sue."

Sue contered "Have a nice coffee with Myles, Lucy."Both women had twinkles in their eyes.

Tara interupted "I would love to stay and chat, but Bobby and I are off for a walk in the park.Goodnight."

Tara winked and walked away with Bobby.

Tara and Bobby had a long talk over coffee, and both left feeling swooned.

Lucy and Myles enjoyed the park, and in the end, left holding hands.

Sue and Jack were quiet on the way to his apartment.

They went in and made popcorn.

Sue said "This is so funny.We're eating popcorn and dressed in formal wear."

Jack said, in all seriousness "Sue, you look beautiful.I've dated quite a few women, but Ive never seen one so...well...amazing.

Sue blushed at the comment, but soon they were cuddling on the couch and watching TV.

Neither knew how it happened, but they fell asleep in each other's arms, Tux and Ball dress included.

Sunday, December 19
Sue awoke by levi's persisitent pawing of her leg.

She looked around to see her surrondings.

Sue, where are you? She thought

She turned around and then realized that she was at Jack's apartment.HE was still slleeping on the couch and she realized that she had slept ON him all night.

She shuddered Wow, this is a new development.What will Lucy think?

Jack woke up minutes later, and he too was surprised at the sleeping arrangements.

He looked at her a little embarassed and said

"Sorry Sue, I just fell asleep."

She said 'Well, I did sleep on top of you..." She shook her head "THAT did NOT sound right..what I meant to say.."

He silenced her with a flick of his hand "sue, what happended happened, and what happened was nothing.But I have to say that I slept comfortably"

She nodded in agreement
She stood up and both realized that they were still wearing last nights outfits.

jack said 'Sue, you can have a shower if you want, I'll take Levi for a walk"

Sue quickly jumped in the shower and put on Jack's housecoat

Wow, this is great.Nice and fuzzy...it even smells like him..wait a minute, snap out of it Sue

Jack came in a stopped in his tracks at the beauty of the women in front of him.She had wet hair and was wearing his robe.

Sue looked up at him from the paper and said "Sorry jack, I have nothing to wear except me evening dress.

Her lips curled into a smile.

'That's okay, I'll get you a some clothes."

He came back out of his bedroom carrying a track suit.

"I going for my shower, you can change in my room." She nodded and went to get changed.

Nice room, she thought

Meanwhile, in the shower, Jack thought Why does this seem so natural?

Jack changed into jeans and a t shirt and met up with Sue in the kitchen.

Jack smiled and Sue said "I like your bedroom." She knew right away that it came out wrong, but she just looked away.

"Hey, " He said ,"you look good in that tracksuit.'

His eyes had a playful look in them and they ate breakfast.

After breakfast, Sue grabbed her dress and phoned Lucy

"hey luc, its Sue."

"Sue WHERE ARE YOU?!?!"

"I'm at Jack's"

LUcy shrieked and sue put down her blackberry.She exchanged glances with Jack and said "We'll give her a moment to cool down.You'd think she won the lottery."

Jack nodded and rolled his eyed

She spoke again "Lucy, nothing happened, we fell asleep on the couch, no big deal. Details? There arent any.

Jack noticed sue's dissapointment and thought

I'll have to do something about that


"HE fell asleep, I fell asleep.End of story.Yes, I slept good.Lucy, can we discuss this later, you know, 'girl talk.'Why?BEcause Jack is sitting here hearing the whole conversation!Ya, he looks pretty uncomfortable."

"Lucy, I'll be home shortly.Okay, yes. I'll tell Jack,Bye"

"What are you supposed to tell me?"

"Oh, nothing." She got up to go, but jack stopped her with is body.His arms were arond her waist to stop her.They were close enough that they easily could have kissed.

"Fine,Lucy said to tell you that it was about time for you to come to your senses.YOu know Luc."Jack odded and let Sue go.

"Thanks for everything, Jack. I had a great time last night."

He replied "So did I."


She went to leave and then turned around

"By the way, tommmorow night we're figuring out what to do for chirstmas, can you come?"

"I'll be there."

"Great" She kissed him on the cheek and left.

Lucy and Sue spent the rest of the day leisurly, and Sue knew she had never felt better in her life.

What Sue didn't know was that Lucy and Tara had a surpirse for Sue.
